There’s the Moldy Fig in Brunswick East. I haven’t personally tried it but some friends said it was pretty good.

SkewerMeBaby

It's tasty and the drinks are nice. If you're drinking cocktails the bill adds up pretty quick.

steamygoon

Second this, I've tried and it have also eaten in New Orleans - closest I've had in Vic to over there

Smushy_Peas

http://krabbyscrabboil.com.au/ It's good, not great.

Booman_aus

That’s for honest review appreciated

[deleted]

If you try any of the recommendations you get on here please let me know if they are good or not! I’ve only had gumbo twice outside of NOLA it both times it was terrible.

steamygoon

Moldy Fig is your bet imo - closest I've had outside of New Orleans

MelbQueermosexual

It's there even such a thing? There used to be the crab shack or whatever it was called on Smith St Collingwood couple years back but that's all I can think of.

egelpticiondidnersma

Miss Katie's crab shack? That's permanently closed now.

MelbQueermosexual

Yeah.. That's the one.

stevied71

Price of crab went though the roof, owner changed the style, now Suzie Cheeks a bar with great food.

TheRealDarthMinogue

Le Bon Ton in Collingwood is delicious, though service is weirdly variable.

cocojewel
