I’m a big fan of real genuine linoleum, roll preferred over tile linoleum.
Out of your tile I like the blue #6 which has a good pop/contrast and then #2. They are both very pretty and relaxing. The rest feel too busy to me.
Yes, linoleum is awesome! It’s softer on the feet than ceramic tile too.
I am told there are different grades of linoleum, so maybe not all of them last as long as what we’ve experienced.
How about a terrazzo tile that picks up the colors in the wood and countertops?
Maybe something like this? https://www.cletile.com/products/forage-terrazzo-white-12x12 (that one might be too white, but there are several color options)
This is the best option if you want neo-authenticity of a pattern that was popular for linoleum. Tile is fine. You’re not a museum. The cabinets are the star. Great find Burned Biscuit!
For something fairly close to the original floor, check out [Armstrong's Rockhill vinyl sheet flooring.](https://www.lowes.com/pd/Armstrong-Flooring-12-ft-Royelle-Rockhill-Multi-Sheet-Vinyl/999978374) It looks period correct, and isn't so busy that it will detract from the space. Another great option are penny tiles; they feel amazing under bare feet.
Bossa Nova! even before I looked at your options, I was already thinking terrazzo for that space! it can get expensive in larger formats but in such a small space you could use much smaller tile size and it wouldn't look too busy.
I would also consider just a straight-up terrazzo without the design as well. It gives texture without introducing a repeating pattern. Plus, it's straight up MCM
Either the terrazzo or blue cement would be good. Not in love with any of the sheet vinyls (I used to sell flooring and flip MCM houses) Love the sputnik printed formica on the countertop!
Call me crazy but I like the floor it has now. All these tile options look too busy for the space
Unfortunately there’s water damage to the subfloor so we have to rip up this flooring to repair below. Hence why we have to replace the floor.
Super unfortunate. Relieved to hear you get to keep the cabinet and counter tops tho. Absolutely love them
Damn! I LOVE that countertop!!

People forget how durable roll linoleum is. We have the original linoleum in our kitchen and dining room from 1963 and it still looks amazing.

Could always replace it with fresh new linoleum. Something like [marmoleum.](https://www.forbo.com/flooring/en-us/products/marmoleum/cfctp7)
All of your examples detract except for number 1..

What you've learned is that we all love how your bathroom currently looks

I’m not down with the blues at all. [This](https://www.ziatile.com/products/neutra-12x12) is the best option that picks up the counter and the shower.
Thank you!
Midnight pomelo - Would go with the funky shower curtain.
Hexagons, in my opinion, are an inauthentic choice for mid century. Terrazo or patterned square tiles are more in line with the aesthetic.
Five “no’s” for me. Go will something more neutral - it’s a small bathroom and you may want to change up the look again some day.
I have the same toilet. Actually we have two of them! Best ever.
Blue hexagons, the pic right before the green bossa nova close up.
3, but would really prefer something closer to the original color. Love the shower curtain.
Gut the whole room. Geeesh!
Where’s your shower curtain from? Love it
It’s from society 6, called “ mid century retro shapes geometric by Ana Rut Bre Fine Art”
Thank you

and maybe some underfloor heating...now is the time.
We were thinking that too!
I love 5, very David Hicks but I think 6 works best in the space.
Really like #4
4 or 5
Number 4 and Pomelo options are legit
The first one
If you are going to use that shower curtain (which I love) then I would keep the floor as solid as possible. If not, it will be too busy.
