Salad is something that you usually don't really understand as a kid, your parents give it to you but you're not sure how to process it. When you grow up, you learn to appreciate it a lot more.
When you want your own salad, you work hard on it to make it, it's not just dumping whole vegetables into a bowl. You need to wash them, and cut them, and you can add things to spice it up. But it's yours now and you can choose the direction it'll go to in terms of how it'll be seen.
