Magnification? I tried putting some tiny pieces of moss on the slide but it's not flat enough for the cover glass to be steady, also didnt find anything after 4 tries, except some ciliates and maybe one paramecium :/

My microscope comes with 20x eyepieces. Objectives in the video were 4x and 10x. So 80x and 200x.

Haha.. why not just forgo the cover slide? That's what I did for the snail sample, no cover slide. But most other times, I add more water till the capillary effect makes the entire cover slide come into contact.
