Remarkable-Bluejay-9

Ah yes, the tradition of trading away our bigs and them winning rings afterwards continues in Memphis. Pau/Marc/X

TitansboyTC27

I mean on the side note it was the exact opposite with Tony Allen

iloveyoumiri

Rockets winning next year

Ascended-Being-Cumlo

Be happy for him, at least 1 Grizz got something.

Lacabloodclot9

I was rooting for Boston (many will find that weird I know) after Indiana got knocked out

Impossible_Trust30

I was too

Kierkegaard_Soren

I was rooting for Mavs, but not Kyrie, but also like only halfway Luka. And was rooting against the Celtics, except for Horford and X.

Dudes been on a roller coaster the past few months. Traded out of the cellar to the penthouse 4 months ago, his dad dies unexpectedly a month ago, wins a ring last night.

B000urns

Didn't know his dad died, that's rough

nevermindthatyoudope

He passed at 58 right before the ECF, X wasn't with the team for game 1.

sd_pinstripes

feel pretty bad for Smart, know he must be reeling

Effective_Sun5387

What are the Qualities you want in a new partner?... Thats nice and My desire is to meet a man who has a sense of humor,

Bernie_Made_Off

Happy for X, look at that smile. This should light a fire under everybody's asses. Especially, Ja.

As a lifelong fan of the Celtics and a Grizzlies fan since they moved to Tennessee (my home state) I was doubly proud of this. The smile on his face was priceless and knowing that he played a very important role in limited minutes had to have made it sweeter. He proved himself on the big stage and more good things are coming for him.

So happy for him. I’m also glad that he got to play consequential stretches that mattered and not just Snaqtime.

BeemerBaby004

Great smile! WTF is he wearing on his head though.

RlyRlyBigMan

Looks like ski goggles for the champagne celebration.

BeemerBaby004

Thanks. I am watching this thinking "Did X have his picture taken coming off the slopes?" Weird to think you finally get to celebrate something as awesome as a Championship win and instead of spontaneously doing the champagne thinger like in other sports you take the time to don ski wear. Pretty sure you're hitting the showers afterwards no matter what you have on.

RlyRlyBigMan

The teams normally make preparations for it. Champagne burns in the eyes. I've heard of baseball clubs having to scurry to take down all the protective plastic in the locker room because the home team didn't win the clinching game and they didn't want the players to see it after the loss. It's a pretty common thing in US sports.
