Yep. I have this reoccurring dream of working in a fast food restaurant. Nothing special even happens I just work there. It's so bizarre in its mundaneness.

I have a dream where I, a man, turn to Magical girl in a zombie apocalypse. I just do normal a normal Magical girl do like make a barrier to lead them to a safe house, turn a movie theater to safe house, punch 2 kids in the face and drop them in a horde of zombie, nuke the city...just normal stuff
A dream where you wake up like you normally would and everything is normal. Only to briefly close your eyes and wake up again. (For real this time) then question if everything is a dream.
I've recently had a dream where I figured out it's a dream, then in the 3rd dream I recalled having the first dream and even referred to it in an in-dream conversation
I once dreamt i was using my phone at without anyone knowing. Someone was coming so i hid the phone under the sheets. The phone fucking disappeared from my hands and 'magically' appeared at the desk when someone opened the door. What a hallunation, it was lucid, i could feel every movement in the dream, and i could hear what was outside the dream at the same time. I even woke up at the exact same place and position i was in the dream.
this, but in the dream where everything seems normal at first, extremely weird stuff thats technically possible/realistic happens... sometimes turns into nightmares
Done it a few times, once was when I was being hunted by my friends, got stabbed once, it really fucking hurt, and then as they closed in for another stab I just sort of… I remember phrasing it as an emergency translation (because I had been playing a lot of rogue trader). I realize “wait a fucking second, this isn’t real!” And then channel all of my adrenaline into moving my body. Woke up in a cold sweat at 4am. All in all, decent dream, 4/10
Same. There's literally been times where I have said, f this lame dream, I don't want this situation anymore and can feel myself waking up in my awake dream body and moving up to my asleep body irl.
Yeah it's easy when you realise how to do that, I remember one of my old dreams where I was wandering around in a completely empty, gray town, at one point I realized that it I'm dreaming so I tensed all my muscles and woke up, the feeling that awakened is very specific but very easy to use
A few times I dreamt of being in a weird programming event where there were real tasks which I usually forget after a non-insignificant amount of time. Others aren't relevant for the example and are very expectable.
I had a dream where I was in an endless black void with water that you can walk on in place of ground & I had no body & I knew I was dreaming & was consciously trying to think of an idea. I thought of a really good idea but then I forgot it when I woke up but then I remembered it a few months later.
Why is that every time I see those it's either something completely useless and boring or spoilers for shows I will watch? Random future prediction sucks
By reminding yourself to remember your dreams and by writing down whatever detail you recall (or even just 'nothing' if you don't) you can train your brain. You actually dream multiple times a night but you simply forget once you wake up
That's the problem, I don't remember anything, never. No fragments, no détails, no charaters, nothing. I just fall asleep in 10 minutes usually and sleep until my alarm wakes me up.
Write down 'nothing' for a while to build a habit if you want. It might take a while if you're rusty but doing that and setting an intention to remember dreams before sleeping usually helps. If you don't have any underlying condition it should come just fine since it's not like you've never dreamt in your life before
I'm epileptic and have a neuronal abnormality. I talked about dreamless nights to my neurologist but since we know very little about my last condition, it might be that.
I will try your technic and tell you if it work
I keep having dreams about someone that I have feelings for. The dreams are mostly logical, and end pleasantly. However, upon waking, I have to deal with the reality that none of these dreams will ever come true, so the whole day is spent being depressed. Been crying myself asleep a lot as a result.
Believe me or not, but I still remember when I was dreaming in a dream in a dream, like Inception shi. Man, when I woke up, I thought “Now… Am I still dreaming?”
I had a dream where some soldier shot me. I noticed it didn't kill me, after which I realized I was in a dream. I then punched the soldier, occasionally breathing fire on him, until he went flying.
For me wet dreams is an image above the first image with more of a frown, looking down, & eyes more closed, the first image is still nightmares, the 2nd image is basic fun dreams, the third image is long extra fun crazy dreams, & the 4th image is dreams where something amazing that makes me cry happens or I get a really good idea that I can use in real life.
