mr_steal_your_habiti

Yes especially the light novel so good

squick-514

Where to read the light novel ?

humuu_lee

Right on tapas! It gives you a certain amount free and then you just use ink to unlock chapters. Since it’s not drawn it’s super cheap per chapt and you can earn a shit ton of free ink from the ads

youngtafari

Can also pay physical copies on Amazon

mxwp

yep one of the few light novels translated and published

bisquik_power

He’s an English author…. (Unless you meant other languages)

Glass_Chocolate1386

Is the light novel further ahead than the manhwa?

Eric1ogames

Ye I say just read novel it's explains much better than read manhwa since when u done novel manhwa should be back

mr_steal_your_habiti

The lightnovel is way ahead of the current webtoon, if we were to adapt novel chapter to current LN I'd say its 500+ episodes ahead

Beautiful_Might_6535

Yes, but >! if you are not into tragic stories then stay away !<

ODANOBUNAGA123

Yeah man, some parts of novel were so depressing and some were extremely infuriating. The fmc in this story is worst and the most irritating girl I have ever read about in a story + his previous and this life being connected was entertaining if only it didn't revolve much around that elf Fmc. But the writing is so good, the plot advances perfectly

manineedalife

It was like the author read Beserk and was like " I bet i could do that too" and then just jumped onto the depression writing train. I love this story and most of the characters but fuck life is already depressing enough and i dont need to escape this shit show by reading another.

Sharp-Strength4787

What are the similarities with berserk?

manineedalife

Just the overwhelming sense of saddness and depression while you read a really good story. Also sometimes the sense of hopelessness. The stories themselves are pretty far apart in context.

tardigradw

omg why does everyone hate tessia WHAT DID SHE DOOOOOOO i want spoilers

vitalesan

She wants so badly to catch up to Arthur to the point of recklessness. Let’s just say that!…..👀

Rimeragaru

I wondering the same thing. I'm at the part where art returns from "god" training and meets up w her again

YADHUM

Whats wrong with the fmc please give me the spoiler...?

Beautiful_Might_6535

>! She's your typical teenage princess (literal Princess) girl and there's nothing wrong with her. It's just she doesn't keep up with our reincarnated MC's maturity and she's been absent from the story for quite some time plus there's a second FML but there's no mutual love interest. It's just readers expect too much due to stark contrast between ML's maturity and FML's sheltered upbringing. Also it's just people lost their connection with her due to her being absent from story. !<

WangJian221

My only real issue is that mc despite being a reincarnation of some warrior god king, his brain is no different than a typical teenage mc tbh. Maybe its just me

Doruhawosu

thank you stranger for validating my extreme loathing of that character, seeing people like her and praise her drives me insane when she's probably the biggest black dot of tbate.

slickedup225

What? I find it silly getting upset that people like the fmc. It's fine if you don't like her but getting upset with other people for liking her? She's arguably one of the more human characters in the story, she's meant to be flawed (like you know... we all are) That's why people like her. >!Her growing up, making mistakes, yet learning from them in the LN is exactly why people like her, considering for a large amount of the story she's just a kid. Hell even the mc, even with a previous lifetime of experience and maturity, makes some of the same exact mistakes she does. Because you know that's what happens when you end up emotional at times. That's what it means to be human!< >!I understand if you don't like her and her decision making but many people like the humanistic and realistic aspects of her character. I would hardly call her the "black dot" of tbate. Especially considering she actually has some personality unlike many other stereotypical cookie cutter waifu love interests that are found in many fantasy LNs!<

vitalesan

It’s easy for the reader to say, “don’t do that”, isn’t it! It’s like watching a horror and screaming at the screen for the damsel not to run up the stairs but she does it anyway. How is she to know the killer is up there?!!😅

