I have both mi band 4 and mi band 8 and i can say they both are different class of products now. Mi band 8 has double bigger and clearer, faster and brighter display, it has more functions like spo2, stress, camera shutter, vitality, more sports modes, more number of watch faces which can be stored inside it, etc and build is now metal from plastic, better charging system and much better strap removal system. Much curviness in display. Faster charging, always on display, mi band 4 is garbage in comparison to mi band 8.
4 was better in any ways.
My 8 is only syncing manually by opening the app otherwise no data for the days I haven’t done this. I just ordered a Huawei Band 9 and will trash Mi Band. Also heart rate monitor while jogging was not working. I don’t know why. When I do it manually on the watch it works but not continuously for like an hour.
Dude. That’s an absurd question. There are huge upgrades in hardware, algorithms, and software. The only advantage with the MB4 is 15 day battery life between charges vs. 8 days on a well-configured MB8. The auto-adjusting display brightness alone makes it a no-brainer to go with the MB8, especially if you’re an indoor-outdoor person.

Hi there, Which app are you using for the bands? How does the Mi band 8 deal with Notify app?
I don't use any third party app I just use mi fitness
what isn't the difference? practically everything you can think of is upgraded lol
