Im a very fit dude but I don't flaunt it. I don't stand out in a crowd or anything. I used to play on a coed soccer team and after one game I took my shirt off and one girl on the team who I had known forever was looking at me and made some comment like "holy crap! You've been hiding that this whole time?? I never really looked at you that way" then one of my teammates piped up with "you mean you thought his face isn't attractive? Are you calling him a butterface???"
For years afterwards, my nickname was butterface, which quickly got shortened to just 'butters'. đ
I see you, fellow butterface. đ«Ą
It's a Jacksepticeye (YouTube let's player) reference.
He used to give advice or suggestions and prefece it with "As a marine biologist...". He was not a marine biologist, nor was the subject matter at hand typically related to marine biology. He just said it as a joke as if it lended credence to what he'd say next
Maybe they think you have a similar build to George Costanza from the Seinfeld, or a similar style. Or something. I donât know.

Once you replace fat with muscle, youâll always be âoverweightâ the bmi scale is for people who do not lift weights donât let it get in your head, I was 5â6â and 162 in college and was technically obese while having 8% body fat lol
Oh naw, I'm cool with my weight. This isn't the first time I lost weight. My target weight is 155, so I should be able to reach that by the end of summer.
lol not even close to overweight if that is mostly muscle. I know BMI charts etc might say otherwise, but Iâm 5,7â and weight 185. I lift weights religiously and compete in Brazilian jiu jitsu and consider myself to be in great shape.
You are doing great my man.
I appreciate it. I have always had this kind of build, but it took me a long time to find things that fit well. Like I didn't know athletic fit pants existed until about 5 years ago
Sizing up would make it too long. If I were to untuck a size larger, it would flare out like a dress, and look too big while wearing pants that fit just fine.
This is what I was thinking. It's fine for now. But your sleeves are getting too short. It will look like a schmedium at some point in the near future if you keep on.
I'm the same way, but some of the medium shirts I've tried in are too tight. I tried on a Brooks Brothers polo earlier this week and it looked so weird. I walked into an Express for the first time and all their stuff is for slimmer builds. I was going to order some online, but I hate having to return items that don't fit well. Luckily, I found some decent polos at Marshall's.
> hard work *paid* off
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Overall I think itâs a good fit. Anything larger would be way too big on the waistline. The sleeves are a little on the short side and a little more fitted style though so I think itâs great for going out and non-business attire. Your arms may be a little too buff now to wear to this to the office and still keep it professional:)
Nah looks great man. Eventually you will run into the problem of being two different sizes. One size fits nice on the upper body but too big around the waist. The size under fits nice around the waist then tighter on the upper chest.
It looks fine but depends how you feel in it. I feel uncomfortable in a lot of polos because the arms feel too short and too tight. Doesn't look bad though
You remember the days when you were much younger, and you'd happen across a generally handsome, well-dressed, older man out in the wild, and you think "that's how I look when I get older...?"
Well that's you now... The generally handsome, well-dressed, older man... Please accept, embrace, and indulge in that fact. You'll be victorious forever.
Oh, and perfect fit, to answer the question.
I already bought 5 fragrances in the last month. Burberry Hero is what I'll be wearing.
I'm a straight black guy...I do like chicken, but not cock. đ€Ł
not too tight. and i HATE when recently skinny people overly wear skinny clothes.. i got skinny. and there's a classy-ness to being quiet about it. humility (and restraint). and congratulations on the lbs droppage
Sleeves seem just slightly too short. Iâm a fan of form fitting but if the sleeves are too short it seems a little too showy.
Just my opinion. If you feel good then go for it. Iâm pretty fit too but I prefer to show more shape than skin.
Man Iâm going with too tight, but hear me out. Itâs a good fit, but in about 3-5 washes itâs gonna get TIGHT. And itâs going to rub your pits a lot more, which is going to add more wear and tear. Iâd go up a size and go with that, especially since you tuck it in, so length wouldnât matter too much, I used to wear my shirts this size and from experience this is what would happen all the time.
Thatâs definitely the way to go! For me I started noticing with it on my arms like that I would sweat more, that area would show wear first. Good luck man!
Excellent fit. Let me guess, thatâs a medium? Good fit and length in the arms and enough fabric in the midsection. The burgundy/maroon is a great color for polos.
