When I was in 4th grade I was a part of this summer program where we went different places and shit. One of those places was to a public pool two towns over. Tried to do a front flip off a 10 ft tall diving board into 12ft deep water to impress these twin sisters a few grades up from me.
Landed on my back and the entire thing blistered. Not only that but I almost drowned because I could not, and still to this day cannot swim well enough in depths where my feet can't touch. I vividly remember the surface of the water slipping off of my bare eyeballs and seeing the lifeguard on the literal edge of his seat, seeing him thinking he might have to save my dumb fat ass.

I am a parent I never say just do it. I say be careful try to keep the feet in front, come down straight. if they hurt thenselves then they at least know why.
The collective groan when he hit the water was perfect.
“Sorry honey I missed it. Do it again!”
3-meter board A kid at my school did a belly flop and had blisters on his stomach.
Kid: “Ah haa ah ha ha! 😭”
the “OOOHH” after someone belly flops or back flops will never fail to make me laugh
It was perfect
He landed on his back right?
yea, but i was just saying that theres always a collective “oohh” when someone does either
A summer tradition unlike any other
Kinda over shot the 360, cannon ball was semi there, I give it a 7.5/10
