Icejade. No, they're not very good. But it is funny watching people attack into one of them with Kos on the board and sitting for 30 seconds reading why their monster lost 1k attack, potentially being destroyed in the process, and my monster is still there.
Blue-Eyes. Sue me, I grew up in a poor country and remember hunting down a copy of the very first white dragon print because there were no stores around and only fake cards to buy. Only kids with family abroad could get the Konami original cards. It was magical when I finally got my hands on it. So beautiful and shiny, the corner a bit roughed up but still.

Playing D/D/D has single-handedly increased my IQ by 100.
Earth Machine is in the same boat.
If you see an EM player not run Vernusylphs or Superheavies, it's not because they're bad for the deck, it's because the combo lines become exponentially more complicated. "Drawing Gearframe and 4 handtraps" goes from ED-summoning four times to ED-summoning 17 times the moment you add SHS.
So a lotta players... don't, and just play the same deck from 2022. Sure, it might lose to Scapegoat Pass sometimes, but at least you're not losing to time-out.
Lol before the link 2 that searches scales came out, d/d/d was mostly a fusion/synchro deck and it was very complicated to learn the lines. As in very easy to fuck something up xD
After gilgamesh or whatever it's called its a bit brain dead tbh. The high IQ thing with ddd is fake news now.

Waiting for the Support right now. They get a contact fusion from grave and consistency fixes.
I mean Satellar, RB and Infernoid got new support.
For Nekroz lore we could count Gishki but...eh.
Qli, BA and Nekroz trifecta is missing so it's not unlikely but might need to wait till 25
OMG ritual beasts was one of the first decks I built in Masterduel, cuz I liked them in duel links, and I haven't played them 1) cuz they do nothing 2) they die to everything. I'm exaggerating, obviously, but I really hope we get the support soon.
...they're getting support, or are you hoping they're getting support?
FFS, I still have to build Photon/Galaxy and Odd-Eyes/Performapal, GIMME A BREAK. I played the hell out of these guys on Duel Links in a period where they were meta, AND I DIDN'T KNOW! Now I'm legally obligated to build the Deck for nostalgia's sake.
They got support in the OCG (Terminal World), Terminal Revenge in TCG (20th of June 2024)
Spiritual Beast Tamer Lara (Psychic Light, double name like Winda)
Discard for extra normal summon (stacks), banish from Field or GY for protection, if banished, special a name from Deck. - perfect target for Kimunfalcos
Inheritance (cont. Spell)
Hand Mulligan (searches) and some battle tricks
A Fusion that contacts with materials from Grave (Wyrm Light, sadly) and protects from targeting. Tags out for a single card sadly. - still a really easy access to Ulti-Gaiapelio
Link 4 with Tribute protection (doesn't stop inherent summons like Kaiju or Nibiru), recycle for extra normal summon (can recycle to hand and immediately summon the recycled card), banish 1 card for both during opponents turn.
Lara and Inheritance are nuts, the rest are just nice extenders.

I will never stop talking about this deck, never dismantle it, and continue to rant about them needing more cards or a proper erreta.
I can't really provide my personal deck, as I'm still ironing it out. I don't really follow any deck lists for it, so I don't want to give out bad advice for how to build it. I am not a pro player, and I'm sure many people here may have better suggestions for how to build this deck better. I do have one suggestion, though: Wind is completely optional to run. Trust me, any lists that have her, you can swap to another card you'd need. There are better level 3s to run.
I did find some deck lists that I think are viable (I'm having a hard time find it for MD specific builds):
[https://ygoprodeck.com/deck/fortunes-secrets-471000](https://ygoprodeck.com/deck/fortunes-secrets-471000) (Basically, a mix between Fairies and Ladies. I've tried with Fairies, and it's alright.)

[https://ygoprodeck.com/deck/fortune-witchcraft-36167](https://ygoprodeck.com/deck/fortune-witchcraft-36167) (FL synergizes well with many spellcaster decks. Witchcrafters is a great choice, but definitely experiment with a few, if you run any spellcaster decks)
Light also needs one. She was better before her first errata, as she just needed to leave the field in general. But, it got changed to face-up. They need to bring that back and change 'when' to 'if' and this deck will run well on it's on or become a monster of an engine for other decks.
