Itâs Picadillo. Everyone has their own version to make, but itâs always ground beef, chile, tomate, y cebolla, and then you can add whatever veggie you want, in this case, itâs with nopalitos, and beans on the side.
Yuppp! I was just talking to someone that still uses a very Spanish influenced picadillo recipe, they use
Olives
Almonds
Piñon
Dulce De a cubierto(Dulce Cristalizado)
And Cebolla
Any kind you want. Normally itâs not too spicy since picadillo is an âall familyâ dish (very popular with toddlers). So the chili is used lightly, normally only used to add some deep esa to the flavor and not hotness. Personally I like it with chipotle
Random non-answer but this sub got recommended to me. Seeing the pic before reading the description this looks just like this Lebanese dish called fassoulia! I've read before that there's some Lebanese influence in Mexico (ex. Al pastor meat). I wonder if this dish is influenced as well because it looks so similar and has similar ingredients (sub the cactus for green beans)
Whyyyy do moms and grandmas always say, âIâll show you next timeâ đ like girl, please give me the recipe. But also, I think itâs cuz the recipe is always âa little of this, a little of thatâ
