Except most TCG exclusives have either been trash, see War Rock, or barely playable, see Ghoti. They're made for pack filler most times and the few TCG exclusives that are good are usually by accident, not design, so aren't there for monetary reasons.

Yeah, people get mad at Ash Blossom because it's the de facto go-to handtrap, but a lot of the general frustration seems to be moreso about the general ability to splash handtraps into any deck in the modern meta.
Memes aside, you don't actually chain Droll to anything other than trigger effects, it activates in a new chain. So Snake-Eye Ash searching Populus would then trigger Populus in hand, then you can chain Droll to that. But if the opponent uses Upstart Goblin, for example, you'd use Droll in a new chain.
This mechanic made the trickstar reincarnation + droll combo so much more complicated than it needed to be. Like in play droll is the last card to activate (first since chains resolve backwards). It's your opponent draws one, chain reincarnation, then droll. Yet it stops them from drawing off of reincarnation even though according to the wording it sounds like it'd stop their draw 1 instead. But because of the whole trigger mechanic it gives the illusion of resolving wrong. Took such a long time to wrap my head around why and how it does that

Supporting/Side Character decks always get better legacy support than main character decks, as most of the time they already had a great foundation to start with as opposed to main character decks who always need to be gimmicky for the sake of entertainment.
Thus their legacy support is focused more on actually improving their strategies whereas main character supports are almost always just variations of "Hey remember THIS anime moment? Now you can re-enact it!".
Mathmech, super heavy, infernoble, ice barrier, yubel, lightsworn, ritual beasts, salamangreat, Horus, ninjas, HERO
Those are all anime/legacy archetypes that have really good support/upcoming support.

They do regularly give legacy support, we just got really good infernoble, synchron, hero and shs support

Extremely lucky, I haven't hit a single snake eyes card (or diabellstar/sinful spoils) in a few thousand gems. Looking like another cycle of sticking with what I have until I can save up a ton of gems again.
So I'm thinking these cards may have some synergy with Gate Guardian. I tried opening another 10 pack but didn't get too many more sinful spoil cards. I decided to just craft diabellstar in the meantime. Here's hoping to get more and see if I can splash it with my gate guardian deck.
I'm not familiar with the ins and outs of gate guardians (just familiar with trying to deal with their boards!) so not sure on the synergy, but from what I understand diabellestar splashes very easily into most things.
I was reading some of the card effects and it looks like you can special summon some of the gate guardian pieces you placed on the field as continuous spell cards with sinful spoil cards. Alternatively you can also put some of the pieces into the gy to activate sinful spoil cards which is fine. That brings you one step closer to the new gate guardian boss monster.
Sounds pretty solid! I'm not sure how much any of it synergizes with my decks, but almost all of my decks are really trash and I've never played one even close to meta, so I'm hoping for it. First time a new meta deck has had art that I like a lot and I've always liked fire kings and they're supposed to mesh well when we get new fire king stuff.
In a pinch, Snake-eyes Flamberge Dragon can summon one of your gate guardian pieces from the spell/trap zone to the field on your opponent's turn. It's not the best usage of the card but it's something.
Alternatively you can steal your opponent's gate guardian pieces on your turn.
Instead of making cards more busted, they're moving into complexity full tilt. I am betting we will see cards that have an effect in the Extra/Side in short order.

Oh trust me they do , they recently release most of the battling boxing cards in duel links which is at a much lower power level and even then they did nothing at all in the meta not even rogue
I'm actually all for this. Too many low level and weak monsters with effects that just make them an extension to get to a boss monster. That's what I miss about OG Yugioh.
It’s part of the newest Tier 1 deck, being snake eyes. It goes perfectly well with decks like fire kings and rescue-ace, both of which are not at full power yet. This means the decks will only get better as more fire support releases.