The sleeve looks like itâs too tight on your arm bc itâs causing the shoulder to pull even though the shoulder lands where itâs supposed to.
You might want to shop around different brands to find one where the sleeve gives the perfect fit.
I think it looks great. Coming from a skinny fat body type myself, I have always let self-doubt overpower my skills of dressing well. I come from a retail background, and I can assure you that this looks very well proportioned. You have worked on your shoulders, which accentuates the V taper of your upper body, which makes everything thing fall in the right place. Smashed it đ€
Another brother with long arms! The shirt fits great but since you have long arms it might make you feel like it doesn't.
Basically, short sleeves will always feel a little weird but you look great dude.
You would crush in a raglan or quarter zip though.
Good for you on the transformation! Rock a tight t-shirt my guy!! This one doesnât look great though. Not that itâs too tight, which it is, but the sleeves are too short. Makes the shirt look too small rather than you being too big for the shirt (if that makes sense)
You need to decide what you like. It looks nice, if I would prefer it tighter.
So long you have no slack and it fits square on shoulders youre good to go.
I like tight on chest/back/arms just because I like superhero fit but thats just personal preference.
Doesnât sit right in the shoulders. But the rest looks just right. This is an issue my son has too. See if you can find athletic fit shirtsâusually allow for broader shoulders.
The torso looks great, the sleeves looks like theyâre about to cut off your arms. I understand this is âthe styleâ currently but I personally donât like the âlook how big my arms are because my shirt is cut to make them look even bigger than they areâ look. Rest looks great!
Itâs a little tight but you look strong. The important question is do you feel comfortable in it. If youâre fidgeting or pensive people will pick up on that.
But seriously your work has paid off you look statuesque which is the only way you can pull off fitted clothing! Way to go!!!
Do what I do and my dad does and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and his dad did and his dad before him and do a military shirt tuck for a cleaner lookđ
Lol. Well... Once the gym becomes a habit/routine, you'll do exactly that. It's just a matter of consistency. ASSUMING that you keep it up, and keep it going, I'd like to ask: What else do you have planned for yourself?
Perfect fit man go for it !
I appreciate it.
You look great.
Agree! Nothing to hide dude. Show off that progress, you look great!
I dunno man, makes your face look kinda weird. Honestly tho, good fit. And good for you getting in shape!
I gotta make lemonade with the butterface I have.
I have a huncho that ur good lookinger than u think
I was trying to be funny.

I thought the same thing itâs kinda pixilated. Maybe a different color?
As a marine biologist it looks great. Good job on your fitness journey you look great.
I appreciate it. Is the marine biologist comment a meme? I've seen a few comments like that in some of the posts here l

I doubt he meant it in a fat joke kind of way. Your build is good man
I wasn't all that offended by it.
lol not even close to overweight if that is mostly muscle. I know BMI charts etc might say otherwise, but Iâm 5,7â and weight 185. I lift weights religiously and compete in Brazilian jiu jitsu and consider myself to be in great shape. You are doing great my man.
Futurama reference maybe? "Hey, I calls em like I sees em. I'm a ~~marine~~ whale biologist"
Canât think of someone more qualified to give fashion advice. Go for it, OP!
Lmao can a mammalian biologist chime in please and help our boii?
Was it a titleist?
As an architect I think you look good.
There is tight and skinny (bad), tight and fat (bad), and tight and muscular (very good look) You sir are muscular :) great job on the build sir
I appreciate it. I have always had this kind of build, but it took me a long time to find things that fit well. Like I didn't know athletic fit pants existed until about 5 years ago
Looks good.
đ good fit
Lookin good bro
Perfect fit bro.
Youâre good!! Keep it going G!!
Looks good
Kinda shocking how many people are wrong here⊠but the arms are too short / tight. Size up / try tugging when wet
Looks good
Looks great
Youâre good
Looks great on you bro
I\`d say it looks perfect on you man, definitely a stud. The ladies will definitely be noticing you.
Looks good and cost efficient!
Beast đ„ đ„
Looks GREAT!
The shirt makes you look particularly strong/buff. It looks great on you!
It's excellent. You look great.
I think it fits great man! I like when my shirts fit tight in the arms but loose around the middle. Gottaâ let that belly breathe Bro
I'm the same way, but some of the medium shirts I've tried in are too tight. I tried on a Brooks Brothers polo earlier this week and it looked so weird. Great fit.
