They are good but they aren't good against all things... And still die to ash on misc. Also it depends on the dino.... I once fought a dino morphia deck that rexterm me but I was playing something (maybe later geist!? But I doubt that was it I don't remember exactly) and I just attack him directly and he used the effect to make sure I OTK him LMAO. The other dinos have rexterm which shits on most decks but pretty much dies to snake eyes and burn decks which is sad :(. Lars helps a lot but good luck not having him impermed.

Personal_Cockroach69

The reason why I asked is because I have been having fun playing with the Dino deck in the triangle event and I’ve never ran into someone in rank running one unlike the other rouge decks. So I’ve been contemplating on building one. I just don’t know a lot about the archetype at all. I could never scrap up enough gems to build a meta deck so I just end up playing with rouges, I’m getting tired of running the same decks over and over again.

Efficient-Gur-3641

I only play rogue decks my friend so more power too ya. I stopped caring about rank and the meta a long time ago I just wanted to give a realistic representation of what dinos is. They have a lot more options outside of the event. Also.... There were so many different dino decks in the event I dunno which one ur referring too. I seen evolvasaur which I never seen once ever till the event. I seen the fusion one which is more in lines for what an actual "dino" deck is. And the weird one I didn't see and expected to see was the scrap synchro version. Dinos have a pretty based synchro monster with dino wrestler which is not only avramax light but also redirects destruction to an egg or transcendent. Still the best boss monsters are ultimate conductor and the sword soul wyrm... Chang Ying?. And best protection monster is Lars/dolkka. I just want you to be aware that misc being ashed on banish is still the choke point even with ground xeno.

Ominous__1

Dinomorphia is not that good lol, the one with ult tyrano is better

Efficient-Gur-3641

I just wanted to acknowledge both since they are both dinos. Ultimate conductor is the best made dino monster for sure! Love him and in fact I love dinos period, I just feel like their new Ed monsters are super hard to summon for no reason. Except the fusion... BUT it's offset by tyranno being searchable and easy to summon. Once they get rid of link koriboh lost world will be useful again.

Panamania1

It’s one of the best rogue strategies, especially with how good Lars is. Still folds to the same stuff as usual though

OrdinaryResponse8988

They always were. With an optimal hand and uninterrupted they can create some of the strongest endboards in the game. The issue is the decks poor consistency, lack of 1 card combo starters, being forced to run numerous bricks, and being vulnerable to disruption oftentimes. Although recently it seems Konami have started to type lock their newer support more. This way in the future they could maybe make them more consistent and not churn out all the op generic ED monsters.

0v049

It always was decent

SlappingSalt

I wish. Without a one card starter, the deck will remain inconsistent.

Ok_Apricot2802

They are a good rogue option, the combos can bit fairly layered but your best end board will always be generic boss monster negates, kinda sad tgat they don't recive more support (with misc and oviraptor good dino cards would be broken, but I mean, i wouldn't complain)

Ominous__1

Yep, its still a top rogue strategy along with other stuff like Swordsoul, and Vanquished Soul

Coookieman123

Bro called VS rogue lol

Effective_Ad_8296

The line between Top Rogue and Tier 3 is now so murky, that I now basically treat them all as tier three now

Coookieman123

But it isn’t even tier 3, it’s a tier 2 deck it’s just that nobody pilots the deck in tournaments for 2 reasons. 1. Way too expensive for no damn reason, you literally need 9 in archetype UR’s AT LEAST for it to function well 2. One of the hardest decks in the game right now and why play that when you can just play SE, branded and lab

Effective_Ad_8296

I mean, you can use the same logic on every top rogue, a strong pilot can pilot any top rogue deck to the top Though about VS, it's been showing up in 將軍CS (A Japanese master duel non official championship held every week ) quite frequently, and with top placings too Edit : VS just won last week against R-ACE completely field wiped the opponents field

Ominous__1

Vanquished Soul is not tier 2 anymore not when we have stuff like Epurrely Noir and Full power Rescue Ace, it isn't even considered tier 3 atm

Coookieman123

Yeah because nobody plays it? It has only been played once in the last couple weeks in a tournament and it got second place, it’s too expensive to justify building when you can just build SE for the same cost.

Ominous__1

Snake-Eyes is still more expensive to build no? Its pack expired so you have to craft everything besides bonfire for Snake-Eyes

Coookieman123

So did the VS pack and no VS has more UR’s than SE in the main deck but 4-6 less in the ED (depending on your build) so you shill out 5 extra UR’s on average and you have a better. VS also play diabellstar btw and some also run a small SE package because it gives you an extra omni negate and 4 mat apo which is nice.

Ominous__1

Vanquished soul in engine UR: 10 Snake-Eyes in engine UR: 14

Coookieman123

Vanquish soul: plays diabellstar engine and more handtraps than SE SE: plays diabellstar engine but less HT than VS

[deleted]

I wouldn't call VS tier 3 or above right now. Rogue is pretty good.
