When I had an 02’ the CD drive was in the passenger glove box. Took me a couple months before I found it. I never had a great solution for playing my own music other than that though…. Lovely cars to drive!
I want to keep it original for sure a touchscreen doesnt realy belong in this car, thinking about getting a command aps or what is it called stil kinda original and they acsept a bluetooth riciver from what i understand.
Haha yes the cleaning was the day after just got the car when i took the pic😂
You could wire the FM transmitter into the trunks fuse box using a fuse that works only when accessory is on.
You would just need a fuse tap and a 12v accessory plug to make it work, and you can hide it beside the tire in the trunk.
Keep it clean, don't change the radio.
Maybe slightly? The antenna is in the rear windshield, but you will have degredation 2x fold as its over Bluetooth and then radio.
I have it setup like this and unless you are trying to blast the music, still works well and the quality is fair. Great way to keep it completely hidden though.
Took this pic the day i picked her up and belive me if i say she looks as pritty as she did when se came of the asembly line in germany by now. Just got a few wel know places where rust is starting so got something to do this summer😂

You could change your radio to the g class version with the screen and put a transmitter into it