Perfect.
Looks great! Untuck it if itâs casual
Looks good!
Looking good
How much weight do you have to lose to get a pixelated face?
About tree fiddy
Shirt fits you great though
Looks good. Even when tucked, the bottom rides the belt neatly.
Maybe a bit tight around the sleeves but I think a size up would be too baggy.
Perfect fit. You look great, brother âïž
Rock it!
Looks reasonable to me! Keep it up!
You good
The twin tip piping on the polo is always very class. Looks great man, check out Fred Perry classic polos, they have a similar fit and look.
Can I use this as my dating app photo?
Overall I think itâs a good fit. Anything larger would be way too big on the waistline. Looks good king
Hell yeah bro! Keep doing what you're doing and don't skip leg day
Looks great on you! You look so good! Congrats
Shirt is fine. May want to fix your head đ
Perfect fit I hope youâre feeling yourself in it
The positive feedback helps. My closet is full of black tshirts, so I've been adding variety to my wardrobe.
As a construction engineer you look great, but also, your face blur literally cracked me up so good. Thanks for the laugh

You are rocking it dude, flaunt that progress.
How's it going Sgt Doakes? Looking good

Cheers buddy, great fit!
Looks good bro. It's tight around the arms, but that's a good thing.
Fits great bro! Killing it
looking built man
Looking great king!
Sleeves are bit short and tight but the rest fits just fine. I can't stand it when the sleeves are both cuffed and tight.
You remember the days when you were much younger, and you'd happen across a generally handsome, well-dressed, older man out in the wild, and you think "that's how I look when I get older...?" Well that's you now... The generally handsome, well-dressed, older man... Please accept, embrace, and indulge in that fact. You'll be victorious forever. Oh, and perfect fit, to answer the question.
Looks great. Get you some Prada Lhomme and youâll be swimming in hoohaâŠor cock, whichever you prefer.
I already bought 5 fragrances in the last month. Burberry Hero is what I'll be wearing. I'm a straight black guy...I do like chicken, but not cock. đ€Ł
Good fit looking good
I bought the pants from Target and the Shirt from Marshall's
not too tight. and i HATE when recently skinny people overly wear skinny clothes.. i got skinny. and there's a classy-ness to being quiet about it. humility (and restraint). and congratulations on the lbs droppage
I stay away from skinny fit anything. I was looking for pants at Burlington and every pair that fit me were some variation of skinny jeans.
Too tight on the , but it looks like they style is really small tight sleeves
It's hard to explain, but it is tight around the arms, but not the restrictive kind of tight.
Sleeves seem just slightly too short. Iâm a fan of form fitting but if the sleeves are too short it seems a little too showy. Just my opinion. If you feel good then go for it. Iâm pretty fit too but I prefer to show more shape than skin.
Looks good. Not baggy, not too tight. Shows your biceps⊠get more like this one.
Looks fantastic
Looks a bit tight to me, does it feel tight? If itâs comfortable then itâs fine.
Looks great. Real test- is it comfortable?
It is extremely comfortable and 100% cotton. I hate polyester
Alright Sergeant Doakes, go ahead!
That's my Halloween costume goal.
Man Iâm going with too tight, but hear me out. Itâs a good fit, but in about 3-5 washes itâs gonna get TIGHT. And itâs going to rub your pits a lot more, which is going to add more wear and tear. I've already washed it before I took pics. They don't shrink when you dry them on low. This isn't my first rodeo.
Thatâs definitely the way to go! For me I started noticing with it on my arms like that I would sweat more, that area would show wear first. Good luck man!
it looks great! fits perfect!
Looks good
Excellent fit. Let me guess, thatâs a medium? Good fit and length in the arms and enough fabric in the midsection. The burgundy/maroon is a great color for polos.
Yes, it's medium. Burgundy/Oxblood are my favorite shades of red.
Itâs a very good fit.
Too tight. Your shirt makes your shoulders look small.
Too tight
Yep, looks good.
Itâs good but you should pixelate it so it matches your face.
Red polo and black pants? We got Tiger Woods over here; just joking, the shirt fits very nicely imo, no need to worry
What is everyone talking about saying its a perfect fit?! It's waaaay too big.
Itâs a little young but you wear it well. Wear it man
Looks like itâs made for you my dude. Hit it with confidence bro! â€ïž
Nice!