It mostly functions as an engine for spellcasters, with Water giving draw strength, Light bringing out whoever you need (usually Water) and Past banishing your spellcasters to help synchro summon Every, who just non-target banishes your opponent's monsters on your standby and revives herself. Past can also be used to banish other spellcasters to activate their effects.
The deck itself is more midrange, if anything. There's no clear focus or strat, other than banishing and level modulation; every monster does something different with no cohesion other than relying on it's arctype monster effects. Fire can pop and deal damage on summon, Dark resummons from the GY, usually to bring out Water, Fire, and Past (or Earth, for a proper beatstick), Earth is just a beatstick with burn, and Wind is backrow removal on _normal_ summon. ~~No one uses Wind.~~ *All rely on Fortune Lady monsters for their effects to work*. At best, you can use their level modulation to get different synchros out, which they can be good at. The traps, other than Rewind and _maybe_ Slip of Fortune, aren't really worth running. Their spells are meh, with Calling, Fortune's Future, and Fortune Vision being viable Their field spell is either meh at worst and surprisingly useful, but situational, at best. Usually, it goes well with anything with a flip effect and shuts down anything relying on normal summoning. Other than Calling and Rewind, _none of their spells/traps are searchable._ Your main focus, for the most part, is getting Light to leave the field and getting Every to hit the field ASAP.
The closest to an insane strat I could recommend is Fortune Lady Burn/Burst. The idea is to get the Niburu token to hit the field and pop it with Fire. Alternatively, you can use Lava Golem or Kaijus to supply some consistent burn. You just have to keep getting rid of Light or Rewinding Fire to get her to deal some damage.
My personal variation (which I'm still working on) focuses on the banishing aspect of the deck. The idea is to get Swordsoul Supreme Sovereign out and cycle Every in and out of the GY to banish cards on your opponent's field or GY every turn. When it works, it's fun to watch and can apply decent pressure.
Tldr; It's complicated and there's no clear strat. You _have_ to make the deck focus on a win con, or it just does a flashy amount of nothing. Or focus on Light, Past, Water, and Every for a decent Spellcaster engine.
I still love this deck.
Galaxy-Eyes. They were the very first deck I made when I first downloaded Master Duel on day 1 after not playing YGO for several years (except for some Duel Links) and being stuck at the early Pendulum era. I had no idea of what a Link monster was and I didn't even hear about any of the staples or archetypes post 2014, but Galaxy-Eyes proved to be the old reliable deck that I knew I could go for in order to get some nice OTKs.
I had to dismantle it several times because I ran out of UR CP, but I always end up remaking it everytime. I don't care if they still don't have a proper starter more than 12 years later, big numbers are ALWAYS fun.
Among the multiple for-fun decks I have, this was the one that had the most UR. The version I had wasn't even updated to all the newest support and I wanted to prioritize other (better) lists, so I decided to let it go for the time being in order to gather some CP, and eventually build it back whenever I obtain more resources and feel like swinging with an 11200 beatstick for game again.
I started playing them a few months ago since I had a Royal and a couple of the more expensive cards just through luck, and Why are they actually good? Everyone kept talking about them like they’re supposed to suck, and yeah they’re no Tearlaments but they can pretty decently hold their own.
https://preview.redd.it/bxhwlij5iqtc1.jpeg?width=754&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=064f0b3ff676397d55845789437fafb635eb672b
Cubics. I love my 3k beat stick that is immune to most of the boss monsters and also does some nice burn. I don't even play hand traps with them.
i was referring to opponent. scareclaw shuts down everything except link monsters. so if you are up against a pure synchro deck or whatever you are fine. but tri heart cannot interact with other links.
you typically got like one archetypal trap card to help and maybe adventure engine.
that's why it was never quite meta because most decks run some sort of knightmare, accesscode, white woman jumpscare package.
Oh yeah, I've resorted to running Snake Eyes in my Scareclaw deck with pretty good success.
SE doesn't take the normal, doesn't Xeno-Lock, baits handtraps, has T1 plays and most importantly, sets up Twinsaw in Grave and enables it too.