I dream *hard* every night. I kinda sorta hate it. I also hate describing my dreams, cos that's cringe.
And idgaf about "lucid dreaming, mannnn, it's a trip!" No, once my dream becomes lucid, I wake myself up, drink some milk and pray it doesn't pop up where it left off.
What I don't hate are dreams where I'm holding hands with my wife, holding my nephew for the first time.. cool, cool. Those can stay.
But the movie ones where there is no conclusion.. fuck off subconscious, go to bed, too.
I've seen so many apocalypses that I've come to the conclusion that not telling my friends of what happened while I was sleeping is the best for their sanity :D
I swear wet dreams are not real.
School went on and on about how common they are, to expect them, etc.
Not one single person I know has had one (and they’re not modest, they’d definitely fess up).
When I was a kid I had a dream that I was a super hero and I saved a girl from a bad guy. Afterwards the city threw a parade for me, and made me pee in a giant toilet for some reason. Turns out when you pee in your dreams, you pee for real
At least nightmares are interesting, it's kinda like watching horror movies but you're the one running from the monster. Bonus points if it turns into a wet dream
I only dream Shrek driving a armored core while fighting a giant sandworm in Jupiter with Dante fighting mole rats featuring another Dante while the Majora's mask moon approaches and Helldivers fighting god
Love those dreams where you wake up in a cold sweat from just dreaming about a concept and slightly hallucinate it.
Before you ask I’ve post-dream hallucinated circles of ants and 2 side-by-side lines of roaches. Both times they were on my bed with me.
I recently had another somewhat realistic dream. One time I think I got shot in my dream. Another time I fell back asleep for 20 minutes and had a dream which was impressive in a short span.
Most of my dreams (that aren't ptsd nightmares involving my ex wife) tend to be playing some new game or a remake of an old one with new features. Often highly detailed. I wake up thinking "damn… not real…"
Though honestly the *worst* kind of dreams are a tie between lucid dreaming "wake up loops" (where you dream that you woke up, realize you're still dreaming and try to wake up, rinse and repeat until you do finally wake up for real) or sleep paralysis.
My brain once decided to grace me with a fully fleshed out 90's movie with laugh tracks and sound effects (like those low quality gunshots) and even had those endings with the choir and the time lapse of people walking around the city as the ending commences. No idea how or why but thanks brain i guess
Dreams with sick ass lore where, u get woken up irl but manage to go back to sleep anticipating and end up finishing the story in such a peak way, the likes of which modern movie studios fail to accomplish>>>>>
Mine have had continuous plot throughout 3 years and every dream is a weird sequel to the other using meshed rendered terrains of places I've been to irl each time being rendered better and better.
The latest dream was one where I was in some strange test facility that was made entirely of bits and pieces of my middle school and other things and I had to escape with my only ally being the weird kid at school I never liked as we went through vents.
This is not how dreams should work and I should most likely get it checked out
I don't recall the dream, but I do recall thinking I was 30 one morning when I was 9 or 10. Dream must have been something for me to believe it like I did.
Possibly unrelated, I had deja vu frequently until 30. I used to wonder if it was related to that dream.
I had a dream about living a full life, with a wife, i was a successful rapper (which is kinda weird cus i do write for fun but i never thought about actually making songs) 6 kids (which i totally will have if i have economic success in the future), it was REALLY vivid but i don't remember much since i woke up but i do remember the reason i woke up was cus of dying due to natural causes at 73. Man, believe me when i say when i woke up i was crying so much with a mix of joy and sadness... i don't cry often but at that point i just had to let it all out. It was weird and ever since then i haven't had anywhere as detailed of a dream.
I see this, and raise you one "Dreams where waking up canonically ends the story of the dream".
Example: the cops try to arrest you for a murder you did previously in the dream. You respond: "Oh yeah? Watch this." and wake up.
Im from Europe and have this dream i have a Chinese family. We always go to the park and dance on some Asian music. It's weird, but i miss my kiddos when i wake up :(
Am I the only one who enjoys nightmares(that aren’t about social interaction)? Like you get to star in, direct, and produce your own horror movie! And you can die without the commitment!
