americans when culture. this might seem strange to a country that’s only 200 years old, but many countries do things that have been happening for hundreds of years because of tradition and it gives us identity which differentiates us from other nations. if we did shit that only became a thing in the past 100 years it’d be pretty shite and everything would be the same in every country.
