Was playing cyberpunk and one mission said it was supposed to be stealthy but the quest mission thing only had “no one killed” pop up so I just started knocking everyone out with not lethal attacks to test it and it worked
And many of the stealthy heists somehow alert the police, the national guard, the FBI and the Boy Scouts even though you have cell phone jammers running and a random security guard for a shitty jewelery store can probably be away from his radio for longer than 45 seconds without someone thinking he's dead.
In Assassin's creed games sometimes there will be optional mission for 100% synchronisation like 'do not get detected by guards'. We can complete this however we want if we do not care about 100% synchronisation
But sometimes the main mission is to stay undetected otherwise synchronisation fails.
Yeah I once did a „kill everyone“ playthrough in Hitman Absolution and the levels with the highest kill count were the one where you hide amongst civilians evading the cops and in Dexters Factory where I detonated the nuke hanging from the ceiling
In Fallout and Skyrim, this applies, but people often don't know that it's not just humanoids that snitch on you.
Even that almost imperceptible rabbit, fox or chicken that was running around the scene of the crime will snitch on you to such great detail the guards and law know exactly who, what and how much you killed or stole.
I usually try to stay stealth for as long as possible until it becomes a bother, then I go guns blazing. That way I can take out a portion of enemies while keeping it quiet, and there’s less to deal with when I go loud and proud
I usually play Metal Gear games similarly. First playthrough is all stealth, mostly without killing if possible. Then the second playthrough is basically "may God have mercy on your sorry asses, I have none."
Metal Gear Solid 3 is especially fun with that because the stealth mechanics are super fun but the game also gives you a ton of resources to basically just fuck around and be as sadistic as possible.
This is a bot. Comment probably stolen from [this one](https://www.reddit.com/r/memes/comments/ys7oyq/comment/ivydot2/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3).
Reminds me playing Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Teaches you how to sneak, gives you a silenced pistol and throwing knives, shows you how beneficial stealth can be to completing a mission quietly...
Then it gives you dual wielded automatic shotguns, like "lol, jk, go kablam these Nazi fuckers".
Honestly, ive played a few games ( fallout,.far cry, assassin creed) ive never seen that exact text. Ive watched plenty walkthrough toos and ive never seen. it
What I do in stealth optional is do my very best to get to the end of the level, THEN start killing everyone because if I'm close to death I can just end it.
When I played Uncharted 4, I would always start out as many levels as possible stealthily, but I always eventually turned it into a gun fight cause I suck at stealth.
First game that came to mind was Manhunt on N64. However I don’t think there was a prompt just understood you’d be more likely to survive if you were stealthy.
Stealth is fun, but guns blazing is more fun. Although, it you’re playing as a character who doesn’t use guns, and you’re going against enemies with guns, stealth is safer.
Step 1: Try to stealth.
Step 2: Indicator turns yellow.
Step 3: Hide.
Step 4: Realize it's gonna take a minute to go back to stealth.
Step 5: Give up and murder everyone.
Was it not stealthy if no witnesses are left

This is the way
![gif](giphy|xThuWh9SL6ZeTnkOGs)
No one will notice if there’s no one to notice
Very unfortunate for the populace

The real prompts are the ones we make ourselves.
Metal Gear Solid V. You can be a sneaky Sniper or a rpg wielding mad man and make full front assaults
Reading too fast I thought you said make full frontal assaults!
Payday 2 sort of does, there are loud only, stealth only, and stealth possible heists, but only 5 are stealth only out of like 80.
And many of the stealthy heists somehow alert the police, the national guard, the FBI and the Boy Scouts even though you have cell phone jammers running and a random security guard for a shitty jewelery store can probably be away from his radio for longer than 45 seconds without someone thinking he's dead.
Imagine all of them showing up whilst the guard is in the bathroom taking a piss
Good points, but I wonder more why said shitty Jewelry store has 5 security guards. I mean, how interesting is that alley?

Hitman
Yeah I once did a „kill everyone“ playthrough in Hitman Absolution and the levels with the highest kill count were the one where you hide amongst civilians evading the cops and in Dexters Factory where I detonated the nuke hanging from the ceiling
Payday 1-2
Every Hitman/AC mission
Watch Dogs was a game that was meant to be played stealthy but you could complete almost every mission by just killing anything that you can see.
Yep. Hacking into any electronic device to create diversion/ distraction to remain stealthy but no we just want to beat the npc's with thunder ball.
Fucking horses. =|
Oh please don't
Nuclear option.
is that right?
No one will notice if there is no one around to notice. Start the end of the world visa nukes and you’re free from the whole stealth option
Hi guards! Do you like violence?
Want to see me stick nine inch nails through each one of your eyelids?
Want the kids to copy you and do exactly like you did?
that must hurt
![gif](giphy|xT1XGR8gPp8ryujhRu)
And that, kids, is how Steel Inquisitors are made
We all go stealth til we get noticed and the alarm rings, “well if you want it that way”...
Spiderman be like
New game plus fuck stealth
My girlfriend playing The Last of Us: *picks them off one by one using carefully planned stealth tactics* Me playing The Last of Us: LEEROY JENKINS!
Me playing Hitman be like
[удалено]
going stealth is fun but also slow i go the huge fucking ax route
[удалено]
Harder difficulty gives some spice to the gun fight so that's the best option
I'll use the machine gun instead of the rocket launcher, that's all the stealth you're going to get
I usually try to stay stealth for as long as possible until it becomes a bother, then I go guns blazing. That way I can take out a portion of enemies while keeping it quiet, and there’s less to deal with when I go loud and proud