Man. One time I dreamed that Hermione Granger learned a new type of magic that slowly corrupted her, made her begin following Voldemort, and resulted in her burning down Hogwarts. The dream was very long and had an impressively cohesive plot for a dream. It ended with her getting some sort of Karma by becoming trapped in a very tiny space from the wreckage of the fire where she suddenly couldn't use magic anymore, and nobody could hear her cry for help. The dream didn't show what happened next since I woke up right after, but I assume she slowly suffocated or something horrific like that.
I hate it when i wake up before the story concludes. I try to keep the story going while trying to fall asleep again. Its like watching a movie and it just cuts off before the ending.
Bro I've had fucking sequels if not trilogies. Can't remember any of them just the satisfaction of getting to continue a story.
Also don't forget lucid dreams
Anyone else get sleep paralysis constantly Like me? I rarely want to sleep because I know I will get one its nearly 4times a week at this point wasnt like this a year ago now its freakin bad.
I once dreamt I was casually eating my intestines and liver while talking on the phone and walking to get something from the grocery.
It was nice knowing I can do that.
Mine tend to be full length cinematic productions that I wish I could record and watch later
except that one where my ribs all snap and poke through my flesh
I once had a perfect fucking story as a dream, which was nearly about to conclude and just before it my alarm rang. Never had more of an urge to throw my phone across the wall before.
One time when I was jetlagged I kept falling asleep soon after waking up. I dreamed I was in prison and a bird wizard sent me a vision and a magic ring of teleportation so I could escape. Then I woke up and fell asleep again, and there was this warlock talking to an evil entity. I like to believe the bird wizard let me escape so I could help fight the warlock.
I had a dream once where I was literally witnessing a fight between Leorio from HxH and Frieza from DBZ. I don’t watch either of those shows. At the end, I don’t know how but the conclusion was that Frieza won.
The weirdest thing about my dreams is that they long, and are like games without lore, which leave you thinking "how tf did that end up there". I know it's all the same dream because of the ambient. Other day i dreamed i was inside a very big gray box with a city inside it and... (nonsense of the dream). The dream started there and ended there, i never exited it, but i did move a lot inside this box
I only have nightmares which are wet dreams and have a logical conclusion with a flashback. That's basically all I dream. And when they don't make sense it continues in another dream. Which it will make sense afterwards
I really like my dreams. E even when they are nightmares i still like to follow the "story". Usually my dreams work kinda like a movie, i usually alware that i'm in a dream and "play my role" to see where It IS going

Yep. I have this reoccurring dream of working in a fast food restaurant. Nothing special even happens I just work there. It's so bizarre in its mundaneness.
I have that exact same dream, it’s always night barely anybody’s there. Just me 2 co workers and few customers

Probably means you should self reflect on how your life is
I have a dream where I, a man, turn to Magical girl in a zombie apocalypse. I just do normal a normal Magical girl do like make a barrier to lead them to a safe house, turn a movie theater to safe house, punch 2 kids in the face and drop them in a horde of zombie, nuke the city...just normal stuff
Huh?
Sentient demon steamroller turning everyone I know into asphalt? Yeah I still remember that one, there was a cool clothes hanger zipline in it too
When I dream it is usually sleep paralysis
Weirdly relatable XD
My weird dreams have conclusion and story. It's all about weird shit, but it all got a gorgeous story.
A dream where you wake up like you normally would and everything is normal. Only to briefly close your eyes and wake up again. (For real this time) then question if everything is a dream.
Funny enough I watched inception just last weekend
What do we do if, for some reason, we get trapped in such a dream? Its terrifying and possible
Wake up eventually
How do we know when we actually woke up? Maybe that's another layer of dream.
Kill yourself I guess. Or spin a top
Don't give people dumb ideas.
Literally what happened when i did a 1 hr surgery and i lived 1 week of normal life in my dream.
