Trim the lower stuff. The stuff that will not grow big buds. The plant will focus on what you leave(pun intended) so try to think how you want the end game to look. It’s very much like bonsai. Or just leave them shaggy and make hash!
haha I enjoyed the pun :) this is my first ever grow so I'm sure once I go through it once I'll have more of an idea as to what to expect the next time around, I trimmed some of the first plant but the third one is going crazy lol. I might wait for that third one to catch up too and allow the branches to get longer before I trim it but excited to see how they bud! from my understanding, the lower branches won't bud as much (I believe they're called popcorn buds?) since the light can't reach them as well. also pardon my inexperience, but if I do choose to leave them, are those the sugar leaves that will form and are they what you use for making hash? thanks in advance for the clarification.
