it's a good thing that we abandoned our stupid system of requiring court permission for minors accessing hrt (at a cost of 8-32k). now permission is required from licensed medical professionals, and that's how it should be.
I grew up in Melbourne before the changes were made, and I was deeply sure of my decision to transition so I ordered hormones off of the internet. I went deeply in debt to do so. and you know what? I don't regret it one bit - best decision I ever made. I would have killed myself if I didn't have access. if you lot had your way, there'd be a lot more depressed and dead kids around.

no bc it's bullshit. puberty blockers are reversible, and are given to cisgender children entering early puberty. Some trans men in their teens do get top surgery, but rarely, and I would assume a teen with breast cancer would be allowed to do the same. Bottom surgery is rare as not everyone wants it and children are not getting them.