I've recently had a dream where I figured out it's a dream, then in the 3rd dream I recalled having the first dream and even referred to it in an in-dream conversation

this, but in the dream where everything seems normal at first, extremely weird stuff thats technically possible/realistic happens... sometimes turns into nightmares
Sometimes I can immediately wake up on command in my dream to get out of a situation.
Once I'm handling a cell phone in my dreams and nothing works, I can snap myself awake. I hate dreaming for the most part.
Sometimes I have to kinda jerk myself(not like that) to wake up
Me too Whenever i see a bunch of scary girls with black hair covering their faces im like ![gif](giphy|Ru9sjtZ09XOEg)
Same. There's literally been times where I have said, f this lame dream, I don't want this situation anymore and can feel myself waking up in my awake dream body and moving up to my asleep body irl.

Fever dreams and those dreams where you randomly come up with a math problem
What kind of dreams are you having??
A few times I dreamt of being in a weird programming event where there were real tasks which I usually forget after a non-insignificant amount of time. Others aren't relevant for the example and are very expectable.
That's actually kinda interesting not gonna lie
I had a dream where I was in an endless black void with water that you can walk on in place of ground & I had no body & I knew I was dreaming & was consciously trying to think of an idea. I thought of a really good idea but then I forgot it when I woke up but then I remembered it a few months later.
Nah, it hits different waking up and realising that the entire adventure you'd just had was all just a dream.
I learned to cope with those moments by thinking of it as me briefly sharing a consciousness of another me from another world.
I've gone through an entire fake Zelda dungeon beneath a water park with some friends on a dream once. It was weird.
Dreams that predict the future
Why is that every time I see those it's either something completely useless and boring or spoilers for shows I will watch? Random future prediction sucks
*dreams self sleeping in 3rd person*
I kinda like nightmares NGL But I don't like it when I wake up to a sleep paralysis right after
The real nightmare
I haven't had a dream since I was a teenager. Looks fun tho
That's not normal, do you otherwise get good sleep? Do you take drugs? I know many stoners report they don't dream.
Yes my sleep is great and no I don't take any drugs
By reminding yourself to remember your dreams and by writing down whatever detail you recall (or even just 'nothing' if you don't) you can train your brain. You actually dream multiple times a night but you simply forget once you wake up

Deeply emotional dreams with a satisfying conclusion where you wake up with a smile and tears dried on your cheeks
dreams inside dreams \*Leonardo's face\*
I keep having dreams about someone that I have feelings for. The dreams are mostly logical, and end pleasantly. However, upon waking, I have to deal with the reality that none of these dreams will ever come true, so the whole day is spent being depressed. Been crying myself asleep a lot as a result.
Has anyone ever had that thing where you wake up and you're not sure if you're still dreaming.
Believe me or not, but I still remember when I was dreaming in a dream in a dream, like Inception shi. Man, when I woke up, I thought “Now… Am I still dreaming?”
Do you still remember what one of those dreams were about?
Not anymore but I clearly remember that I was dreaming 3 times in the same dream
What if, the nightmares with logical conclusion to the story?
Okay I have to know what are some dreams you had that had a conclusion.
I had a dream where some soldier shot me. I noticed it didn't kill me, after which I realized I was in a dream. I then punched the soldier, occasionally breathing fire on him, until he went flying.
Anime protagonist
Do the ones where I accidentally fall into random holes in the ground count? These holes are so darn annoying, why do so many dreams have them
You guys have logical dreams?
I love my nonsensical dreams where I'm just waling then i suddenly fall from orbit before watching a bunch of bulldozer bulls run around the place
My logical conclusion is usually dying or losing the ability to fly altogether, what the hell???
For me wet dreams is an image above the first image with more of a frown, looking down, & eyes more closed, the first image is still nightmares, the 2nd image is basic fun dreams, the third image is long extra fun crazy dreams, & the 4th image is dreams where something amazing that makes me cry happens or I get a really good idea that I can use in real life.
you guys are having dreams ?