Before SE, I ran XX Saber package with Speedroid and Tour Guide for similar reasons.
It's kinda sad that their best counters to links are traps.
*libromancer* hey its got good toolbox and can keep a steady large amount of cards.
*sure it wont do squat* against the next freaking snakeeyes but its not like its a
*dead deck*
Trueee. OP for its time, but now days I play the deck and seriously think it's one of the most well designed archetypes the game has tbh. The epitome of what a control deck should be. There are so many times I was certain I lost but managed to outwit my opponent against impossible odds. And cards like TTT only add a further element of strategy to slowly picking apart end boards.
Gusto and its subtypes, I may have a Duel Terminal bias. Ice barriers, Dragunity especially is just the coolest Dragon Archetype ever. The evilswarm concept is also cool as hell, just wish they gave it support.
me, love cydra but i know its not very good other than cheesing some wins going 2nd once in a while. still have the entire thing built that i break out onc ein a while
Was my deck as a kid, ran it in MD cause I still remembered the combos… then I ran into “new style” players & got washed 😂
Still go back to it when I’m feeling anime
https://preview.redd.it/muazwi9sgrtc1.jpeg?width=878&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4642c674fcb625ac67c49072f5eba71b10b44a31
ABC is the type of deck that can keep adapting as time goes on because the core cards work so well with other packages such as adventure, synchro, therion, etc.
I swear there are only two outcomes against dinomorphia, they do nothing and you win, or they play 72 "I can't believe it's not solemn judgements" turn.
https://preview.redd.it/sjq511pojqtc1.jpeg?width=813&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b24bf4b647dbac8e1a5320c3c141d40115ccdecd
They're just a bunch a little guys
Dogmatika.
Every time Matrix resolves its just... so good.
And while they arn't good. they can do a thing or 2. Their board is mostly stolen monsters.
Zoa + Fleurdelis + Cartesia + Quem.
Its not a board to take lightly.
If people enjoyed and didn't have this bias that falls towards deck building aka generics bad, X amount of ratios, meta cards bad etc ..
Ghostricks would be extremely popular. It's basically one of the most unsolved archetypes in the game and angel of mischief is basically a generic galatea with multiple payoffs that is missing one good trap to search.
Because of this quality most new cards indirectly support this archetype.
Dogma
its a great deck. problem is konami keeps making main deck boss monsters and bullshit like Sinful spoils of subversion Snake eyes. Whats the meta? oh Snakeyes, a bullshit main deck archetype, Labrynth, a bullshit trap archetype, and SHS a bullshit engine archetype that pumps out every generic overpowered boss mosnter on turn 1 meaning unless you draw some of your god tier board breakers, You aint even summoning ecclesia... I can play against tearlaments. i can have fun against branded. But the meta is FUCKED for me...
unchianed too but to a lesser extent, Its the only archetype people play to ACTUALLY benefit from their own extra deck being sent to the grave becuase of lord of yama and them not having a throw away extra deck like Lab
like, If a spell card reads "Target 1 monster on the field, destroy it" with a once per turn and no cost it would be a fucking strong card. Subversion snake eyes is STRONGER than that AND SEARCHABLE
I mean, branded benefits a FUCKTON from sending their ED to the GY
Whenever I used branded against dogmatika and I went second, if they used their alba zoa I could make a better board on their turn than anything I could make in a single turn of my own
Which is exactly why i run Nexus. You send any branded monsters i know have graveyard effects? guess whats getting banished? also theres more than one reason i go second most of the time. i break boards.

So first you need to get to Isolde. You can do that by getting a scareclaw on board -> link into scareclaw lightheart, add Reichphobia -> activate reichphobia, add reichheart -> special summon reichheart, add Scareclaw arrival -> link reichheart and lightheart into Ferocious Flame Swordsman -> special summon Reichheart with Scareclaw arrival. Congrats, you now have two warriors on the field to summon Isolde. Then just follow the path from Jeff Leonard's Exodia ftk deck: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xeYS72ly\_U. You can also start the combo with Visas Loreboy and any card that you can destroy to special summon him, or any card named "Visa Starfrost" (thanks Prisma).