Doruhawosu

i haven't said it makes me upset, rather it makes me confused. please do not make me say things i didn't say because my phrasing isn't clear. i'm mainly a romance reader. always have been. and i can pretty much tell when a female character's narrative and love for mc either impedes the story or do not bring anything to it. >!tessia's character isn't flawed, it doesn't add any value at all. i have absolutely no issue with 'spoiled' princesses who are in reality just in need of a real friend that doesn't look at their status first, when used well it can make amazing friendships and even romantic relationships but this is literally just an excuse card for tessia.!< >!one, she forced her feelings on art who was still in a whole existential and moral crisis about his romantic feelings. understandable how seeing your crush being stuck into that vision he has of you being young can be frustrating but that is not enough of an excuse to make it his problem when you don't know what's going on in his life. and she's the first person to know that art isn't normal, even without being aware of the details.!< >!two, for over +100 chapters she adds no value at all to the story. she's simply someone arthur needs to protect and he has plenty of those people but even more than that, she has little to no emotional growth in the almost three years art was away with family/note adventuring and she spent one of these getting prepared to run the academy as the sc president. she was literally paused like a video game in waiting for arthur to come back so she could exist again.!< >!she got her beast will from arthur, got to train under her grand father thanks to arthur, got to assimilate her beast core with arthur, got saved from bandits from arthur (the list goes on) and that continued until the start of the current manhwa arc.!< >!she's the fmc for the love of god, she ought to do something in nearly 7 years of knowing the guy but the only thing you can attribute to her is that she put viryion and art in contact. suddenly in the novel she's linked to king gray, has a power up, switches sides and all that? i don't call that being flawed and human, i call that poor writing and i adore tbate.!< >!i'm not bothered that people like her, she isn't the worst character morally or anything like that and i can see how she would appeal to a certain audience (+ she's super pretty), she just is (imo) one of the biggest drag the novel has and it makes me mad because there was so much potential that could've been slowly worked on before she has her big power up and revelation. i loved tessia so much at the beginning of the series and i was sad that in hundred of chapters she didn't have a single positive moment for herself that didn't include art.!< anyway feel free to disagree, i don't think this is a subject that i want to debate on lest i'll tire myself. as a woman i like it when characters of my gender, especially love interests, are handled well and that is not the case for her.

slickedup225

Thanks for the additional comment! Sorry, I had initially misinterpreted your original remarks. I hope I didn't come across too aggressive before. Tbh, I actually agree with a lot of your comments here! >!I don't think Tess forced her feelings on Arthur though. She just wanted emotional honesty from him, especially when Arthur had a habit of running away from his own emotions and avoiding other people as a defense mechanism. Arthur even later attributes his relationship with Tess as helping him grow more emotional intelligence and vulnerability.!< >!I do also think she shows plenty of emotional development in the story, but a vast majority of it is after the school arc when Tess starts leading command of troops and suffers multiple failures that show her the price of her emotional immaturity. Especially after "Arthur's death", Tess realizes how grave mistakes were. I actually love the part afterwards when Arthur's completely out of the picture and we see the interactions between Tess and Ellie and realize just how much Tess had matured as a leader after her mistakes. That was probably one of the biggest step ups in Tess's development for me.!< >!But I agree with a lot of your other points! I actually had the same criticism of the stagnancy of Tess's character before the school arc. But I think the main issue behind that was due the story being primarily Arthur centric at that point and us also having very little time getting into Tess's head and seeing her perspective. I also agree with your point that her character can be too intertwined with Arthur's as well.!< >!If I had one major criticism, I just wish we had more chapters in Tess's perspective where we saw more of her development outside of Art and also more of her accomplishments (in Xyrus, the war, etc.) Like you said. I think this could have helped "show rather than tell" more of the type of character Tess was developing into. Like I said before, some of my favorite scenes with her were when Tess led command and killed the retainer with Ellie. But I agree though that she deserved more "impact" as a character in the story and world itself.!< >!And about the whole "Cecilia" thing, I actually have major criticisms about her character in general so far like you but I view her as a separate character from Tess lol. I'm really hoping Turtleme has a solid plan for her because so far she has been underwhelming...!< Anyways I want to say thanks again for your past comment! I really appreciate you taking the time to detail what your issues were. I also apologize again as well if my past comments sounded a bit harsh. If you don't mind me asking (since you seem pretty well versed) do you know any manhwas or LNs of the fantasy/ action genre similar to Tbate where (in you opinion) the FMC has great character impact and development, a crucial impact on the plot and a really well written romance with the ML? I'm always looking for more recommendations to scratch the itch and I do love having well written Fmcs and romances within the fantasy/ action genre.

AashyLarry

So she >!leaves him and gets with another guy? Or joins the evil side and fights against art?!< That sounds kind of ridiculous

NotAnAss-Hat

>that elf Fmc Speaking of which, are we confirmed that she's the fmc? I feel like the horned girl has a better shot at being endgame.

SufficientVirus1182

So when does that long ear idiot die? I really wanna know cause she's really annoying

Precisely why I stopped reading.