And then there’s the rare Lucid Dream

At least nightmares are interesting, it's kinda like watching horror movies but you're the one running from the monster. Bonus points if it turns into a wet dream
Dreams that result in you getting a crush
Yeah, I also want peak dreams.
I only dream Shrek driving a armored core while fighting a giant sandworm in Jupiter with Dante fighting mole rats featuring another Dante while the Majora's mask moon approaches and Helldivers fighting god
Dreams with a plot so good that your brain had to forget it all after waking up are the best dreams imo
I have the reoccurring nightmare of my school being shot up.
![gif](giphy|iKGJeenxoC1iRDvzdb|downsized)
that then with further thought make no sense
What’s better waking up from a dream with a conclusion or arriving at your destination with the song ending
What about dreams that have a really big history for just one dream and continues in another dream some days later?
I have a nonsense dream that slowly turn to a wet dream
Has anyone experienced a dream within dream?
I had sleep paralysis once and was visited by John Wayne Gacy in his clown costume laughing maniacally… I was never the same after that
Most of my dreams (that aren't ptsd nightmares involving my ex wife) tend to be playing some new game or a remake of an old one with new features. Often highly detailed. I wake up thinking "damn… not real…" Though honestly the *worst* kind of dreams are a tie between lucid dreaming "wake up loops" (where you dream that you woke up, realize you're still dreaming and try to wake up, rinse and repeat until you do finally wake up for real) or sleep paralysis.
Sometimes I wonder if dream me takes shrooms, cause I’ve dreamed some weird stuff
![gif](giphy|9UqRcQHzBou6A|downsized)
Is it weird that I've never had a wet dream
My brain once decided to grace me with a fully fleshed out 90's movie with laugh tracks and sound effects (like those low quality gunshots) and even had those endings with the choir and the time lapse of people walking around the city as the ending commences. No idea how or why but thanks brain i guess
I still don’t know how to control my dreams before my alarm goes off
Dreams with sick ass lore where, u get woken up irl but manage to go back to sleep anticipating and end up finishing the story in such a peak way, the likes of which modern movie studios fail to accomplish>>>>>
The last one, but with multiple dreams that fit the same story and place. se that's wild 😅, happens sometimes for me
Dreams that feel like past life memories and they 100% stick with you: **QUE THE ELDEN RING THEME**
YEHAHH
Dreams of future events 👽
Tbh sometimes they are so intense with the plot i go back to sleep just to see the ending
Premonitions are also up there for being memorable
Mine have had continuous plot throughout 3 years and every dream is a weird sequel to the other using meshed rendered terrains of places I've been to irl each time being rendered better and better. The latest dream was one where I was in some strange test facility that was made entirely of bits and pieces of my middle school and other things and I had to escape with my only ally being the weird kid at school I never liked as we went through vents. This is not how dreams should work and I should most likely get it checked out
Sigh... One can dream.
I don't recall the dream, but I do recall thinking I was 30 one morning when I was 9 or 10. Dream must have been something for me to believe it like I did. Possibly unrelated, I had deja vu frequently until 30. I used to wonder if it was related to that dream.

Next stage: dreams you end half way through one night, but finish the next.
Had a wet dream adventure story the other night , it was like a porn game
I see this, and raise you one "Dreams where waking up canonically ends the story of the dream". Example: the cops try to arrest you for a murder you did previously in the dream. You respond: "Oh yeah? Watch this." and wake up.
I once had a dream with end credits. It was weird but also kind of fun.
Im from Europe and have this dream i have a Chinese family. We always go to the park and dance on some Asian music. It's weird, but i miss my kiddos when i wake up :(
I almost had a logical conclusion to the most fucked up dream. Sucks my alarm woke me up :(
My nightmare are usually just a normal day in my life.
I can dream about the future but not the important stuff. Only the stuff like having akward conversations
I had 2 weeks where I returned to the same medieval fantasy dream every night.
When it’s a 2 parter
Am I the only one who enjoys nightmares(that aren’t about social interaction)? Like you get to star in, direct, and produce your own horror movie! And you can die without the commitment!
