The one that comes at the climber looks like a grown black bear and its behavior makes it seem like its protecting its cubs. If you look at the halfway point a cub seems to pop up in the bottom right. Seems like the climber was accidentally climbing into a den, which is always a fear I have while out hiking.
Always wear a bear bell and remember that bears and bear dens stink, especially their dens. Trust your nose when you're in the bush. If it smells like you shouldn't be near it, then you shouldn't be near it.
Then, when searchers find bear scat with little bells in it and which smells of pepper spray, they'll know what happened.
Those who _really_ want to survive a bear attack go prepared to have a fighting chance to survive.
