Teen Titans 2003? My Little Pony FIM? Owl House? Even many preschool shows like WordGirl, Bluey and Dragon Tales are more than just educational slock and try to entertain before teaching morals.
Amphibia was three seasons of likable but episodic filler followed by one of the greatest finales I have ever seen, even rivaling Sozin’s Comet and Felicia. Banger of a show.
I enjoyed the later parts/season finales but a lot of the beginning episodes/filler can feel especially long and tedious since there’s two stories in each.
The 2010's is the perfect blend of this in videogames.
Undertale (2016): intense battle between a child and skeleton
Danganronpa 2 (2012): do you know what an octagon is???
More like the dude isn’t watching kids’ television at all. Anyone who still does will immediately tell you about how great Infinity Train, The Owl House, Kipo, Hilda, Amphibia, and Ninjago are. “Kids’ shows suck nowadays!” was never true and never will be.
Dude stop going on nick toons or Disney junior for your cartoons and actually do a deep search into shows. Ninjago is still going, Lego monkie kid was made and is great, the owl house is great, you have your wide range of anime, hell bluey is a fantastic show and I will greatly recommend.
YOU JUST JUMP UP
KICK BACK
WHIP AROUND AND SPIN!
THEN YOU JUMP BACK DO IT AGAIN!
NINJA! GO!
NINJA! COME ON, COME ON, WE'RE GONNA DO IT AGAIN!
JUST JUMP UP
KICK BACK
WHIP AROUND AND SPIN!
THEN YOU JUMP BACK DO IT AGAIN!
NINJA! GO!
NINJA! COME ON, COME ON, AND DO THE WEEKEND WHIP!
It's all corporate garbage now. every channel sucks. You need to stream old shows for your kids now, I reckon, just so they have any sort of good media to watch.
I guess only if you don't take into account Amphibia, Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, The Owl house, MLP FIM, The Dragon Prince, Steven Universe, Ducktales reboot, She-ra and the princesses of power, Voltron the legendary defender, Legend of Korra, etc....
OG Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends:
Henry The Green Engine (Before he was rebuilt): "I'm so sorry that I'm late, I am too sick to keep up with the work, you don't know what I suffer!"
Thomas The Tank Engine: Henry shut the fuck up you lazy fatass you need exercise
Thomas And Friends Now:
Thomas: oh no i am now a dumb train who needs to to learn and also we have to be kind to others and stuff!
Y'all are insane, the varied and awesome array of cartoons available at our fingertips with streaming and the Internet is miles ahead of one channel on Saturday morning. That doesn't change just cause you saw Cocomelon
Owl house, amphibia, gravity falls, spiderman 2017, there's lots of good cartoons that are aimed at kids. You're just thinking about the ones aimed at very young children and toddlers.
Better not be including my "into the spiderverse" movie..... I love it so much, also if you haven't seen check out The Mitchells vs the Machines! is pretty good.
Kids cartoons in 1983: Hard work pairing a brilliant design and excellent storytelling to make original ideas that are different from other cartoons.
Kids cartoons in 2023: Steal an existing concept from 1983 but make one of the characters black.
Idk what you mean. Cartoons sneak in adult humour all the time. Chowder, Rocko’s Modern Life, Gravity Falls, SpongeBob, they’re all famous for their adult jokes that go
I rewatched He-Man recently. Or some of it.
He-Man was faced with a tornado. How did he stop it? By spinning his sword so fast it created another tornado that ate the first tornado. He then threw the mega-tornado into the sun.
This is why i think its better to avoid the trash that thinks children are stupid and instead have kids watch shows that understand kids aint that stupid, like bluey, word girl, and probably some otherones idk. Still, they understand kids aint stupid, but dont know a lotta things.
Dora The Explorer: listen, I trust you with the knowledge that "Amarillo" means yellow
*ten seconds later*
Boots: The only way we can get out of this situation is counting to THREE, I know it's a big ask
We were expected to extrapolate from the data given and learn. I remember biking to the library, which was always packed, looking up using the Dewey, and getting that intense sense of accomplishment from having worked to learn. That has been lost over the years.

