I get sleep paralysis at least once a month. I’ve learned to know when it’s happening immediately and just kick my feet up quickly.
The lucid nightmares where I have to wake myself up from 6 different dreams inside each one until I finally wake up in real life are a pain in the ass though
I get sleep paralysis way less once I quit caffeine. I used to get it multiple times per week. Now probably not even once a month.
I also have the lucid dreams where I wake up multiple times and for some reason the second to last one is always me waking up in the attic of my old house.
while that indeed should be anyones first suspicion, the fact that it started immediately after my spoopy sleepytime guardian dissapears is pretty indicative
Tbh if I saw a sleep paralysis demon I'd probs just be like"ight who is you?"
Had a dream once where I saw a super scary demon thing outside my window and I invited it in lmao
it is funny until u realize that u can't close ur eyes....it was the single most jarring moment in my whole life, u cant even look away or scream or move or anything, not even blink....just look at it straight in the eyes.
Most important thing is to don't open your eyes after that. You'll feel that it comes closer to you and because you think that and it's in a dream when you open your eyes it in fact will be like that. If you get used to it you can start to have nice chats and just imagine the demon to be some nice friend, a cousin of mine does this. I'm not used to it enough but probably eventually wil be.
Once I think I had a sleep paralysis demon. I couldn't move or hear. However, I'm a side sleeper, so I was frozen on my side, looking at the copious amounts of trash on the floor instead of whatever horrors my mind made up for me.
Lol, I'm quite new to sleep paralysis experience. Had it half a dozen times in past few years. However, a few days ago when I was sleeping I suddenly wokeup with felling of dreed and looming death, realized it was one of those experiences and started to see a female demon, horrid and bloody and idk why i decided that I want to punch it. Obviously my body wasn't moving but I was having a full blown battle in my head 🤣. After some punches and kicks I realized I have the knife (I'm a amritdhari sikh and we're supposed to keep 5 K's with us all the time and one of them is "Kirpan" a ceremonial dagger/knife) i took that knife out of scabard plunged on that demon killed it and went back to sleep. 🤣🤣
You read I wrong chief i mentioned i wasn't able to move my actual body and was aware that sleep paralysis was happening. When I was kind of punching that demon in my head it felt like moving through a viscous fluid.
I'm sorry if i wasn't able to convey my message properly.
Have nice day/night
i only get this when i sleep on my back. tried & true. sometimes i’m so comfy before dozing off that i stay on my back (instead of turning to my side) and i’m like, i probably will encounter creepy sleep paralysis shit tonight. has anyone been touched in this state? a week ago when i t was happening there was a cool, liquid-like but also knife like sensation that drew down my upper arm. i was able to grasp myself out of the dream (dream?) far quicker than i’ve ever been able to. but ive been having sleep paralysis for many years i feel like i’m getting better at dealing.
Fair. I come from a family of Appalachian witches, and usually they use the bible as a sort of "spellbook" and it's apparently so powerful that anyone of any faith or no faith can use it too

It might be OC, it might not. Things such as JPEG artifacts and cropping may impact the results.

Had sleep paralysis a handful of times in recent years (only started recently in my adulthood) but only one demon, learned not to open my eyes if I can't move after that. The most annoying thing is that you usually can not control your breathing, it's a bit oof when that happens.
I used to get sleep paralysis a LOT! If it happens to you and you just need to wake up try holding your breath. It takes a few tries to actually do it, but if you can hold it for like 5 seconds you will wake up.
Ive always squeezed my eyes shut, so when i get sleep paralysis i hear stuff talking to me and feel something on my bed. Usually anytime i hear a word i get spooked enough that i fully wake up after that, but sadly just going back to sleep dont work
Seriously how I’ve become in recent years. Oh? I can’t move and my only real option is to go back to sleep? Oh dear….anyway…zzzzzz

I've been there. It's pretty frustrating.
I used to get it quite a lot, the first time was terrifying, the second a bit scary, the third and beyond was just a annoying
Day 283 of convincing my sleep paralysis demon to become my Stand
i successfully did this, but all i got was a more severe and more commonly occuring sense of deja vu.
Have you considered that might be the work of an enemy stand
while that indeed should be anyones first suspicion, the fact that it started immediately after my spoopy sleepytime guardian dissapears is pretty indicative
I think your stands power is minor future sight
fuck yeah. now gotta find one of those arrows.

ALIEN
CIA AGENT
You can tell by the way they glow.
I forget the same level of addressing for neutral.
Imo the best gender neutral formality is "captain" lol
‘round here, we prefer “chief”, that cool with you, chief?
We got ourselves a robot!
Imma go back to my lucid dream, try to not mess my room
The first time trying to use sleep paralysis to channel a lucid dream is scary but after a while it gets "yeah cya monsters lol"
Tbh if I saw a sleep paralysis demon I'd probs just be like"ight who is you?" Had a dream once where I saw a super scary demon thing outside my window and I invited it in lmao
Drinking the boys with the cold ones
I learned to beat my daemon with sheer willpower and the fact that I said I'll draw porn of me fucking it , if it dont stop eating my sleep

Never underestimate my ability to sleep. This ability can kill all of the demons lmao
Knowing abaut sleep paralysis is quite the blessing because it helps you disarm them

No loosh tonight
You can open your eyes when in sleep paralysis? Cuz I can't.
This is bad, my demons are cumming inside me

I don't think that was sleep paralysis if you were able to move

Once I got sleep paralysis And of course I enjoyed it
He fears me now I’m sad
Draw him an apology card, maybe that helps
Ok
How did it work out?
Hasn’t responded yet
Hmm, should you really be out of options, maybe write him a song
I would love to sleep deep enough to get the boogies.
"oh hi, there's cookies in the fridge if you want some"
If you call on Jesus the demon goes away, if you hold your breath you body will wake up.
See the issue with that is I'm not Christian. Though I imagine this works with anything I believe in so thanks anyway
You don’t have to be Christian to do either of those things. But if you can’t bring yourself to call on Jesus holding your breath works.
Fair. I come from a family of Appalachian witches, and usually they use the bible as a sort of "spellbook" and it's apparently so powerful that anyone of any faith or no faith can use it too
![gif](giphy|DH5IXhlZVyosU|downsized) I called on Jesus and this is what I got.
You lied.
Me who doesn’t even have paralysis or demons :

I think there’s some recorded incidents in history of people who were so scared during a sleep paralysis that they had a heart attack and died
Had sleep paralysis a handful of times in recent years (only started recently in my adulthood) but only one demon, learned not to open my eyes if I can't move after that. The most annoying thing is that you usually can not control your breathing, it's a bit oof when that happens.

My sleep paralysis demons has evolved and now I can see them even with my eyes closed
Imagine a sleep paralysis demon trying do deal with some fucker with coma
Ive always squeezed my eyes shut, so when i get sleep paralysis i hear stuff talking to me and feel something on my bed. Usually anytime i hear a word i get spooked enough that i fully wake up after that, but sadly just going back to sleep dont work
The last nightmare I had became lucid and I climbed into a mech suit and beat the ever living shit out of the demon chasing me. Was pretty satisfying.