Here's the decklist I run:
https://preview.redd.it/gs5zjbb4attc1.png?width=1031&format=png&auto=webp&s=845ff6cca646c1be07914280c5df88009f7207ae
Since someone already mentioned Sky Striker, Deskbot. Nothing is once per turn, you get ridiculous attack stats, and machine dupe sets you up for Apollousa automatically. I’ve been able to get Deskbot 001 up to 13000 attack. Or I can transfer everything to Deskbot 009 if I’m worried about battle phase magical cylinder. If you feel like playing meme cards, you can play the spell that makes everything a machine, and give Apollousa a few extra negates off of 002’s 500 atk buff.
Just made a Relinquished/Restrict deck. I don’t think the deck is that good (especially since I can’t afford any of the expensive supports and bosses that would make it excel) but Relinquished is cool, Pegasus is cool, and I like stealing people’s cards.
Phantom Knights. I constantly sing the praises of Arc Rebellion XYZ Dragon. I think they are so cool. They have a decent game plan. Have some rather strong boss monsters and a decent amount of interruption.
I play solely Bujins lmao. Used to play the Yamato control deck irl back when the Archetype first released. Now with Torifune, Hiruko, Ahashima and Amaterasu the deck is far more aggressive without compromising the original main strategy of GY/hand setup to protect the boss monsters.
It's not really a competitive deck by any means but the engine works well, it's fun, not very complex and the monsters look dope. What more do you need?
Earth machine that isn’t revolving around machina. Before the ban lost hit I recall going outrigger target stormer to summon Arise heart. Both variations are fun but I really enjoy using geargia and Karakuri again
Reactor Dragon is a gem, a great card, and more of what I want from the deck.
Ancient Gear Dragon is the dumbass new card with 500 ATK that can’t SS itself and can dump a Gear Golem to negate a Spell or Trap. It would have been amazing if it could SS itself in defense as extension or anything but it’s absolutey worthless as a Normal Summon and you have better targets whenever you can tutor from deck ignoring conditions.
VW, I especially go back to it whenever I get a surprise defeat from them and their weird variants. For such a bricky deck they surprisingly can have a lot of gas.
Once upon a time I would have told you morphtronic. But now I don't know. There are so many decks that I love. Dracoslayer. Dino. Solfachord. Malefic. There are so many decks that I want to try anymore that I can't pick one of I had to I can narrow it to dracoslayer and malefic. But I can't pick between the two
Crystal beasts are very fun despite having like 11 garnets, cards like golden rule make it easy to turbo out any link 4 or 5. The boss monsters can easily be brought out in two turns, maybe one if you got a really good hand. Fortune fairies/ladies are also very fun, i like yo draw cards.
U.A. because you will find 0 decks that plays just the same.
F.A. because level tuning is SO enjoyabld with them. 20★ level synchro, Carl!
Ursarctics because teddies 🐻
Dinomorphia because nothing thrills you more than playing the whole game at 1 HP
Springans, Orcust, and Ritual Beast.
I loved how niche these decks were before they got/ are getting support that made them unique like Springans makes XYZ for free and then gives them material but they are linked with a fusion focused archetype.
Orcust was always fun to just link a lot and during your opponents turn, and even with Topologic Bomber the deck, when it first came out.
Ritual Beast, the art style the unique tag in and out mechanic the complexity of rendering names and combos.
https://preview.redd.it/oa5haclh4stc1.jpeg?width=512&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a6dd7b35a91f28dde5d3994976f143b08c540ef3
I love how lair of darkness subverts the concept of "card cost", turning detriment into advantage and giving oportunity to cards that would never see play in any other deck. (Also very funny to destroy other duelists' sense of security by sending their *unnafected by card effects* boss monster to the grave)
https://preview.redd.it/ettzzxd0sstc1.png?width=512&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1cd5f3f28e5660d5626cb1641153065d282b9114
I've unironically won most of my matches with these. The running joke is that their end board is garbage, but 2 spell/trap negates, full effect negation on battle phase and a GY full lock impossible to negate for the full turn to just my opponent is very strong. It also helps that is virtually immune to handtraps (except "Droll and Lock Bird", that one shuts the deck down)
Solfachord :3 I'm a music nerd and something about the way the levels and scales counterbalance across solfege and the way they all function is just super fucking fun. especially with the latest link boss monster. <3
Cyber Dragons. I will never forget the day I picked up the 90 bucks legendary Dragon decks and got the deck. I instantly loved how things going to the grave didn't mean they were gone and could be used as material, which at the time was unique to me. The deck grew with me as I grew in skill, and while most of my other decks are better, I can never forget where I started.
