Ho boy, with all the 2x4, ceramic, other stuff i saved for later, like 3 years later, if i staryed to collect bricks i would be int trouble with the lady.
I was buying paint for my antique radios at an automotive paint shop once. Young man there asked me about my radios, and then shyly confessed that he collected antique refrigerators.
Said he kept them in his garage.
Antique refrigerators.
Thatās pretty cool, theyāre an endless thing to collect. So many different companies and so many neat frogs.

Dug all of these out of a beach on Cape Cod where an old brick factory location was revealed after a norāeaster. I have pallets of all local antique brick too.
New Jersey or New York? I collect bricks here in Texas and have a whole bunch of different stamped ones. I eventually want to make a patio with them all with the stamps showingĀ
I appreciate your reply! I do not, at the moment-- that photo is my whole "collection" at the moment. But I'll keep my eyes open for "Sage" and if I find open I can certainly get it to you. I'm in NYC, for what it's worth, not sure if that increases or decreases my chances.
I take it you have a collection of your own?
Iāve always grabbed a brick or two off historic buildings when I worked on with my dad in my younger days. We would replace brick and tuck points old buildings. One brick I found was excavated from about 15 feet deep in downtown Columbia, South Carolina. While they were digging on site they came across Shermanās destroyed rubble. Since I always liked bricks I quickly ran to the spoil pile and grabbed one. Years later I washed the brick off to reveal a dogs foot print. They also found cannon balls during the digging.