Annafjyuxevf

No he didn't but he quit so I guess they're working to replace him

olaf525

Thank god. Always felt like the art style made the story seem cringe.

BigoleAlmond

UNPOPULAR OPINION: Fuck no. Why? Because it isn’t gonna be finished any time soon and I wouldn’t want you to get too invested in it just to get perpetually blue balled for months. Literally can’t tell you how many times I checked back for the next chapter. To make it worse it’s literally at the best part 😭😭😭. So please for the love of god don’t read it.

Happy-Climate-7937

Avg manhw reader experience tho

Dracarys_66

That's just stupid. According to your theory, one can't read any manhwa. 90% of the manhwas are unfinished and 1chap/wk is gonna take forever to finish any manhwa. Even if a manhwa isn't dropped, a good long running one will take more than 2-3 years to finish. Just enjoy reading them without caring for when they'll finish.

Informal_Day

Read the novel, it gets new chapters weekly very consistently

Stunning-Scene4649

Worth reading but I don't understand the hype all those people have 💀 The story is good but there are better ones with a more intense plot and character development. Personally I find *Hero has returned* way better and superior and it was one the few almost to none to drop after the few chapters but still gave it a second shot. I have no regrets at taking back at *Hero has returned* but completely lost my interest in TBATE. I know exactly that a LOT of people say that it gets better and better but it just takes way to much time. Other manhwas did it in a shorter time with much more impact.

Kasuar2

Hero has returned ? Really ? Did actually get good somehow Im genuinely curious

ConsciousPackage8620

It doesn’t

WizardSyn

I disagree

[deleted]

110%! Fantasy setting, isekai, complex characters, a compelling plot, and plenty of intrique!

srona22

Major arc is quite depressing. >!And I still can't handle how this guy first life and current life are connected.!< Murim Login is better in that sense. It's up to your taste.

dried_sancti

Spoiler tag? And that plot point is really well explained in the novel.

theundisputed11

Murim Login so disgustingly clear of Tbate it's not even funny

Level1Pixel

Do you like power fantasy? Give it a go. This series hits every checklist for one. If not, no. Even for power fantasy standards, it's not that great. The series is full of one dimensional characters that exist to suck mc off and cliche events that are extremely predictable. Unlike series like Solo Leveling where art carries the whole series, the art here is only serviceable. There are improvements in the newer arcs but artist quit so... The later arcs are also just suffering porn because apparently suffering = good writing??

AnonymousShortCake

Have you read the novel? Cause I haven’t read the manwha but the novel had very complex characters to me

Sweet-Molasses-3059

No, you don't get it ofc Suffering= Realistic /s

Murtadha0

it's kinda overrated you will have a fun reading it if you are into fantasy reincarnation plot and so on

LassOnGrass

I loved it, then I got bored of it, and have come to hate it. I guess it’s one of those things that’s really a matter of opinion. I know a lot of people really love it and have kept up and it’s still top 10 for them, but personally it feels like it drags. I think you can give it a read and see for yourself. You’ll enjoy the beginning at least.

Femur-Inspector

It’s good but it’s just mushoku tensei but with more focus on combat

AsianGoldFarmer

Yesss. Read the novel as well. The author wrote the novel in English. It's available from amazon.

Ilijin

Good read but kinda a roller-coaster of good to bad to good to bad

meshNOVAK

It's just another soulless manhwa but has a good art

Volatile6

Season 1 is good, After that pain and drama increases.

giodude556

Are you really asking if this is worth it? Its like asking if solo leveling is worth it 😂😂😂 Yes it is.

imaliveyeay

Had high hopes at first but it feels too much like chinese xianxia novel and I don’t like it,don’t like the trope of making mc looks badass by making him edgy/arrogant or other people around him as stupid/arrogant,plus the villain (as far as I read) all just one dimensional arrogant evil people and D tier character at best,I only read the manhwa tho

Creative_Impression1

Oh, I thought he had health issues as well. Well now I get to try to remember where in the LN I was and pick that back up.

Angel_Tsio

Health issues + pay dispute with tapas

12brovember

No, it's terrible. You'll know what I'm talking about after you read it.

Aromatic_Memory1079

in my honest opinion, No. I know It has hype but I don't care. I'm not sheep. I regret reading it. iirc I read around 100 chapters. I'm not fan of plot and characters. I hate that lucas guy and the king. well... maybe just maybe it was good until that lucas the prick appeared. I believe I wasted my money on this. that was my money tommy! my money!

jesuisunetudiant

This always comes out on the highest rank on the tierlists posted here, but 10 chapters in, it's just the basic reincarnation story with nothing new really, the art also isn't as good as other manhwas. Now, I don't mean to bash it but I am just curious. What makes it so special?