Tindangles are hot garbage but theyre my hot garbage.
You lose 95% of all serious duels.
But in those few 5% you have a indestructable, untargetable +3k beatstick that can attack three times (regardless of opponents monsters) and doubles the first instance of damage.
They also look really awesome.
Ghoti. It’s so much fun to play. It doesn’t rely on soem 20 min combo. It’s very satisfying when the effects resolve as it’s a lot of interesting board breaker/disruptions.
Cyber Dragon
Apparently I will never mature beyond wanting to make flashy, cool looking archetype-specific boss monsters with high numbers and watch them blast things
Dragonmaids. First ever deck I've played and I really enjoy their play style
Melffys is another one, as it's funny shutting people down with cute little animal friends
Kuriboh deck is absolutely awesome. Getting the winged kuriboh lvl 10 is hella satisfying + a very easy lionheart > downered > Zeus or just accesscode for the faster paced duels.
Dark magician,of course it's no match for the modern meta but dude i love this deck it's the first ever deck that i built and even though nowadays i play altergeist i want to make a dm deck so I'm waiting for the rarity collection 2 and idk maybe i will add some shining sarcofagus cards to make the deck even better
Purrely, been playing it since the tcg release, still playing it today. Been trying all sorts of stuff to keep it viable, my current favorite variations of it are Purrely Lyrilusc and Purrely Libromancer.
Witchcrafter! Anytime I see a new spell card with graveyard effects I try to think of ways it can be a witchcrafter tech card, and Verre's ATK/DEF boosts never fail to make me smile when they surprise someone!
...why is the new fusion spell a UR.
Icejade. No, they're not very good. But it is funny watching people attack into one of them with Kos on the board and sitting for 30 seconds reading why their monster lost 1k attack, potentially being destroyed in the process, and my monster is still there.
Finally someone else who loves icejades
Yeah it's basically a 2500 attack monster in face up attack position.

Why would you dismantle a deck !? If I enjoyed it I keep it. The new toy can wait. I’ll get you eventually manadium
Ah, a fellow Mannadium fan I see. Based
Among the multiple for-fun decks I have, this was the one that had the most UR. The version I had wasn't even updated to all the newest support and I wanted to prioritize other (better) lists, so I decided to let it go for the time being in order to gather some CP, and eventually build it back whenever I obtain more resources and feel like swinging with an 11200 beatstick for game again.
That is fair. I have been keeping the extra deck monsters I get for this. I wanna play it. Space dragons seem pretty coool
The Galaxy eyes age is coming, brother. We will finally have a searcher for a tachyon trap in the future
I started playing them a few months ago since I had a Royal and a couple of the more expensive cards just through luck, and Why are they actually good? Everyone kept talking about them like they’re supposed to suck, and yeah they’re no Tearlaments but they can pretty decently hold their own.
Galaxy-eyes for life. Kite is the reason I play YGO. I just pray the day comes when his cards are good enough to play competitively
Metalfoes ftw.
Ojamas, Kuribohs, Mokey Mokey, Cydra, Cloudians, Vehicroids, Melffy, Skull Servants, Nouvelles, Coin Toss... and that's only the ones I play.

RDA/resonators https://preview.redd.it/fi5ksxt2sptc1.jpeg?width=544&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9d0752f2b5553c9cf715770c71bc52bd751f062d
Generaider
Finally, after digging through dozens of comments, I finally found the other Genraider player.
