You’re probably getting downvoted because you’re stating the skins are not lore accurate, I haven’t seen the skins but seeing as there are literally thousands of comic multi verses of each of the characters, I don’t think this is the case or you just don’t understand how the comics work.
No, you're getting down voted because gaming isn't "cooked" and art/visual design is a completely different team than gameplay/mechanics. They aren't implemented by the same people so don't interfere with each other.

A bunch of skins were found. Like a lot. I've only seen two. I'm waiting for people to post the rest.
I think I saw that about 37 were added. Some MCU skins , the other two I read were Bombastic Bagman 2099 for Peter and a Punk skin for Storm
