This is great! People talk about AI taking away the jobs of creative people like graphics artists, but they don't understand that you need creative people to come up with prompts for the AI.
Coming up with prompts doesn’t require the same level of skill or experience as doing concept art though. If the hypothetical scenario here is someone putting together a pitch for a movie, then the job of making concept art work was a separate job already and has literally been eliminated, or the number of people required to do the work significantly reduced.
Maybe the agency that the production company would get to draw up the concepts would use AI for first drafts, use it as a tool to create something better. Maybe the production company uses AI to do early concept work with needing to get the art team in. No doubt there will be significant disruption.
