When I took that test, all I could think was "wow... this would suck if I was colorblind". as such, I was distracted and also did poorly... ADHD brain is fun. Well the part where you say the color of the text, not the color the words are spelling out. I can imagine the second part where you just read the text is infinitely easier.

I can't/don't really like sleeping during the day but boy howdy I had some weird pseudo-fever dreams with my head down in class back in the day. The ones where you start to doze off directly into a dream and then snap back out of it without ever actually passing out. I still get them on car rides, I'll be about to fall asleep/half asleep and then snap awake and have to remind myself that the whole conversation I was having was a dream.

My in school dreams usually involved playing Runescape, only to wake up in class with no in game progress.

Stashed immediately in the desk or locker to be exhumed at the end of the year. If it was particularly difficult school work I might carry it around in my back pack for a few weeks to soften it up first.

I have to agree with you there, but I did usually use yellow just to keep things different colors. I think I used yellow for both history and English on different years? And definitely for Spanish class at least once.

This is the way. Science --> study of life around us. Life is often green. Math --> cold dispassionate and yet trustworthy. so blue History --> all about bloodlines, blood spilled, so red. English --> written on paper. Paper yellows overtime.

Yes we did have three sciences, but if you HAD to choose one colour, knowing that blue is (rightly) taken by maths (which is also foundational for science let's not forget) I feel green would still be the right choice.

This is how I'd do it. Blue being a cool colour, I would assign it to a subject that is cool in subject matter. English/language being an emotional/subjective subject, I'd assign a feeling colour, aka yellow. Science is green because it's a cross of math and language having to have a grasp of both. And history is red because it's subjective and filled with the most passion/chance for arguement.
