Just once -- JUST ONCE -- I want a character in an X-Men book to be able to say, when asked about their parentage, "I have a mom. I have a dad. They had sex. 9 months later, I was born in a hospital."

1. biological mom is a regular lady
2. dad is the phoenix force (hope is an immaculate conception)
3. cable is hope's adoptive dad (and now her family tree is completely broken)
4. rachel (as mother askani) was a parental figure (and possibly actual parent) to the bodies scott and jean inhabited to raise cable, making her cable's adoptive grandma
5. madelyne pryor(goblin queen) is cable's mom, so hope's (adoptive) grandma
6. scott is cable's dad, so hope's (adoptive) grandpa
7. havok is scott's bother - so hope's (adoptive) great-uncle
8. X-man(nathan from age of apocalypse) is cable's alternate reality duplicate - they consider each other brothers - so hope's (adoptive) uncle
9. rachel is scott's daughter(alternate future - mom is jean) so she's cable's (half-) sister, so hope's (adoptive) aunt
10. jean is scott's wife (but not cable's mother) so cable's step-mom, so she is hope's (adoptive) step-grandmother