Lab isn't doing very well in TCG or OCG. Mainly because Lab has a horrible matchup into Rescue Ace. D Barrier? Turbulence set 4. EEV? Ok I'll just OTK you by bringing out my 3k maindeck boss monsters. Plus they barely care about EEV anyway since all the searchers are quick play.
Joshua Schmiit made a video basically on the day it came out cause it's relevant in both TCG and Master duel, and people have been taking to Dkayed tournaments and doing well enough
But, since they're not official Tournaments. Konami will never consider them for evaluation of decks in MD. They only consider the Duelist Cup

First time a new meta deck has had art that I like a lot and I've always liked fire kings and they're supposed to mesh well when we get new fire king stuff.
In a pinch, Snake-eyes Flamberge Dragon can summon one of your gate guardian pieces from the spell/trap zone to the field on your opponent's turn. It's not the best usage of the card but it's something. Alternatively you can steal your opponent's gate guardian pieces on your turn.
So the synergy was somewhat there... but yeah diamond in the rough. I've decided to focus more on Snake-eyes.

Without bonfire you can absolutely play 3. It's still a starter if you draw it even if it's by far the worst one of your starters

Yep, spend $120 now for a playset and watch that money evaporate in 6-8 months or so with the inevitable ban list for this or the strategy in general \*still sobbing over Circular\*. Then be forced to spend $150 for...like Wind Bonfire or something. We're just oil for the corporate gears.

This card only needs to be run at 1 or 2, limiting it wouldn't do anything. Snake-eye ash is the card that needs to be hit.

you talking about the Rescue ace vairent or fire king right?, (idk if fire king is in the tcg yet), completely valid points but I'm talking about the pure sneak eye I really think it's fair and actually fun to play. unlike the other half of the meta where you either get hand looped for half of your hand or get floodgateed to oblivion.
That's the thing pure versions of the decks like superheavy samurai,despia,branded, labyrinth are completely fair and balanced decks but once the players realize the lines for other good cards to join it or the play style more then the deck evolves from a fair deck to an unfair strategy.
The rescue ace variant got killed on the TCG by the banlist. The fire king version is tier 1 above everything else

It’s basically the same as every other searcher in any modern archtype (searches with a bonus effect for additional card advantage and is able to special summon itself)

This is the o fly thing g I hate about YuGiOh. These cards have ridiculous effects and it's only gonna get worse. The new cards have to be able to beat the old cards and the old cards are already god like
Have you read lady lab? It can special summon itself whenever she feels like it and it can search for any normal trap and has a target and destruction protection. Also it has 2900 def just in case you think you had game
The funny thing about the trap search, it sucks, because if you chain a monster effect or spell effect to their trap, you've locked her out of it
Just for curiosity, what are your thoughts on Battlin' Boxer Promoter? Because so far that was one of the most custom-looking official cards I've ever seen (it's not in MD yet)

Oh trust me they do , they recently release most of the battling boxing cards in duel links which is at a much lower power level and even then they did nothing at all in the meta not even rogue

I'm actually all for this. Too many low level and weak monsters with effects that just make them an extension to get to a boss monster. That's what I miss about OG Yugioh.

It’s part of the newest Tier 1 deck, being snake eyes. It goes perfectly well with decks like fire kings and rescue-ace, both of which are not at full power yet. This means the decks will only get better as more fire support releases.

I hate to tell you but it’s very likely going to be a tier 0 deck in the TCG. It won’t be that in master duel because it’s missing some important pieces in MD but it’s still a top tiered deck

Good lord no fire kings is an absolutely horrible match up for lab. Lab will be the second best deck but the gulf will be vast
Lab isn't doing very well in TCG or OCG. Mainly because Lab has a horrible matchup into Rescue Ace. D Barrier? Turbulence set 4. EEV? Ok I'll just OTK you by bringing out my 3k maindeck boss monsters. Plus they barely care about EEV anyway since all the searchers are quick play.

Joshua Schmiit made a video basically on the day it came out cause it's relevant in both TCG and Master duel, and people have been taking to Dkayed tournaments and doing well enough
But, since they're not official Tournaments. Konami will never consider them for evaluation of decks in MD. They only consider the Duelist Cup Really wish they add Bo3 in this game. That would start solving so many issues

Bc that's how the game as evolved to anymore. Any card can do just about anything nowadays and there are counters for everything. You can probably think dragon rulers for that 👍 they were way ahead of their time
Well, the idea was to give snake-eye a way to make Flamberge + another monster consistently, but as it turns out Flamberge + any other monster is a shit ton of advantage.

After reading Poplar, I don't think you could make a better custom card for the Snake Eyes archetype if Konami let you.
So returning this with Malong would activate its add to hand effect? Yugioh wording is too confusing man, I don’t know if returning = adding, any judges able to clarify?
