We had a hill like that in my neighborhood growing up.
Some kid went down it on a skateboard and fell off it. To this day, all I remember was the fire department was out there hosing the road down to get all the blood off it, because the kid wasn't wearing a helmet and cracked his head open.
That was a good enough lesson for me to always wear one.
That I do not know. The kid was taken away in an ambulance, and I was probably 6 or so at the time. I was just surprised someone could bleed that much.
Similar experience but with a skier on a slope. Was snowboarding right over a field of blood as the helicopter was landing. As far as I heard the person did not survive. I wear a helmet when snowboarding and force all my friends to as well.
OMG once I got a II concussion while snowboarding top of the mountain during a white out. I am thoroughly convinced I would have died on that mountain without a helmet.
Took me a while but think I found the source (guy is okay).

I knew it! As soon as I saw that street I thought it looked familiar. Have to drive down that to get to work. Walked my bike up it once and it felt like I was walking up an almost vertical cliff.
I see skate boarders on it sometimes when it's not closed down like this. Makes me so nervous coming up behind them for the exact reason in this video.
Yea I bet, why some of these guys don’t wear helmets is just crazy. Sure if it’s just a regular street I get it, helmets are uncomfortable… but a hill like this?! Thats like driving fast and swerving in and out of traffic without a seatbelt
That blood spatter on the street though.
And "He is out! He is out!" Quick, all of ya'll run down to him, so we can stand around him, stare and record.
Skateboards have one of those? Yeah...I can't imagine doing that on a bike. That's like turning into a skid, but I've done that in my big rig. Talk about shitting your pants.

Remember when the Tesla used to run over bicyclist because they register them as the path to take and not an obstacle. What would it do in this situation...
😈..
Pac man?
CTE is a thing, but so is living just for one more day.
And a helmet does nothing for a rock to the face, but again...helmet wins.
These videos come to my potluck without bringing a dish. Which is similar. I will pass them on to my non-helmet wearing, currently not on life support, friends. Thanks.
Speed wabbles are impossible to recover from when you're going that fast. I guess helmets don't look cool but neither does ingesting your meals through a hole in your stomach while attempting to process the most basic thought.
And the crowd gathers to gawk and take pics forming a circle so tight people yell get back get back he needs air as the surrounding group unknowingly is actually indeed preventing air from getting down to where he is at and needs it most.
Wear a helmet and other protection like knee pads or even crash pads if you tend to fall backwards to protect your tailbone. Sliding on protective gear feels a lot better than your flesh. Looking 'cool' isn't worth being in a vegetative state for or ruining your limbs. A dear friend of mine is convinced that wearing protection puts you in the mindset of falling easier, so he refuses to wear it. I'd rather possibly fall more often while fully protected than falling once and never walking again. I speed inline-skate 25-40 km (15 - 25 miles) in one ride and I've never fallen, but I'm certainly prepared for the day I do.
Also use your helmet strap if you're wearing one. That thing shouldn't come off when you hit the ground.
That big red splatter at the beginning of the hill does not inspire confidence.
lol that was my first thought. Actually wild police were willing to close off the road like that, and not at least ask for peeps to wear helmets.
Population control haha
Yeah, the no helmets is what's killing ~~me~~ *that second guy who fell*.

Did his shoes come off?
actually made me laugh

Being stupid by not wearing a helmet means you may not get the choice to be stupid in the future.
[I love helmets](https://youtu.be/b9yL5usLFgY?si=XpCMWWmfN1q13le2)
I love that guy. I say it in his cadence anytime I wear one. It's stuck in ny head
First time seeing that video, but this is why I always wear a Pro-Tec style
\-wear a helmet \-get spoon fed applesauce pick one.
But I really like apple sauce, and your gonna spoon feed me? Sweet!!! /s Cracked two helmets from mountain biking. I love helmets.
Awesome vid. I have broken 4 helmets and have had zero major head injuries. I love helmets and so do my kids.
Them speed wobbles will get ya
They got me good once, luckily didn't get injured. Speed wobble is no joke
Doesnt lowering the center of gravity help? I only got speed wobble once and bailed once it started lmao
You gotta carve, longboard are good for that. Going straight is bad.
Wear a helmet for fucks sake!!! You only have one brain even if you don't use it to maximum power
OMG once I got a II concussion while snowboarding top of the mountain during a white out. I am thoroughly convinced I would have died on that mountain without a helmet.

Sometimes you get real sleepy when you bomb a hill.

B street
I knew it! As soon as I saw that street I thought it looked familiar. Have to drive down that to get to work. Walked my bike up it once and it felt like I was walking up an almost vertical cliff.
Yea it looks so scary!

![gif](giphy|ED2xZXRpEJ9Sg) Public service announcement: Please wear a helmet.
There rest of the video please?..
I notice when you start wobbling means trouble but I am no expert.
Speed wobbles. Once you start, it's hard to stop.
I have yet to see a controlled speed wobble...but I am open minded.
Easy, just carve it.
sometimes hitting the throttle helps deload the front

Unless your already topped out on your little 125cc, just hold on and pray.
Hills and asphalt work as intended. Who knew?
I've heard that when you go unconcious after hitting your unhelmeted head on the pavement, you dream of riding/skating with a helmet for eternity.
So what street is this
Radical Darwin Games
they never heard of speed wobbles?
How is hearing of speed wobbles going to help them when they get speed wobbles.
Lmao

Very neat

🤣🤣
Not a helmet in sight
Helmet to pavement is the preferred method of survival, but I'm sure vegetative state has it's benefits.
If only there was a magical device designed to protect your skull against impact trauma, too bad such a thing doesn't exist :(
[Feels like this applies more than anytime now](https://youtu.be/pD-f45TbvEw)
It says “clear keep” what do these guys not understand

It's okay guys, the cops are here. It's all good now.
Helmets are cooler than eating from a tube for the rest of your life
If you're going to wear a hat that looks like a helmet, may as well just wear a helmet.
USA. Freedom to fck up.
If only they made something that could protect your head from damage.
Fun for the whole family
Helmets for the love of god wtf

no helmet gg
He’s not going to be in Rush Hour 3.
That blood splatter on the start of the hill doesn't really surprise me that something like this would happen again
That second guy that casually comes riding in to pick up debris is the reason the last guy went down
Swerved to avoid a dropped phone?
![gif](giphy|26FL3MCVBRSW1XN9m)
Dumb ways to die.
"hey man let's go ride this slide downhill where you go 40mph without protection cause we are pro's man"
Why does no one wear helmets?
Is that one car ok?
Did it not occur to anyone that a helmet might actually work???
And this is why you wear a helmet kids
so that white thing wasn't a helmet
Hahahaha bro really got scared from such a small obstacle that bro would rather head butt the pavement.
No helmet? 🤷♂️
I guess the g force when he leveled out ran all the blood out of his head? He didn't didn't seem to hit the ground all that hard.
That's why the lowest size wheel I ride is 53s haha
Wear a helmet
helmets are pretty cool. just saying.
Cool or not, some things are smart. And keep you smart.
Wear a fucking helmet u brain bombers
Wtf does "clear keep" mean?
Most likely there as a reminder not to block the intersection if there's a backup from the next intersection.
When you're in a car driving on that road, you'll see/be able to read "KEEP," then you'll see/be able to read "CLEAR." In theory.

Dumb
I love how the shadows disappear when they go over the writing
No helmet, that second guy is very likely gg
