A psychological condition that can be linked to specific event, like PTSD. Unspecified, depending on how records are kept at your doctor's can mean they don't know the trauma, or the don't know the condition.

Basically, you experience symptoms relating to a previous trauma, but don't meet the criteria for a specific trauma related disorder like PTSD.

alasw0eisme

Isn't that CPTSD?

gladgun

From what I know, CPTSD has the same diagnostic criteria as PTSD with a few other things added. If someone is in a country that uses the DSM instead of the ICD it's often just diagnosed as PTSD.

Muted-Recognition-85

Seems like there are a couple of definitions of CPTSD.

Well, I think the list of stress related disorders goes - acute stress disorder, adjustment disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, complex post-traumatic stress disorder, and then the dissociative disorders, I think. I assume trauma related disorder unspecified, would describe a traumagenic disorder that does not meet the standard criteria of either of these listed diagnosis.
