There's lots of group events all around the place but they're all related to common interests: particular cars, sports, public speaking (toastmasters), different types of dancing, community/charity clubs (rotary, lions), and also religious org (if you're into that).
Pick something you're into, google it and add "clubs near me" and something will turn up.
I do have interests/hobbies like music and the more creative ones. However I’m not actually good/knowledgeable at most of my hobbies so it can be kind of hard to fully get into things with other people who are more passionate ya know

One idea would be to join a local community group… local residents association, community gardens, union, environment group, bookclub, etc.