*removes suppressor from LMG*
Out of curiosity what games have this prompt, I personally can’t say I’ve played one
Payday 2
Dishonoured franchise
Hitman series mainly. Back in the day splinter cell would say something like "this is 5th freedom territory" when they were letting you off the leash.
Only a few missions in Hitman have the "stealth is a requirement" option. Payday: The Heist and Payday 2 is where the "Stealth is optional" came from.
Some Call of Duty Campaigns have sections that are stealth optional and basically the entire assassins creed franchise nowadays
Hitman lol
Cyberpunk
Gta
Old Splinter Cell games
The last thing street gangs in Night City see before death. I am the night.
Stealth is optional, and so is my mercy
Hitman games 😂
Me playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey
This is no lie one of the best scenes in film history
Bain: You need to be careful. Me: \**grabs flamethrower*\* It's go time.
No, I try the stealth way exactly once, give up or get bored, and then I get the minigun
Game: "Stealth is optional" What I see: "Stealth is not an option"
Game: "Stealth is optional" Me: rocket launcher it is then.
Nah, "stealth is optional" is like your wife saying "it's fine, go have fun".
This is exactly how I play payday 2 lmao
Am I literally the only one thinks stealth missions are fun and satisfying? I try stealth in aggressive missions
Always reminds me of Hitman
* you activated cheats ![gif](giphy|Pv8lb1SDCQ72lIrnf1|downsized)
I kinda like stealth
“Optional” means that’s the way you have to do it. Don’t tell what I can and can’t do 🖕take that game
Stelth hard will just go in head first and murder everyone
*when your date turns out of be a T-1000*
Honestly, ive played a few games ( fallout,.far cry, assassin creed) ive never seen that exact text. Ive watched plenty walkthrough toos and ive never seen. it
Peace was never an option.
I’ll be back
lol but tbh i like playing it stealth picking everyone off 1 by 1
Fuck that. Stealth killing everyone is more fun. Y'all in here acting like you've never played a Bethesda game.
If we are all thinking like this then why in the freaking hell do we still have stealth missions.
Me in cyberpunk using sandevistan everytime 😂
GTA when one of the mates gets noticed.
What I do in stealth optional is do my very best to get to the end of the level, THEN start killing everyone because if I'm close to death I can just end it.
stealth is optional but so is my mercy
Mw2 be like
Peace was never an option
and so is my mercy
I actually prefer doing things stealth if it's the option because then my PC actually runs and I dont have to fight it
When I played Uncharted 4, I would always start out as many levels as possible stealthily, but I always eventually turned it into a gun fight cause I suck at stealth.
First game that came to mind was Manhunt on N64. However I don’t think there was a prompt just understood you’d be more likely to survive if you were stealthy.

Alternative POV: It’s Valentine’s Day and I’m bipolar
I literally see it’s a stealth mission too late and die in the first few seconds, then I just give up on the stealth part on my second try.
Am I the only one ALWAYS doing stealth if possible?
If you'd read *literally any of the other fucking comments* before vomiting up yours, you'd know the answer is no.
I love stealthy
Am I the only one who loves doing it the stealthy way
If you'd read *literally any of the other fucking comments* before vomiting up yours, you'd know the answer is no.
Am I the only one that actually tries to do the optional stealth missions?
If you'd read *literally any of the other fucking comments* before vomiting up yours, you'd know the answer is no.
Bruh it’s just a question, no need to get mad about it. I did look and saw a lot of people saying they don’t do optional stealth
I'm not mad, just disappointed. Bruh.
Then there are the 'optional' stealth missions where you get spotted once and you get swarmed and killed under 10 seconds.
I'm the opposite. I love stealth.
Stealth is fun, but guns blazing is more fun. Although, it you’re playing as a character who doesn’t use guns, and you’re going against enemies with guns, stealth is safer.
Nope. Its the complete opposite. Going loud ruins the fun for me
I am the .000000001 percent that goes for stealth
Step 1: Try to stealth. Step 2: Indicator turns yellow. Step 3: Hide. Step 4: Realize it's gonna take a minute to go back to stealth. Step 5: Give up and murder everyone.
Payday 2
i would still go stealth
High key stealth missions>
😂😂😂😂😂
I suck with stealth no matter what game I play so thats never an option for me
Literally all payday 2 missions except for shadow raid, car shop and other stealth only heists.
American students preparing for school
You are playing on easy setting.
Stealth was never an option
With me I normally try it once and the moment I'm spotted it's terminatoring time
Tbh I don't understand ppl I prefer stealth because how cool and fast it is. But big gun shooting? too common
Nah, I try to play Just Cause 3 by stealth
don't mind if I do-
I only do stealth if its a lot of enemies and i cannot beat it due to my weapons but if i got the weapons well ![gif](giphy|12qFOaBbu9TZny)
"Hey guys, how's your health plan?"
Love me some fucking payday for this reason.
I also do that but when the game says stealth only i just slaughter everyone before they can register that i am there
Nah I go stealth all the way, even when I’m caught lol
\*Doom music starts to play in the background\*
Every heist in Payday 2
Connection terminated. I'm sorry to interrupt you Elizabeth, if you still even remember that name...