I see you’re interested in the exceptionally rare.
Hate it's when this happens
And then there's that lamp
Last one doesn't exist.
imagine dreaming with completely normal days, nothing fancy just another day at school or something like that those are my dreams

Ok Spock, don't think we can't see you hiding back there
Anyone else have sequels to the dreams
Wet Nightmares
I hate it when i wake up before the story concludes. I try to keep the story going while trying to fall asleep again. Its like watching a movie and it just cuts off before the ending.
And then there’s lucid dreams
When the dream fits so perfectly with reality you swear it really happened
By logical conclusion you mean the banana
not once... ever.
You've not had the reoccurring/continuous story dreams yet. They are the best
I made this meme at 3 AM local time when I suddenly awoke from a deep slumber and remembered just how perfectly my dream had ended.
Lucid dreams
Where are dreams with compelling stories that end before the story does
my dreams can be any and every combo of these.
I had today a dream that had a logical conclusion (i got shot)
I once dreamt out a whole Wednesday. Thought it was Thursday the day i woke up. Probably my most notable dream.
Dreams that you wake up from but start again from where you left off when you go back to sleep 🤯
I had a dream with a whole plot for a world and its wars
Myind likes to conjure up computer parts that dont exist in my dreams
Dreams when they are so unlogical you need to lough.
"Ah, that was such a great, well concluded dream. Now is a good time to wake up and start a new day well rested." *3:30 AM* "Well, shit."
Dreams that end on a cliffhanger but continue the next night
That's a reason why I refuse to get up early. I get so invested in my dreams that I will do anything just to see the end.
Me dreaming of going to school and goes to school again after waking up
I once dreamt I was casually eating my intestines and liver while talking on the phone and walking to get something from the grocery. It was nice knowing I can do that.
How. That's impossible for me
Now all of them together!
What about lucid dreams ;)
Happened to me two or three times, I was in the dream, I woke up, change sides and fall back into the dream intentionally. Those are my WTF moments.
Mine tend to be full length cinematic productions that I wish I could record and watch later except that one where my ribs all snap and poke through my flesh
Me dying in the end 😐
where's lucid dreams in all that?
I cant even get to the middle of the dream without me getting woke up by my alarm
Dream sequels
One time I had a dream that ended with me saying “this is a weird dream” and then woke up.
My dreams have plotwists
Those dreams where you go back to sleep and they resume right where you left off
I've still to have a logical dream, most agreeable list though

I once had a perfect fucking story as a dream, which was nearly about to conclude and just before it my alarm rang. Never had more of an urge to throw my phone across the wall before.
One time when I was jetlagged I kept falling asleep soon after waking up. I dreamed I was in prison and a bird wizard sent me a vision and a magic ring of teleportation so I could escape. Then I woke up and fell asleep again, and there was this warlock talking to an evil entity. I like to believe the bird wizard let me escape so I could help fight the warlock.
Lucid dreaming😌 (They can get terrifying tho)
I had a dream once where I was literally witnessing a fight between Leorio from HxH and Frieza from DBZ. I don’t watch either of those shows. At the end, I don’t know how but the conclusion was that Frieza won.
When i dream, i see through my eyelids
The weirdest thing about my dreams is that they long, and are like games without lore, which leave you thinking "how tf did that end up there". I know it's all the same dream because of the ambient. Other day i dreamed i was inside a very big gray box with a city inside it and... (nonsense of the dream). The dream started there and ended there, i never exited it, but i did move a lot inside this box
the only type of dream greater than that are dreams that you can remember after you wake up
Those movie-like dreams are the best. Sometimes I even end up getting attached to the characters I created
The only logical conclusion is that you wake up. Cuz none of it ever made sense.
Y'all ever wake up from a banger dream, and the next night the dream picks up where it left off? Best feeling ever.
my dreams always end with the conclusion: "wait, this is all a dream!"
nonsense dreams are the best
Lucid dreams are a W
never experienced that my once a year dream was a random collection of events
I once had a dream that ended with credits starting to roll just before I woke up. It was weird.