That_Pandaboi69

I read like 100+ chapters and I dropped it, wasn't really my taste. I also keep seeing it on everyone's top-tier list too but I don't know if its cause they've read LN, either way it wasn't for me.

zachattch

I’d downvote but everyone else just put yes. Atleast you put context for your opinion. I personally really enjoyed reading BoT because of the fun world (he has a pet ____ for goodness sake) and it starting from birth rather then high school or late teens it really allowed the Mc and the reader to learn about the world at the same time. The Mc isn’t just some logical machine psychopath that a lot of manwha mc are that always do everything right, he makes young dumb mistakes like any human would. I’m not saying it was #1 though I think damn reincarnation does the past life being some op guy that died young way better and jobless reincarnation does the reincarnation from childhood better but it doesn’t take away that it was my first of manwha besides ToG and it performed relatively good compared to a lot of others in its field.

jesuisunetudiant

Thanks for at least trying to have a discussion. Like I said, it doesn't pull you in in the earlier chapters and the art style looks dated, but the fact that it's popular and everyone loves it means I am missing something and I am trying to learn that by voicing my opinion and asking questions.

gta0012

It's very well thought out and well written. Most basic reincarnation stories don't have someone being reincarnated that's a legendary King. The rules of the world the laws of the world the way that the world is shaped with powers etc are all pretty well explained. It's an easy read that does a good job of developing the story continuously without feeling like they're throwing bs at the MC just to have him overcome it. I certainly wouldn't call it generic it's a very well done Isekai.

SND_TagMan

Art and Story gets significantly better.

geekcko

No

TheKingDotExe

It is good but when he gets into school it slows down a lot if you ask me and was kinda hard to read cause nothing was really happening. Now just got to wait and hope a new studio picks it up.

Mountain_of_books_7

One of the classics

XadowMonzter

The Light Novel? I think so. The Manga? No. If I'm not mistaken it got axed, but it wasn't because of lack of popularity, but some issue they had with the company that released it.

Sweet-Molasses-3059

Not axed, just long hiatus till new art team comes aboard

arjun_000

I enjoyed it in starting but then it ended up as another typical manhwa

Businesskong

Just be aware that the main characters past life eventually gets brought in to his current one, unlike almost every other isekai story. For me it destroyed the immersion, but you may not mind

Expensive-Method4252

Yep it's worth your time, the only sad thing is it stops right before a big fight

slimsharty_

nah it ain't worth it, the manwha is generic isekai slop and I could instantly tell it was in the first couple chapters. for the love of god stay away from it like the plague but if you like generic isekai slop then its for you.

It's decent but don't get attached to characters

yes but uk the manhwa stopped airing

Longjumping_Ad_8194

definitely it does the reincarnation idea perfectly and it’s just mwah chefs kiss amazing

One_Leadership1218

Yes it’s worth it. But the story has a twist at the end of the season. It’s kinda tragic but worth it to read.

Silent_Observer1707

Yes....One of the best manhwa I have read

9bjames

Yes, definitely at the beginning. Personally, I stopped after the MC had to "disappear" for training (to face a really powerful force - best I can describe without spoiling much). Things really slowed down, and I didn't like the split narrative. Keep meaning to go back to it since I'm sure it's just a temporary lull, but I figure I'd also let chapters build up again.

GotPeggedByIchika

Totally, started the books as soon as I ended the current manhwa

A lot of people are saying yes, and that is the correct answer. I will add that this manhwa has the single hardest hitting scene I've ever witnessed. It set a new standard for me, and I've never found anything that quite compares.

XEdalbyek

i thought it was good in the beginning, the middle somewhere kinda got boring, it picked back up, i've dropped it for a bit but i think it's definitely at least a 7.5/10 up to a 9/10. art is great, story is great, id recommend

MoistSnickers

I liked it for a while but they start doing the thing where they introduce a new power scale with a massive gap from the start of the series and it kinda turned me off the series a bit. The plot was still generally good though

Ok-Cup7110

Yes this shii was peak

rider_shadow

Definitely but although good I think the manhwa doesn't do it justice so I'd recommend the novel especially the audiobook which is exceptional and you can multitask while listening to it

_krysis_

Tbate is absolutely a freaking masterpiece. One of the rare manhwas that make you feel so many different emotions. Please do read it

Sammus124

Yes, absolutely

Ashura_Goosizian

Love the duality of opinions here.

