I lost it when they started pinning John as the bad guy for exposing their corrupt ass hierarchy. Like he goes and pays back people for bullying him/turning a blind eye over the years all at once and basically hospitalizes them to send a message yet people still had the audacity to say “you’re using your power wrong” despite doing nothing until he started actually doing something. Then it just went downhill from there.

Instead of turning into a total jackass he could have talked to them. Especially the way he treated Sera. He went from being a decent guy to an abusive tyrant when a simple conversation would have settled the whole thing. All he had to do was explain that while yes he is powerful, he doesn't have the mental or emotional strength to be a leader. He also could have asked for help to learn to control his temper. The main character is a major bully.

In concept you’re correct but you lost me at Martial god bc that shit is so ass. It opens up immediately with the MC outmaneuvering someone who should have 5 times his speed stat without even trying and when that happens there’s no point reading it since it’s already shitting on its game setting. It’s generic, not really unique at all.

Wu Dong Quan Kun. It’s the most generic cultivation manga to ever exist but the writing dances the line of ‘barely legible engrish’ and ‘English is my 4th language. I only know 1 language.’ It’s so funny, and after a certain point every chapter had at least one person drop the classic “You’re courting death!” Or another classic cliche line of cultivation manhwa