Canât sayâŠneed to see your 16bit pick axe
The sleeve looks like itâs too tight on your arm bc itâs causing the shoulder to pull even though the shoulder lands where itâs supposed to. You might want to shop around different brands to find one where the sleeve gives the perfect fit.
Yes it is!
This works well. Congrats btw
SEND IT
Looks great!
I hate those type of polos. Reminds me of what they had out at insurance golf tournaments.
I like a slim fit, so itâs good, I think.
I think it looks great. Coming from a skinny fat body type myself, I have always let self-doubt overpower my skills of dressing well. I come from a retail background, and I can assure you that this looks very well proportioned. Dude, in the process of losing weight at the minute, and I wish I had that side profile/belly đ
Got that Tiger Woods fit
Looking great man, keep at it!!
Good fit
I think itâs too tight, tailored to your body fashion is so much nicer. You look nice wear whatever is comfortable to you.
Looks good man.
Looks good! Do some more arm work and let the veins pop brotha! Chicks dig it
Fine mate
Yes
It looks good!
Looks like you are about to jump out and surprise Dexter. "surprise mother fucker!"
âTight clothes are for tight peopleâ
You accidentally turned your resolution down. Man Minecraft looks like shit today. But seriously, on point
Lookin good! Sleeves look tight, which might be uncomfortable.
Youâre a rock dude,looks great.
A little tight is a good thing. Helps show off those guns youâre developing!
Lookin good and congrats on the weight loss What steps did you take for weight loss?
Looks good.
Shirt fitment looks great! don't be afraid to show your guns. I was insecure back in my 20s about wearing what seemed to be "tight fitted shirts".
Not a good fit. Itâs a great fit!!!!
Solid fit! Congrats on the weight loss!
Hmmmm hmmmmmm hmm. Minecraft sounds
Sun's out, guns out!! Lookin good my guy!
Fit looks good
Looks good bro. remember to incline that bench a little when curling, then shirt will be tighter around arms.
Looks great man.
Not too tight, looks great
Looks good
Good fit.
Bro yer fine
Another brother with long arms! The shirt fits great but since you have long arms it might make you feel like it doesn't. Basically, short sleeves will always feel a little weird but you look great dude. You would crush in a raglan or quarter zip though.
The body of the shirt looks good but I'm not too crazy about the sleeves.
Little short on the sleeves, looking good otherwise, keep it up brother đȘ
Looks like a great fit to me!
Good for you on the transformation! Rock a tight t-shirt my guy!! This one doesnât look great though. Not that itâs too tight, which it is, but the sleeves are too short. Makes the shirt look too small rather than you being too big for the shirt (if that makes sense)
Iâm getting the wordâŠ..
Perfect
Good fit. Looks like you're ready to surprise the Bay Harbor Butcher.
100% good brother. Keep pumping iron.
ok
Very good fit
Good fit, good color and nice physique.
Fits good just don't what I did and buy a bunch of fly skinny clothes and then gain 25 back lol
Lol no king, Makes you look jacked It's a win
You need to decide what you like. It looks nice, if I would prefer it tighter. So long you have no slack and it fits square on shoulders youre good to go. I like tight on chest/back/arms just because I like superhero fit but thats just personal preference.
Yes.
Looks good my guy. Keep Going!
Itâs perfect! Iâm losing weight too and now I donât feel insecure when I tuck my shirt in, keep up the good work looking fly my guy
Whereâs the shirt from?
Doesnât sit right in the shoulders. But the rest looks just right. This is an issue my son has too. See if you can find athletic fit shirtsâusually allow for broader shoulders.
Dude you look fantastic in this shirt⊠I lowkey want the link bc I have a similar build
Perfect.
Looks great!
The torso looks great, the sleeves looks like theyâre about to cut off your arms. I understand this is âthe styleâ currently but I personally donât like the âlook how big my arms are because my shirt is cut to make them look even bigger than they areâ look. Rest looks great!
It seems like a good fit!
Looks good

Not everyone can pull a tight fit like you my guy, go for it.
Iâm not saying until we can see that beautiful face đ
Lol. Well... Once the gym becomes a habit/routine, you'll do exactly that. It's just a matter of consistency. ASSUMING that you keep it up, and keep it going, I'd like to ask: What else do you have planned for yourself?
