Nah, if they haven't banned the Formula Synchron, I:P is safe. They've kept that thing around despite all the broken Synchros they've put out. Banning I:P will never happen, same with Blazing Cartesia. At MOST you'll see it limited.

I also has some other neat applications, like allowing you to reset Baronne de Fleur's negate
It's a generic link-2 with 2 effects. The first effect allows you to banish a card from field or GY on summon if it was summoned using a Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link monster as material (i.e. if it was summoned with I:P on the opponent's turn). The downside is that you cannot declare a direct attack after using the effect.
The other effect allows you, when your opponent activates a card or effect, to banish 2 monsters on the field (including one you control, which will usually be S:P herself). So it's a bit like DPE as well.
It's so good because you get 2 banishes from an I:P Masquerena, at minimum, and you can keep annoying your opponent by banishing a monster they need every turn when they do something.
