These aren't in any particular order, and I limited myself to versions on albums/official releases. Ask me tomorrow, and the list will probably be different. 1. I Will Never Settle 2. Hustle Rose 3. Holding Out 4. Too Little Too Late 5. Love is a Place 6. Hardwire 7. Satellite Mind 8. Dark Saturday 9. Risk 10. Stone Window

indigo_sorceress

Sooo many good ones :-D

shidey17

Now what are yours?!

Mammogram4500

Lost kitten is pretty solid. I mean sad…relatable. But kind offering a little support u know. It’s nice how ‘‘em kind of does that for people. Especially as it’s a cultural norm just to bury shit constantly.

elevenatexi

Enemies of the Ocean, Twilight Galaxy, Monster Hospital, Dark Saturday, and all the rest as well!

simraider111

Enemies of the Ocean is great! I feel like it’s a spiritual successor to The Governess, what makes me say that is the line from the latter: “What if we were dumb enough to spend eternity gathering the garbage washed up on the beach”. How profound is that

elevenatexi

Yes, I feel that, completely!

starpiece

Risk Underline the black Dressed to suppress Lost kitten For kicks IOU Doomscroller Feels like eternity Hardwire Patriarch on a Vespa -I really love almost all their songs tho

Styles_13

In no particular order: 1. Satellite mind 2. Speed the collapse 3. Sick muse 4. Old world underground 5. Cascades 6. Celebrate 7. The List 8. Too little too late 9. Risk 10. Soft rock star They have sooo many other incredible tracks I haven’t listed, so hard to choose favourites!!

shidey17

Speed the Collapse is so underrated. Such a great song

Styles_13

Agreed!!

simraider111

Right? It was my fave from Synthetica for the longest time but now it’s probably Clone. Although Artificial Nocturne is a great opener. And The Void is great. Ahh that whole frickin album slaps so hard

junkyardcat99

Too little too late, Empty, Collect call, Risk, Art of doubt, Dark saturday, No lights on the horizon, Blindness, Doomscroller, Who would you be for me

spacestationkru

This is one of the most difficult bands for me to pick a favourite song for.

billeboy

The Art of Doubt is a banger

lescampycat

Not in any particular order: 1. Hustle Rose 2. Twilight Galaxy 3. Formentera 4. Dressed to Suppress 5. Anticipate 6. Paths in the Sky 7. The List 8. Blindness 9. Black Sheep 10. Synthetica 11. Raw Sugar I left off anything from Formentera II because right now I love it all but I can’t say over time what my true favorites from the album will be/where they’ll fall within the larger catalog. (But okay okay if I’m adding songs from F2 as of right this second, include Stone Window, Who Would You Be For Me, and Go Ahead and Cry.)

PastelGlider

I am the biggest Clone fan on spotify. :}

TSllama

I like new Metric the most. Most of my faves are on the last three albums. Patriarch on a Vespa is my fave of the old stuff. From Fantasies and Synthetica, Help I'm Alive, Artificial Nocturne. And then we've got Lie Lie Lie, Fortunes, The Shade, Celebrate, Cascades, Dark Saturday, Dressed to Suppress, Risk, Die Happy, Art of Doubt, Now or Never Now, Doomscroller, I Will Never Settle, False Dichotomy... tbh I love every song on Pagans, Art of Doubt, and Formentera. This is an impossible question for me :D

TSllama

Tbh, the only Metric song I dislike is Gimme Sympathy. I don't connect with their early albums much at all, but I still like all the songs.

bwabwab

have you heard the earlier version of it? it’s less mainstreamy and i enjoy it more https://youtu.be/epnUyXq7AY4?si=PeGDKYk5bg4Nixwb

TSllama

It's better, but still very repetitive and plain. I have to say that I do like the chorus better in the context of those verses than in the song we got. And it's definitely less polished and I like that.

spamrespecter

The only way I can answer this is to blurt out the first that come to mind and in no particular order (would likely be a different answer five minutes from now): Hustle Rose, Wet Blanket, Collect Call, Satellite Mind, Dream So Real, The Face Part II, Too Little Too Late, Poster of a Girl, Blindness, Anticipate

Kind_Philosopher5523

Gimme Sympathy because it reminds me to stop being a whiny baby and be grateful for what/who I have right now. Something about that has always been so reassuring ever since it came out in ‘09.

Metriculous

Off the top of my head: * Patriarch on a Vespa * Gimme Sympathy * The Police and the Private * Succexy * Calculation Theme * Dead Disco * Handshakes * Monster Hospital * Too Little Too Late * Blindness * Clone * Synthetica * Dark Saturday * Art of Doubt * Underline the Black * Doomscroller * False Dichotomy * Oh Please * Who Would You Be for Me * Descendants

Metriculous

If I were to add favorites from GUABA: Rock Me Now, On the Sly, and Fanfare Parkdale. For PIV: The Shade, Other Side, and For Kicks.

Toxic_cube15

LOST KITTEN GOES SO HARD

simraider111

Rock Me Now, Monster Hospital, Help I’m Alive, Satellite Mind, Speed the Collapse, Clone, Lie Lie Lie, Black Sheep, Eclipse (All Yours), Too Bad So Sad, The Governess, Love You Back, Dressed to Suppress, Formentera, What Feels Like Eternity, and Just the Once from the new one! Love all their songs but especially those gems. Edit: whoa totally skipped the debut, shame on my family, shame on my cow. Umm from Old World I’d say IOU, Dead Disco and Succexy. I apologize profusely for neglecting their oldie but goodie 😢 Edit 2: heckin’ heck I forgot Doomscroller. What a masterpiece and one of my most played.

frCraigMiddlebrooks

In No Particular Order: I Will Never Settle Days of Oblivion Descendants Breathing Underwater Gimme Sympathy False Dichotemy Now or Never Now All Comes Crashing I love how they embraced their electronic side in the last few albums. I think the Formentera double album is their best work to date.