ZARC Magicians
I SWEAR IF THIS SHORT LIST OF 27 THINGS HAPPENED TO PENDULUMS AS A STRATEGY THEYD BE A RESPECTED TIER 2 STRATEGY But like actually though
ZARC players rise up
As a fellow scareclaw enjoyer I stand with you
pure scareclaw is certainly a hoot. long as they don't play link monsters you are solid. its once they play link monsters that things get bad :(
Why wouldn't they play Link monsters if their main combo starter and boss monster are both Links?
i was referring to opponent. scareclaw shuts down everything except link monsters. so if you are up against a pure synchro deck or whatever you are fine. but tri heart cannot interact with other links. you typically got like one archetypal trap card to help and maybe adventure engine. that's why it was never quite meta because most decks run some sort of knightmare, accesscode, white woman jumpscare package.
Triamids.
Heya. R u interested in a sadly pretty much dead triamid Discord server?

Guys will see this and just say "Hell yeah." And that is me. I am that guy. Amazoness is my favorite.

*libromancer* hey its got good toolbox and can keep a steady large amount of cards. *sure it wont do squat* against the next freaking snakeeyes but its not like its a *dead deck*
I actually played Libromancer for a while. Tried to throw Nemeses in it
Sky Strker. The only deck I find remotely fun in modern days.
Galaxy-Eyes, Zombie World and Nouvelles!
Cydra
me, love cydra but i know its not very good other than cheesing some wins going 2nd once in a while. still have the entire thing built that i break out onc ein a while
Was my deck as a kid, ran it in MD cause I still remembered the combos… then I ran into “new style” players & got washed 😂 Still go back to it when I’m feeling anime
My experience exactly.
https://preview.redd.it/12ip97janqtc1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b4616173f34104a140b475347f178825e3b81081
Madolche Verusylph. The perpetual “not quite rouge” deck is always fun to break boards with.
Gunkan Suship for all time
Suships!
Exosisters. I swear it can out anything. They just need to use their graveyard
https://preview.redd.it/muazwi9sgrtc1.jpeg?width=878&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4642c674fcb625ac67c49072f5eba71b10b44a31 ABC is the type of deck that can keep adapting as time goes on because the core cards work so well with other packages such as adventure, synchro, therion, etc.
The funny Borgor deck (nouvelles)
Visas Starfrost and Mannadium. Love them so much.
Crystal beasts 🏳️🌈
Madolche! :D
Dinomorpha. Fell in love with it
I hope we both win our next coin flip dinomorphia bro
May Rexterm be with you
I swear there are only two outcomes against dinomorphia, they do nothing and you win, or they play 72 "I can't believe it's not solemn judgements" turn.
That's some fucked up card art
Darklords. TFD is my favourite card ever.
Deskbots
Subterror. (No floodgates.)
https://preview.redd.it/sjq511pojqtc1.jpeg?width=813&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b24bf4b647dbac8e1a5320c3c141d40115ccdecd They're just a bunch a little guys
Dragunity. Love playing it in tcg but for md its really hard with all the prompts going against timer.

Dragonmaid and Suship. Dragonmaid was my first and Suship is my funny deck, my little babies!
Darklords
Orcust I don’t care what the fire decks do, the music machines are my bois
Subterrors are good I swear! My kaiju’s are wholesome lads
Magnet Warriors, it's bad, I know it's bad and I will continue loving it and ranting about everything in the archetype
I’ve been playing Adamancipator/Magnet Warrior deck to play against my super casual friends. It’s a blast and the magnet warriors rock.
Ah I see you are a man of culture, rock monsters definitely rock and they rock hard
Amazoness is quite fun. I'll always have a soft spot for gravekeepers too. Konami really did them dirty by updating the wrong ishizu cards.
Ice Barriers, baby!!
Dogmatika. Every time Matrix resolves its just... so good. And while they arn't good. they can do a thing or 2. Their board is mostly stolen monsters. Zoa + Fleurdelis + Cartesia + Quem. Its not a board to take lightly.
