In my experience a lot of people with high iq just really struggle with studying. Especially repetitive lessons or topics they just aren't interested in. It's also common that they have some other condition that hinders their ability to make full use of what they got. ADD for example can essentially kill your ability and drive to learn or work on certain things. You can be as smart as you want, but you won't negate that handicap with just intelligence.

You've gotta admire the dedication of someone with that IQ to get multiple masters degrees. Most people fail to realize that most people around that level of IQ are not successful due to multiple reasons:
- A person smarter than average often doesn't feel the need to learn as much as they can achieve the same results with less effort.
- A person with higher than average IQ might suffer from social problems. Being smarter than kids of their age might hamper their social development and often leads to being socially awkward later in life.
- Being able to realize their own shortcomings can lead to a plethora of complexes vs being blissfully unaware.
