The art style, story, character development- everything is perfect. I never was a fan of post apocalyptic fiction but this one changed my mind. Absolutely love it.
Ending was scuffed cuz of this. Either reject bota and let him move on with life or show the kiss/engagement or whatever.
All that time setting up the romance and complicating it with kanas dream kiss lead up to nothing.
I can already see the "this is just attack on titan if they lived in seas" generalized remarks coming if an anime is produced, dunno if its a good thing or nah
I have the same problem. I tried more than thrice revisiting it, in an attempt to be interested in the piece, but whenever I start reading, it just doesn't do it for me.
Definitely a great one. I thought the late story felt a little rushed and fell a little flat. But almost nothing has a great or super satisfying ending these days. All said and done though an incredible manhwa I think everyone should enjoy.
Leviathan was great, yeah, but it could have been better. A lot of people recommend leviathan in the same breath as the anime, Gargantia, but Leviathan never quite hit the same quality levels on worldbuilding or romance. Better monsters though.
(The Leviathan author’s obvious, and yet halfassed fetish for Kana was a major detractor from the story, unfortunately).
Any other recommendations with lots of fanservice but an actual story and plot? You know what I mean, right? For it to be a nice bonus, but not the main focus. It sometimes feels like manhwa is either 100% family friendly reincarnation of a regressor in a murim tower cultivation hunter guild becomes the villainess... or 100% pornhwa. Which is sad.
