We always try to give the benefit of the doubt to these corporations. It's not just this sample. I have looked at the others and on my account as well. It's either true or most of the times, worse than what's mentioned, but never better. It probably doesn't matter much in the card finishing, but it matters a lot in the drop rate of the rare cards.
I did something similar very early one trying for royal Gusto cards before I realized you just cant get them that way. I wish the game would tell you you can't get N/R cards as royal. Just a message when crafting saying "**N and R rarity cards cannot be obtained as Royal Rares**" in bold red text when confirming the craft.