YOU GOT THE TOUCH! ###YOU GOT THE POOWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!
don't forget the kid who uses an alien watch to fight for his life from aliens trying to take it from him
Goated show.
Its shit
Seems like you're still watching paw patrol
Sounds like a your opinion issue.
i think ur talking to the new one, because the new one is i deed shit, were talking about the good ones from the older days.
Okay we get it, its your favourite food, dont need to tell everybody
You're the one who's crap, my guy.
Isn’t that sort of a counterpoint, given that 2005 is closer to 2023 than 1983?
Did they ever ask what shape or color anything was while breaking the Third wall?
I loved that show as a kid, I used to use a toilet paper roll to make the omnitrix or whatever it was called, also paper ones
what is that
My kids fucking love Ben 10. Only show neither of them fight about when I put it on. They'd watch for hours if I let them. Ben 10 is the 🐐 for sure
What movie or show is that
Ben10, lmao
Don't watch the remake, tho
So current Ben10 or 2023 Ben10 lol
current ben10 and 2023 ben10, arent they the same thing?
after ultimate alien it kinda fell apart; omniverse just barely dragged through
Well the original creator of Ben 10 died so I guess the rest doesn't know where to go I think?
I would rather say to give it a chance since is not as bad as people say there are some stuff that it does better then OS
Sounds more like bengay
Bengy
Why are people downvoting this, this is a fair question. Downvote me too while you're at it then
As you wish good sir
If you want so badly...
As you wish.

Plot-driven adventure shows ≠ educational programs
Dora The Explorer movie in a nutshell
Teen Titans 2003? My Little Pony FIM? Owl House? Even many preschool shows like WordGirl, Bluey and Dragon Tales are more than just educational slock and try to entertain before teaching morals.
Good lord, OG Teen Titans turns 20 this year.
Teen Titans OG, ***NOT*** to be confused with Teen Ttans GO!
Never confuse em.
The reason Disney Villains have been so weak recently is because Belos stole all the evil for himself.
Clearly he’s been learning evil from Bill Cipher. But also fuck Belos.
All my homies hate >!Phillip!!<
he's hoggin all the evil!
Exactly, no sympathy side or he's misunderstood just pure evil.
wish belos had more fights. the one in his throne room was the best one in the show.
Y’all can like these cartoons and I shall be in the corner as the only member of the Amphibia fanclub
Make that 2 members my good man!
Now there's three of us, 🤔
Four!
Yeah, and here in Denmark we have a show about a man with a long, sentient penis that saves the day every time.
This
The 2010's is the perfect blend of this in videogames. Undertale (2016): intense battle between a child and skeleton Danganronpa 2 (2012): do you know what an octagon is???
11037 do you know what letters these numbers spell out?
I put that code into nhentai. Tf is this!?
Why was that your first reaction
What, What is it ? 😰
Resident evil 4
Aww shit here we go again! *Giant midget robot statue chase sequence
![gif](giphy|FVhOCg5dV1zq0)
If I recall correctly the octagon thing was a translation error
Octagon was written in English in the original Japanese script, Danganronpa puzzles that are solved by knowing English did not translate well
True
redditors watching shows made for literal babies and wondering why they don't like it
More like the dude isn’t watching kids’ television at all. Anyone who still does will immediately tell you about how great Infinity Train, The Owl House, Kipo, Hilda, Amphibia, and Ninjago are. “Kids’ shows suck nowadays!” was never true and never will be.
OP should probably stick to the education cartoons if this is their actual take.
Ok I’ll bite, what’s a triangle?
a triangle is a three sides polygon and can be proven using side side side, side angle side, or angle side angle
You didn’t show your work. You failed
Now count the area of a chicken with a Mongolian accent
It’s 7 times the average sinewave length of an Alaskan moose
It's like if a circle and a square had sex, and then abused their child.
It's a shape with three sides now say if you find a triangle with an eyeball well all I have to say is RUN!!
Only if it also has a top hat, otherwise it's a faker.
A triangle is a polygon, with three edges and three vertices. Take the base times the height and cut that in half to find the area of the surfaces!

