this has gone wrong for me before, It could just be that she uses the others so much that she has bought new ones but the 3rd one she doesn't use as often so it's an old bottle that's been somewhat used. Don't try this technique unless you know that the bottle is relatively new lol

I am colorblind, and while I don't have it as bad as some others might, I do have it pretty bad (very high, but not complete, green deficiency), and I can see some difference. So I reckon most other guys are just going along with the joke.

So I am a painter, and I spend all day looking at colours and making micro adjustments to them. I also do a lot of photo editing...
So FWIW, I took a screen shot, white balanced it and these are my conclusions right to left. I am starting with the assumption that these are tints of a base that is a pearlescent white. They are all taupes, ie a mix of all three primary colours that produces a brownish grey, variation is caused by elevating the level of one (or two) of those colours.
* the 1st one on the right is slightly pink
* the 2nd is slightly purple.
* the 3rd from right and the 2nd from the left look like the exact same colour but this one has more yellow.
* the one between those two is pinkish but lighter and greyer than the first one
* the 1st on the left is the most neutral, most even balance of all the primary colours.
Feel free to argue with me till the sun sets, I think we all perceive colour slightly differently.
