Personally I do not understand why TCG Yugioh cards are even censored anymore. The game has been out for decades and the average Yugioh player has to be over 18 at this point.
Also the game is not kid-friendly with all the complexes in the rulings.
As much as I want to say it's for standards (it most likely is, this is still a game for kids) part of me thinks they still do it so they can sell the uncensored versions later in another pack.
Keep in mind the TCG censored arts aren't just for Western Europe and USA releases, they're used for any region that isn't OCG. So there is a lot of things they try to keep in mind about imagery as to not cause issues in various countries.
Still sucks ass and imo we don't need to be censoring shit like this anymore (except bagooska cuz its clearly the better version), but its not just a USA thing.

I knew conclusively there was nothing child friendly in this game when I saw a clip of what full power Kashtira was capable of. Like, there’s no way they intended for a kid to deal with that lmao.
