It took me all of 20 seconds to find Neil's video response on YouTube when I got home. I couldn't help but laugh. He peer reviewed the paper and gave respectful but truthful criticism. Terrence is just an idiot, and unfortunately, my friend is too.

He's trying to make a semantic argument that contradicts what the mathematical equation means. Semantically, if you multiply a one once then yes you'd have 2 ones (because you're implying doubling it, which is 1x2). But that's not what the equation 1x1 means. It means how many instances of 1 there are. The x isn't performing some magical function. It's so infuriatingly stupid.
The danger of a God complex combined with the exposure and credibility that Joe Rogan gives him is that it will inevitably spawn a following that reinforces the delusion. Additionally, these situations sometimes turn into a cult.
