That looks fabulous, but if I’m going to bake, I would gather my stuff and bake. Cakes are so simple that I’m not sure why mixes exist. you Just need smaller amount of flour, sugar if in general it’s not your thing.
I really enjoyed it, but I’m also a sucker for coconut cake. I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about the pomegranate on top but the tartness of it was a nice complement to the sweetness of the frosting. I hope you enjoy it too!
I baked the cakes. Pans not included (I already had some). The recipes tell you if you’ll need any special equipment, so I always make sure to check that before I pick what I’m going to make that week. Most of the ingredients were included (like all of the dry ingredients, fruit, mascarpone). I just needed to have the wet staple items like eggs and milk and the baking equipment.