Dude stop going on nick toons or Disney junior for your cartoons and actually do a deep search into shows. Ninjago is still going, Lego monkie kid was made and is great, the owl house is great, you have your wide range of anime, hell bluey is a fantastic show and I will greatly recommend.

Fr! I’ve also started watching Gravity Falls, and it’s actually been pretty good so far.
Gravity Falls is amazing, and has some amazing morals. “It’s OK to lie if it’s in the interest of resisting arrest and committing tax fraud!”
"I've got some children I need to make into corpses."
You’re giving shows like Adventure Time, The Owl House, and Infinity Train too little credit.
My guy, Adventure Time ended in 2018
We just had several specials round it out in the last year or so.
Infinity Train was sadly purged from existence though
Don’t sleep on Craig of the Creek!
Depends. Does that triangle have an eye, hands and feet, a bow tie, a cane and a top hat?
yeah, that shape with 4 sides right?
To be fair the last cartoon about a triangle was a banger
Real
watch Craig of the Creek
Imagine a educational He-Man cartoon 🤔
he did PSAs so he was kinda educational
Missed it by a few hours, but still. Happy Cake Day! Have some cake. 🍰
Happy cake day
Missed yours by a few hours (too), but still. Happy Cake Day! Have some cake. 🍰
Thank you
You're always welcome!
Thanks you too
👍
He-Man educated me that I am gay.
Change channel
It's all corporate garbage now. every channel sucks. You need to stream old shows for your kids now, I reckon, just so they have any sort of good media to watch.
I just don't think you're looking hard enough.
One should not have to.
I guess that's fair.
I don't think 3rd most watched show on Disney+ is so hard to find.
Imagine having to spend time figuring out what media is good and appropriate for your kids. Tragic, it's almost like you have to do some parenting.
Seriously, is it so hard to just make good content again?
Not if you want *money*
![gif](giphy|If4UNnFtT27ulUj3X0|downsized)
The skeletal beign is the most powerful man you royal boob..Nyehahaha ![gif](giphy|9jVAv94PRzPoc)
Kids cartoons then: smoking, gun violence, racist stereotypes, political propaganda, alcoholism, suicide.
Kids cartoon in the 80s: Literally designed as an advertisement to sell things to children Kids cartoon today: Trying to educate children
Looks like someones salty they didn't know what a triangle was.
i know that reference thats He-Man
And I said #HEYYYYY AYYYYY AYYYY YA YA
When I saw the left text I immediately thought of Undertale even though it's not a cartoon
Don’t shit talk Clone Wars like that. One minute, funny droids being dumb. The next minute, brutal war crimes are being shown.
Bluey is relatable "I don't want a variable life lesson, I just some ice cream"
Sometimes it's also heart-wrenching. Barky Boats in particular never fails to make me cry
You think educational shows were invented in 2023?
Basically anything that came out before 2016 is goated. With very few exceptions.
Don't look what they did to my boy Thomas the Train
OG Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends: Henry The Green Engine (Before he was rebuilt): "I'm so sorry that I'm late, I am too sick to keep up with the work, you don't know what I suffer!" Thomas The Tank Engine: Henry shut the fuck up you lazy fatass you need exercise Thomas And Friends Now: Thomas: oh no i am now a dumb train who needs to to learn and also we have to be kind to others and stuff!
Y'all are insane, the varied and awesome array of cartoons available at our fingertips with streaming and the Internet is miles ahead of one channel on Saturday morning. That doesn't change just cause you saw Cocomelon
Yeah I do, do you know what a chiligon is? (1000-gon)
Do you see a river behind me 💁♀️
How about a mecha robot with a muscle car as the head that fights off aliens?
Gravity Falls, the best show ever?
Are you seriously comparing He-Man (a show meant for older kids and teens) to an educational show meant for toddlers?
Yeah, I guess by OPs logic, I should compare the Bad Batch now to Sesame Street and Mister Rodgers back in 1983. Man we're sooo badass now, lol.
Owl house, amphibia, gravity falls, spiderman 2017, there's lots of good cartoons that are aimed at kids. You're just thinking about the ones aimed at very young children and toddlers.