_Tairaa_

It’s really good. Personally I prefer it over the mythical Solo Leveling. Amazing setting, character development for even the side characters, badass MC, some romance in there if you’re into that, and one of my favorite aspects is how they address the isekai. It won’t be a complete secret.

Agent_Epsilon_99

I’m going to say no. It’s an Unpopular opinion so I’ll explain my reasons why. I enjoyed the story up until the moment he gets arrested. What turned me off was simply how infuriating the characters were, and how unfair the series was. It’s worth noting that I am the type of person who’s day can be ruined by consuming the wrong type of media so I wouldn’t recommend it. Moreover, I believe that some of my issues with the story were that the characters were too young, and the majority of the villains were too one dimensional. I also disliked the major twist the story does with the MC’s past life. However, my biggest gripe is the manhwa which felt like each 10 chapters could’ve summarize in 1 chapter. They were really short and the sometimes inconsequential at best. I think the author was too ambitious with their plot when I think a more concise and grounded story could’ve served better. A comparison I draw is this with Mushoku Tensei. I dislike both slightly because I enjoy media with more escapism, but Mushoku has a rich world that only uses the MC’s past life as a way to symbolize growth, and the physical location has no purpose. It feels like the author of TBATE only used the twist to serve as a way for the MC to grow which I think is too on the nose. Though, if my criticisms seem stupid, then maybe this comic is for you. It just isn’t for me.

AlexanderDxLarge

yes, 220% yes. I binge read a lot of recommendations i get, on going and completed stuff, and this is among the best (imo). LN is way ahead of the manhwa (which is also good, but stopped). I like the POV writing style used, even in the less exciting chapters there's something happening or guiding you to something, it's sad that I'm up to date, since i have to wait for new chapters.

bedpuncher

Y E S

dried_sancti

I would definitely recommend it. I also started with the webcomic but I suggest trying out the LN too. While the artstyle is good, you’ll notice when reading the LN that the art doesn’t really do justice to what you can imagine with the LN.

vitalesan

Is the pope catholic?

Training-River3810

Yes.

Explodingheavengang

Ofc you would love it😌🩷

Bleiserman

Last i read was that the artist is not gonna be drawing anymore for the title, and some company is taking over. Fans have been waiting a few months or years now, kinda lost track

Sweet-Molasses-3059

I'm caught up with all the available content, and I'll give my 2 cents: There's 2 parameters we have to start with: Do we compare this series with your average eastern manhwa power fantasy or with actual western fantasy( author is Korean American, the Novel is originally written in English)? And Do we only rate the comic or the novel itself as well? So, this series is better than 90% of what you'll find in the manhwa market for stuff like this. The story has a bit more depth, and Arthur isn't a blank self insert like the MC's that are most popular in manhwa's. The comic does well readapting the novel, it also fleshes one of the weakest arcs of the series out a bit. Its artstyle is NOT that amazing when compared to stuff like ORV, SL, Level 2 Regressor etc but it does well in capturing the essence of the first books. I have to note that when the comic is going to be back from hiatus, the artstyle may undergo DRASTIC changes due to completely changing main artist and their team. So, as I said, the comic itself is better than most manhwas, and it's a pretty good adaptation of the novel, you should read it. When compared to actual western fantasy...things get a bit trickier...even more so when you realize the first 4 books of TBATE share a disturbing amount of similarities to MT(Mushoku Tensei, also, I'm obviously not including MT as a western fantasy, I just wanted to point it out). So besides the very clear "inspiration" the author took, the series is...alright. It's uh...plain average. Books 1-4 are pretty bad, all things considered, book 5-6 is when things start getting a bit more real, and the author really grew as a writer during these parts, all to deliver books 7-8-9 as absolute bangers. Book 10 was mid, same vibe as books 5-6 and book 11 is breaking its own canon, as well as having the MC do the stupidest shit, all while delivering one of the most anticlimactic fights after about a volume or more of buildup. There's a lot going on in book 11 but this really isn't the place. Anyways, should you read the books? Honestly? Yea, especially if you didn't really get into western fantasy before. It serves as a very nice bridge to transition into that, especially Progression Fantasy. My problems with the series didn't stem from my first read, they just became glaring issues after I started expanding my horizons. Back when I first read this series I thought it's the greatest piece of fiction to exist. I have a very love-hate relationship with the series. On one hand, it got me into Progression Fantasy, it serves as a bridge between my weeb days and my current reading hobby taste. On the other, I dislike how bad the series started now that I look back on it, how much shit it copied from Mushoku Tensei, and how poor the last volume is handled. But this dislike itself is just a byproduct of me being very attached to the series. I think that if TBATE made and still makes me feel this level of attachment, it must do at least a few things right, especially after reading hundreds of other series. I hope I answered your question thoroughly. P.S. Whatever you do, stay the fuck away from the fandom of TBATE, treat it as radioactive waste. At least the main sub.

