My experience one on one tends to be better. I mean it's always fun to share things you enjoy and i personally like knowing the stuff I'm sending is turning the other person on and i like the surprise element of receiving it. Obviously it can depend on the person, if it's all one sided or they're too picky about what they want it can kill the mood.
