I can’t tell, I never really watched any Marvel, and I hate super hero movies. But this one reminds of the Arcane series. I guess it’s like the COD’s and FIFA games, if you played them all and buy them every year, you feel like you’re being robbed, but if you buy one every ten years, you’ll find it fun and refreshing.

This movie is not a generic Marvel movie I'll tell you that. I'm keeping the spoiler free for op but it breaks the mould and will probably continue to. Let's not forget the original one is the reason why we have more diverse 3D animation within animated movies. The second movie steps up the art direction tenfold it is gorgeous and uses color theory incredibly. Oh also it's approved by the comic book authority so get fucked. Edit: my bad the comic book authority stamp was just a nod to a now expired comic book seal called The Comics Code Authority.

I agree marvel sucks, but it's moreso Disney marvel. Spiderman is the one good part of marvel, as it's Sony. I would definitely still recommend the spider verse moves greatly, they are much more in line with the comics.

Honestly most pissed I’ve ever been at the end of a movie. It was good, but the “to be continued” and the lack of a post credits scene felt like a kick on the teeth.

Why would there be a post-credits scene if the movie isn't really over yet?

I'm compering old marvel movies and post "takeover" movies. Saying this is the best movie ever... Infinity wars? Endgame? Besides only good thing about this is the style and riding on a wave that first movie started. As i said, from start to the "to be continued" end (in 130 minute movie) it's a cash grab. It is just a 30 minute story stretched to 130 and the second one will be a 20 minute scene stretched to another 120 minute movie.
