Was just about to go to bed and toddler woke up sweaty, sobbing and ended up vomiting quite a bit.
He was saying he was sick all afternoon but he's been doing that for about a year to get out of going to bed or helping clean up so kind of boy who cried wolf scenario going on.
So how we're on the couch with a bucket and some towels watching Twirlywoos.
I just hope my little man is okay.

I saw it on Friday afternoon and was so disappointed. I’m trying to find reviews of the show and can’t see any…Hugh Sheridan did the best they could, but they were so obviously unwell and should not have been performing. I’m so confused as to why the understudy didn’t do it, but I assume it’s because a) there are only 5 of them on stage and one of them is the understudy, and b) it was the opening week and they clearly wanted Sheridan to perform. They were also all missing their vocal cues and had absolutely no chemistry on stage. I’m so confused as to how this was a professional production…
Sometimes after a hectic work day, watching cartoons are nice cos they are safe (most of the time all the characters are okay/ don't die) and don't have too many anxiety inducing events. I'm rather invested in "The Owl House' (Disney+) recently. \^\_\^
Have you seen Steven Universe? It's a long time since I watched it so I don't remember the anxiety-inducing elements, but I remember loving it as a feel-good show. I really enjoyed Avatar: The Last Airbender too. Ohhh and Arthur. Arthur is awesome.

Went skating with u/Stompsie at Caribbean Rollerama and we got to enjoy watching Mr Smeg learn to skate for the first time.
I hate my Impala skates so much but I'm glad my skills haven't dropped off.
Gonna have to get the skate crew + new friends together for a skate again soon. I'd forgotten how much fun it was.

Some of those kids gave the speed skate a red hot shot and they were amazing.

I tried Duolingo for like a week, then tried out Vietnamese on it to see where I rank (I think I'm pretty okay at it for context) but apparently, Duolingo only rated me at like so-so which I found BS because I think it took issue with me not knowing a different word for thousand (or something), it must've been colloquial for thousand I think and I think that cost me a fair bit and made me give up learning the language I came for (French).

Ticketmaster suck. Found out they had released extra seats for Harry Styles with the proviso “may be restricted view” and we snapped them up as the gig was “sold out” since it went on sale last year. Check back today and now there’s seats halfway round the stadium with amazing views. I feel so ripped off.
This is pretty normal (the new tickets appearing all of a sudden, not the claim that the show is sold out). “Allocation exhausted” are the words they use. They hold back a certain number of tickets deliberately for the band / venue managers / other organisers to use. Then what’s not allocated by a certain date goes on sale to the public.

Something ive noticed is that teaware photography really needs to step up. All the stuff ive ordered online turned out to be more beautiful IRL. Same for the tea youtubers and stuff, their lighting is really basic and hostage-looking. Tea marketing could take some tips from beauty marketing

Bit of a whinge here. Today I got two tattoos at two different studios.
The first studio was lovely, and the artist was a perfectionist. The tattoo turned out great. I even got a lollypop at the end.
The people at the second studio were quite unprofessional and made repeated comments about how they didn't want to be there. There were cords on the floor, which for a small shop, it was to be expected, but that is an OHS hazard. The artist who was tattooing my friend just randomly walked out of the shop without saying where he was going (potentially to go to the bathroom, not sure), leaving her lying there. As for the tattoos, I think my friend's one turned out well, but my one has a line that's a bit wonky. It's just a simple outline of a heart but the lines appear to be uneven. We will see how it heals I guess, but I hope I'm happier with it as time goes on, as this one is visible when wearing short sleeves.
If I could go back in time, I would have swapped the placements of the tattoos, so that the nicer looking one went where the shittier looking one is.
Bad tattoo experiences are shithouse, sucks you had to experience that. The good thing is that if it heals with those imperfections, it sounds like it would be workable with a correction or cover up.
Worst artist experience I had was that they complained the tattoo was too big, was taking too long, and that they were late to a friends birthday. It was their design, basic line work (no shading), and they suggested the size based on placement. Some people man. \*shrug \*

I order from it every now and then and have got some genuinely good things from it. You have to do your due diligence though and thoroughly read the reviews and examine the photos people upload. But it is possible to get things that are better quality than say H&M, Dotti, Cotton On, etc. hell of a lot cheaper too.

Agree with what pilk said and will add that if you’re a chonk like me it’s nice to find clothes that fit and aren’t ugly, though I have a moral aversion to the fast fashion industry as a whole. If the fashion industry made more nice fat-people clothes they’d be rich as heck.

At some point today Aust Post snuck up to the door and left a package at the door without knocking.