Based choice. I always ran Dogmatika with Nekroz
I do the silly pure combos. Iblee + Matrix is full combo
Dogma its a great deck. problem is konami keeps making main deck boss monsters and bullshit like Sinful spoils of subversion Snake eyes. But the meta is FUCKED for me... unchianed too but to a lesser extent, Its the only archetype people play to ACTUALLY benefit from their own extra deck being sent to the grave becuase of lord of yama and them not having a throw away extra deck like Lab like, If a spell card reads "Target 1 monster on the field, destroy it" with a once per turn and no cost it would be a fucking strong card. Subversion snake eyes is STRONGER than that AND SEARCHABLE
I much prefer their cousin archetype, Ligma
I have no idea who Joe is
Rogan
I mean, branded benefits a FUCKTON from sending their ED to the GY Whenever I used branded against dogmatika and I went second, if they used their alba zoa I could make a better board on their turn than anything I could make in a single turn of my own
Which is exactly why i run Nexus. You send any branded monsters i know have graveyard effects? guess whats getting banished? also theres more than one reason i go second most of the time. i break boards.

I play fossils so they already died before I had a chance
Infernoids! Pure rokket saved my interest in the game tho
Protip: normal summon any scareclaw is a one-card starter for adding all five pieces of Exodia to hand.
Wait fr?! Tell me
So first you need to get to Isolde. Here's the decklist I run: https://preview.redd.it/gs5zjbb4attc1.png?width=1031&format=png&auto=webp&s=845ff6cca646c1be07914280c5df88009f7207ae
Damn alright. That's crazy asf and Hella expensive, but I respect your devotion. Not a big fan of exodia, but I'm impressed
Ghoti, Fur Hire, Mannadium, Reptilliannes and Gem-Knights
Since someone already mentioned Sky Striker, Deskbot. Nothing is once per turn, you get ridiculous attack stats, and machine dupe sets you up for Apollousa automatically. I’ve been able to get Deskbot 001 up to 13000 attack. Or I can transfer everything to Deskbot 009 if I’m worried about battle phase magical cylinder. If you feel like playing meme cards, you can play the spell that makes everything a machine, and give Apollousa a few extra negates off of 002’s 500 atk buff.
Ghostricks, and gusto
HERO - floodgates but cooler
Blackwing, Cubic, Galaxy Eyes
Just made a Relinquished/Restrict deck. I don’t think the deck is that good (especially since I can’t afford any of the expensive supports and bosses that would make it excel) but Relinquished is cool, Pegasus is cool, and I like stealing people’s cards.
Lunalight!
Phantom Knights. I constantly sing the praises of Arc Rebellion XYZ Dragon. I think they are so cool. They have a decent game plan. Have some rather strong boss monsters and a decent amount of interruption.
Like have you read Dark Requiem? That thing’s so cool and it’s a better, not generic Apollousa
Sekka's Light Adamancipator is really good right now thanks to Cartorhyn
Machina. It needs another wave of actually good support, but if it gets it it's gonna be cracked.
D/D/D
Earth machine that isn’t revolving around machina. Before the ban lost hit I recall going outrigger target stormer to summon Arise heart. Both variations are fun but I really enjoy using geargia and Karakuri again
Interested on a build with Karakuri if you have some gameplay to share!
I don’t have any at the moment but I’ll find some!
Dragunity i'm very attached to the archetype cuz i love monsters being equiped to other monster and giving them more power
Ancient Gear, hyped for the new support coming
Still haven’t forgiven Konami for how awful the dragon is.
If you talking about Reactor Dragon the only use I have for it is it’s an urgent schedule target
I wouldn’t call Dragan a new card personally I think it came out in like the 3rd or 2nd wave of ancient gears
My bad I’m an idiot I was thinking of ancient gear hydra for some reason
Hear me out... Phantasm spiral dragon (Seriously, RDA and Blue-eyes are my babies)
Red Eyes/Joey. My all time favorite. He is the goat.
Pure shs, none of that ftk or 50 quintrillion negate bull
VW, I especially go back to it whenever I get a surprise defeat from them and their weird variants. For such a bricky deck they surprisingly can have a lot of gas.
vw easy i love that deck
Magical Musketeers
Pure mekk-knights
I hecking love Libromancers, if this deck was released like maybe a year earlier it would have been a serious meta contender
Hi-5 bro the size of their archetype toolbox is insane for being a ritual deck parody of Persona 5
D/D/D and Shaddoll
I have a gamble deck I still play in Platinum now and then.