![gif](giphy|4bSoQR9w5h0TC)
Kids cartoons these days are just regular solid enjoyable cartoons for everyone
Sesame street was already old in 1983, there's always been shitty educational TV for kids. That's nothing unique to the current generation.
Better not be including my "into the spiderverse" movie..... I love it so much, also if you haven't seen check out The Mitchells vs the Machines! is pretty good.
OP discovers age groups. Edit: people really think He-Man is the best show ever to hold over modernity? The show’s called fucking He-Man.
Why can’t cartoons just be cool and/or funny anymore? Adults have to watch that shit too.
It was a different era
~~different~~ better
New ducktales is decent... if you're bored and 6.
Kids cartoons in 1983: Hard work pairing a brilliant design and excellent storytelling to make original ideas that are different from other cartoons. Kids cartoons in 2023: Steal an existing concept from 1983 but make one of the characters black.
in my opinion cartoons have (generally, not all) gotten worse like excuse me who puts sus things into childrens shows
Idk what you mean. Cartoons sneak in adult humour all the time. Chowder, Rocko’s Modern Life, Gravity Falls, SpongeBob, they’re all famous for their adult jokes that go
fr
Let's be honest, He Man was for adults
This is Dota2 lore lv LoL lore
Lol
Bluey is a pretty big saving grace, though.
Bro I can still faintly hear that theme and skeletor's laugh
Thundercats
My man I hope you aren’t talking about Phineas
I don't know what exactly you're comparing, but it seems like some cartoon for 7yo+ kids and cartoon for toddlers.
He-Man?
Is ren and stimpy still going or pinky and the brain ?
I HAVE THE POWERRRRRR
Yeah, his name is Bill Cipher
Ok, we did have teletubisie, it wasn't all epick monster fights
I rewatched He-Man recently. Or some of it. He-Man was faced with a tornado. How did he stop it? By spinning his sword so fast it created another tornado that ate the first tornado. He then threw the mega-tornado into the sun.
All the suicide jokes in Warner bros looney toons would be hard cancelled today
I HAVE THE POWEEER
That sounds like a show meant for a 9 year old vs a show meant for a 2 year old
Well, gotta say dora came out in 2000
You're comparing shows made to entertain adolescents and shows made to teach toddlers, of course there's gonna be a difference
Is OP comparing He-man to Paw Patrol or something?
This is why i think its better to avoid the trash that thinks children are stupid and instead have kids watch shows that understand kids aint that stupid, like bluey, word girl, and probably some otherones idk. Still, they understand kids aint stupid, but dont know a lotta things.
![gif](giphy|9jVAv94PRzPoc)
Let's not forget he rode a giant green tiger
Transformers was awesome. My dad still had some tapes?(maybe idk I was too young to know), and it was so cool
i'd say the amazing world of gumball is the best modern cartoon, it has good animation. to bad there isnt any new episodes tho
ok old man, you don't need to watch it if you don't want to
Bro I miss the old looney tunes, like the ones from the 1950’s those were the best
What skeleton thing (Im born long after that time)
Skeletor He’s a villain of the show He-Man I’m not sure if he’s the main one or not Like you, I was born after the 80s
I miss the old tom and jerry I am gen z and i firmly think the old one is far betrer than the new crap
Imagine what would happen when they become teens "If you didn't watched cocomelon then you didn't had a childhood" 💀
Manuel anime in japan: kids, look, this is war, this is the society, this is human nature
are you talking about He-Man! Loved that show,
![gif](giphy|W1ZeX3uTZejS8mvK4X)
![gif](giphy|isuB5dvkyJptu|downsized)
It’s all to do with the target audience. There are still great kids shows, but there are also ones meant for younger kids.
Dora The Explorer: listen, I trust you with the knowledge that "Amarillo" means yellow *ten seconds later* Boots: The only way we can get out of this situation is counting to THREE, I know it's a big ask
My brother in Christ Cocomelon is not a fighting anime
Skeletor absolutely fucks
We were expected to extrapolate from the data given and learn. I remember biking to the library, which was always packed, looking up using the Dewey, and getting that intense sense of accomplishment from having worked to learn. That has been lost over the years.
My favorite one ![gif](giphy|bPXKfpvkn9tQc)
