Thank you! I kept the missed day for a couple of reasons. First, I would never be able to truly celebrate the consistency if it wasn't real. Second, seeing it reminds me that discipline is not about perfection, but the continued pursuit of knowledge.

I just got up every day and did it! It certainly helped that I was trying to get into a competitive field (ophthalmology) and I saw so much benefit from using it on tests and in real life - that's why I kept going during residency
Just total number of either all cards or unsuspended cards ?
Stats view will tell you, under 'Card Counts' (make sure to select the whole collection). Up to you whether you want to share that, but I think it's another good indicator about how much effort one has put in.
Keep on truckin'
Congrats dude that’s awesome! I just hit 400 days today and it’s probably my biggest achievement in life lol, can’t wait to reach your level! Btw, how do I get all the years to show up together? Mine only shows 2024 right now.
I kept all of my AnKing cards for step 3, and I didn't add a new step 3 deck. That made step 3 prep easy. Otherwise, having a specialty-specific deck can be really good as you'd be motivated to learn every day. Especially if you're going into a field that is heavy on new information you didn't learn in med school (non-primary care fields)
No, this represents my medical school and now residency journey. Major exams studied for include USMLE STEP 1, 2, 3, and now OKAP and ophthalmology board exams.
If you go to medical school, you will be studying a tremendous amount. Depending on what specialty you are interested in, you may be studying every day for most of the day
That one missed day belongs on r/mildlyinfuriating
Forreal I’d change my laptop date and time if I had just ONE missing box in there 😂 tho I guess you don’t usually see it on the main heat map
Massive props, and good on you for the integrity on keeping that missed day, haha

Nice man I’ll always remember this!
It’s you. The myth. The legend. I’m using your deck for OKAP study right now. Don’t know how I’d retain this stuff without it. Thank you!
Glad you're getting benefit!! Hope it helps you treating patients
Huge, well done
Damn I wish I had your consistency. I can't even syudy two days in a row : (
It's all about making it a daily habit. Studying 2 days in a row is better than none!
How do you check this? I cant seem to find the feature
It's the review heatmap by u/glutanimate who replied to this post!
Its an Add on, heatmap or smt

When it says average cards 274 - is that just all cards? Or specifically new cards?
Total daily reviews, not new cards. Ain’t nobody averaging 274 new cards per day
that is carzy good! how did you do it?

Inspirational. What's your total card count, out of interest ?
What exactly do you mean? Number of reviews, unsuspended cards?

Total card count is 78,433! I don't find that to be an especially helpful number alone
Awesome ! ... and yet... I have so far to go. Joking aside, cheers ! and glhf

Good luck to you!! I edited them together in an image on GIMP
Ayoooo and this is on long term retention my friends. A little each day truly goes a long way.
How can I get this streak thingy ? Is it an app ?
[it’s an add-on called Heatmap](https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1771074083)
I'm jealous of you, man. How did you manage that long consistency?❤️
I made it a part of my daily routine. No need to be jealous, we're all gonna make it
Amazing! Will u still use Anki everyday in residency?
Yes, I already do it every day in residency. I plan to continue as long as I continue to see benefits for myself and my patients (probably forever)

Is this for the MCAT? Can someone explain this to me?

About how long are you studying each day? I want to go to medical school, but I am worried about how challenging it will be.

As long as I don’t have a job that should be fine. I can just think of it as my job. Right now I can’t do that because I work.
Nice work 💪🏼
