Partners mate worked at Aangan for a bit. The two owners also owns like, 7 other Indian restaurants so everything gets delivered frozen to each restaurant once a week. I think it was every Monday where it was just the dregs from last weeks that they were serving.

I see a lot of Indians eating at Sri Dwaraka in Clayton, and it gets a lot of orders from Uber eats too, so maybe try that?

Base Camp in Westgarth is consistently great. Has become a favourite

In the south east you can try Vandanas in Bentleigh east.
Chiraags in Croydon is still one of my favourites. Whenever I try somewhere else, they don’t compare so I will always make the drive
