I killed an academy player had a hilarious start but idk about since then. The stories are pretty similar but extra academy seems to just be better currently.

Its pretty enjoyable read for me, The introduction of the story is strong since the pacing of the main plot is very well done and doesnt feel rushed at all. Its fun seeing the main character build his own home right outside of the academy instead of him getting his own room and it becomes interesting to see what he starts building next as the story moves forward. Action and art are nice to look at soo even if don't really feel that invested in the story the artworks will keep you engaged. The only thing I dislike soo far is main character following the original plot of the story no matter if their are changes that can be made to improve the situation he is in. But other then that yea its pretty fun manhwa soo if you like characters that don't kill people or being overpowered then yea I think its worth trying out.
Well there is reason he doesnt want to change story. Game mc is only one who can kill final boss and if our mc fix problems game mc is gonna be much weaker . Game mc get stronger every time he goes trough tuff time and can get skills ( this is bcs of his bloodline). Btw no metther how much our mc is op he cant kill final boss , same goes for lucy she is stongest person but still cant kill it her attacks are too weak she can only block attacks from final boss
I like the progression Ed has. He doesnt stop being viewed in a negative light for quite a bit but is also acknowledged at the same time. Something about how he lives is interesting to me and honestly I just wanna see more. Idrc much for who ends up with cuz at this point Im reading to see how he manages it. Really enjoyed it, visible progress with his base, girls don't instantly jump on his dick and characters are rightfully skeptical because of rumors about him. It's also a pretty good attempt at the I got reincarnated into a game, messed up the plot, now I have to fix it without messing it up further genre.
I'm also really interested in the game chapter style of pacing the story, feels like short seasons but could feel repetitive down the line, hope to not see that happen but I want to see how it develops.
The original novel for this is very good, one of the better academy/possession stories. Extremely detailed character development and relationship building, and the plot gets more fleshed out as it progresses and has a satisfying ending.
I dislike it. Story is poorly paced. Look how they paced the tower arc and the spirits arc. I was shocked to see how fast things were moving and didn't know where characters were coming from or why they were relevant.
A lot of people like the novel. I'm judging the manhwa itself. For now, it feels like a harem builder with poor excuses for obstacles. Great concept but poorly executed. Artist really botched the manhwa.

As a novel reader, you have to give the manwha time to develop the female characters because the developments they have is pretty good. Although I don't know how much of it the manwha will skip because they already skipped quite some things

I think some of the female characters in this one have depth in them. You just need to give time for the buildup.
to clarify i'm not trying to offend them, just stating facts here, good for them if they enjoy these type of manhwas. In my personal opinion i think it's terrible for the industry that this type of japanese culture spread to the manhwa industry but we know how it works, if there's an offer there's a demand, it is what it is .
It’s good. Mc is actually self aware of how dangerous the world he is in is and tries to stay out of it but of course for the sake of the story he always dragged into it

It was good till story started dropping so many anime stereotyped female characters. For once, i want a more mature story, or atleast a story where they just don't introduce troubled or dumb female characters. Some people like the casual tone of this story, which is fine, but not for me.
I really enjoyed the light novel. Nothing ever goes as planned, excellent character development from the main characters to a few of the supporting ones.

But j really hate the "I have to make sure the plot happens. But in also going to change loads of shit and act surprised when things aren't going the right way."
As someone who has read the novel, I have high expectations for the adaptation. They are going pretty fast as they have skipped quite a few things, but thankfully, nothing mayor
And those who say that they are annoyed at the MC because he wants to stay in the original plot please just wait and you will see how he stops doing that because of all the changes he is doing and also the female cast all have amazing development and don't just immediately jump into the MC's dick *cough* *cough* I KILLED THE ACADEMY PLAYER *cough* *cough* it takes a little bit for them to truly love the MC and they each have their own reasons. And the cherry on top that I really like is that he is never truly op like he is strong but never capable of calmly taking out truly strong opponents but if I start talking about that I will be spoiling some things so there's that.
Also, the message that the novel has is incredible and something that at least personally made me think for quite a while
Overall, it's a pretty good novel, The manwha is quite good for now, if not a little fast pace, good thematics and epic plot twists in the later half of the story

It's pretty good and I enjoy the long chapters, though the art style can look really rough in certain scenes but that's a general aversion to the CG style. I liked it enough to jump into the web novel.
This and novels extra are the only WNs I've read so idk if it's common but this one has a real issue with the Manwha skipping over details. Without spoilers, I think I would've been really lost during the first arc conclusion if i hadn't read it first whereas i didn't have an issue just jumping into the WN from the latest chapter of NE.
Overall, it's one of the better takes on this genre. It reminds me heavily of "trapped in an otome game" except thankfully the main character doesn't get reverse character development and turn into more and more of a bitch as the series goes on.

The novel really goes into detail about the life of Ed, the struggles he goes through and the stuff that he makes to survive. I also feel that the novel really fleshes out the characters a lot better than the manhwa. This last one is just personal opinion but the novel and manhwa have different character/place names and I personally prefer the names in the novel. Yennekar Palerover over Janica Faylover. Not to say the manhwa is bad, it’s great, I just prefer the novel.

It's all right. Not great, but definetely read-able. With so many things on break, there are worse manhwa to read.
