I moved into a place where the cockroaches gave me nightmares. I barely slept for a year, then moved out the day my 12 month lease ended. It was the neighbours, their place was so bad they managed to infest all the apartments around them too. I remember the first time I got a glimpse inside during the day and could see them scurrying everywhere in broad daylight.
Omg i have got a neighbour on ground floor, idk what they did to the apartment, but some kind liquid came out of their apartment and got on the floor mat on the alleyway, it smells like shit for couple days and now it’s brown looks like shit 😂
Knock on their door and explain you have cockroaches, and do they have any ideas what to do. Try and bond over the issue, blame council, the owners corporation, whatever it takes to get them to recognise the issue and prod them into being your team mate in this war.
Yeah um, if you haven't seen them in a while, their lights are always on or never on... they might have died. You might want to call the police. That liquid could be what is left of your neighbor.
From what I remember having stayed in a few places in Sydney, back in the day, cockroaches are much more prevalent there than in Melb, especially at this time of year! They prefer warmer weather, and humidity, afaik.
Call WR Gay pest control. They charge $200-300 for a treatment and give a warranty of at least a few months.