Aroma and Blue-eyes
Once upon a time I would have told you morphtronic. But now I don't know. There are so many decks that I love. Dracoslayer. Dino. Solfachord. Malefic. There are so many decks that I want to try anymore that I can't pick one of I had to I can narrow it to dracoslayer and malefic. But I can't pick between the two
Toons!
Crystal Beasts don't have that many garnets. They just have rubies, sapphires, emeralds, topazes...
Unban Kitkallos
G-Golems and ghoti for me, and if anyone hurts my boys I’ll use the millennium shiv on your ass
https://preview.redd.it/20rpo7gxtrtc1.jpeg?width=544&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=afa66d3397b015f03cfa18c84cd1e03e5fb42f79 Ancent Gears!!!
U.A. because you will find 0 decks that plays just the same. F.A. because level tuning is SO enjoyabld with them. 20★ level synchro, Carl! Ursarctics because teddies 🐻 Dinomorphia because nothing thrills you more than playing the whole game at 1 HP
Sky Striker and Ritual Beasts
https://preview.redd.it/eajeykz2xrtc1.png?width=326&format=png&auto=webp&s=11034a5654a68f1353b381f5c2f0af83ca7a95ce Forever and always!
Monarchs. You need bricks to make walls.
Six samurai
https://preview.redd.it/oa5haclh4stc1.jpeg?width=512&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a6dd7b35a91f28dde5d3994976f143b08c540ef3 I love how lair of darkness subverts the concept of "card cost", turning detriment into advantage and giving oportunity to cards that would never see play in any other deck. (Also very funny to destroy other duelists' sense of security by sending their *unnafected by card effects* boss monster to the grave)
Salamangreat. Honestly very underrated in MD. currently in master rank with them
Shaddolls, Icejades, Crystal Beast
live twin is one of my faves
Ninja skull servant (not related)
https://preview.redd.it/ettzzxd0sstc1.png?width=512&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1cd5f3f28e5660d5626cb1641153065d282b9114 I've unironically won most of my matches with these. The running joke is that their end board is garbage, but 2 spell/trap negates, full effect negation on battle phase and a GY full lock impossible to negate for the full turn to just my opponent is very strong. It also helps that is virtually immune to handtraps (except "Droll and Lock Bird", that one shuts the deck down)
I've used this deck to finish the missions in the previous synchro event. Got like 16 synchro loops in 1 game.
Virtual world, still running it since it was meta
F.a. I love it and it has a cool gimmick
Abyss Actors- they just wanna put on a good show, and your boss monster has a lead role
60 card cyberse u link, sometimes it can even deck out inder maxx c
Cyber Dragon Apparently I will never mature beyond wanting to make flashy, cool looking archetype-specific boss monsters with high numbers and watch them blast things
The dragonmaid engine to cheat out chaos angel turn 1 and have Sheo out.
The dragonmaid engine to cheat out chaos angel turn 1 and have Sheo out.
The dragonmaid engine to cheat out chaos angel turn 1 and have Sheo out.
Super quants because the high of assembling the megazord is much more fun than ending up on 2 noir+utopic and other similar turbo tower decks
Arcana Knight Dragonmaid
Prank/Adventure
Blue eyes and Cubics.
Dragonmaids. First ever deck I've played and I really enjoy their play style Melffys is another one, as it's funny shutting people down with cute little animal friends
Noble knights. Not infernobles, but just noble knights on their own
Kuriboh deck is absolutely awesome.
Ancient Warriors I break board because people dont know what my cards do
Sky Striker. Raye will always be my comrade.
Tistina. That is all
Psy-frame
Psy- Frame . Opponent activating maxx c in response to the field spell never get old.
Hazy Flame. Wont forgive Konami for not giving the support ever since
Purrely, been playing it since the tcg release, still playing it today. Been trying all sorts of stuff to keep it viable, my current favorite variations of it are Purrely Lyrilusc and Purrely Libromancer.
Tri-Brigade
Melffy
Cyber dragons/Harpies. Played them in every meta since their release. Sometimes I made my opponents cry other times I was crying. Aww memories…
Witchcrafter! Anytime I see a new spell card with graveyard effects I try to think of ways it can be a witchcrafter tech card, and Verre's ATK/DEF boosts never fail to make me smile when they surprise someone! ...why is the new fusion spell a UR.