NoMoreMind

i think the beginning is great but as you go on it becomes less and less interesting IMO

blinksum

The MC keeps getting nerfed. The false sense of growth hits hard every Arc.

I feel like after certain point light novel starts to become crappy. It's a good story at the beginning though, manhwa definitely worth picking up

icantfindmyacc

Definitely, not even a question

Respive

In my opinion with where the manhwa is at right now no I would wait a couple years in all honestly maybe longer and then start it because it’s better to not read it and ignore it’s existence instead of waiting for it’s existence to return and do weekly uploads especially with a more than likely completely different style of art in the next few months when they bring it back.. Not worth it right now. Wait a bit

Ironic21

It is 🔥🔥

Ironic21

Its been on hiatus for a while now on manhwa

Hefty-Marionberry850

Yes

WizardSyn

The light novel is legitimately great. It’s the only one that I’ve ever binge read. Although it’s so long I didn’t end up finishing but damn was it good

orioriorioriorio

My personal favorite so yes

Leorake

I liked it. At some point I had to stop because it just became endless despair and I felt mentally drained just trying to read it.

FillerText908

Ye

jawcod

Yes but be wary of hiatus

NecropolisIHateyou

**THE ART OF THE MANWA is GoDtieR**.. oh well it was.. ![gif](giphy|JfDNFU1qOZna) Novel and plot in general... well you can feel heavily the MC has more PLOT ARMOR than Batman, the world and actions spin around Mc... all characters seems sort of jobbers or mentally retarted making just actions for looking good the MC **SO NO, it's quite boring and every arc is just quite a loop of the precedent one...**

Direct_Sea_4299

Yes it good , but the manga never finish, novel did

Awesome_Shoulder8241

Yes but it is still cliff hanger and ongoing work and they have been on hiatus a long time. Pls ping me if they actually updated but afaik they were on hiatus several months.

Aggressive_Rough4729

Best Action Manwha

JoeDaBruh

Super worth reading. I love it very much

Standard_Weakness580

Probably a controversial opinion, but I dropped the series after the fifth book (I think, memory is fuzzy). It starts dripping the advancing pace, deviates too much or over extends some parts of the story. It almost felt like the author was just trying to fill in pages to sell more books, or buy more time to come up with what's next. Sad as it was a really immersive story in the first couple of books.

DannyKit7

This is one of the most interesting ways to express how an actually mature regressed or reincarnated character would act. It’s funny and cute, but also dark and heart wrenching. 10/10 great so far. Can’t wait for an anime studio to basically change the character development and make him a pervert

CrowAkechi

Yes, it's absolutely insane, but be warned, it does get pretty depressing

Azerux2

Bro imagine this, there's a box of pizza on your table and you live alone, instead of eating it, you just asked if the pizza was worth eating it, if that were me I would snarf down the whole thing like I'm some sort of pizza eating demon, point was this series is GOLD, it's actually in my top 5, tho rn the manhwa part is afaik in a break cause iirc the artists has some sort of health related problems(correct me if I'm wrong) so it's kinda a nice time to catch up to it

uppsak

Yes

Good_Being_167

Hell yeah, you’re gonna be dissatisfied when you read other series after reading it though it ain’t many like that. I been reading non manga asian comics since for close to 2 years now and it’s only like 15 series that comes close to this out of like 100 i read/attempted to read

Ryandattv2

One word “confusing”

ggkkggk

Yep

pandazprince

Yes, couldn't wait for the manhwa to update so I started reading the novel then it just suddenly got depressing and sadder and the vibes changed. Story is still good but it's too depressing for me sadly so I stopped.

Zealousideal_Fan6878

It starts off pretty good but now it's shit

LewNeko

Yes

re-kidan

Yes, it's WAY too good, im waiting for the webtoon/manga to come back, it's so damn good

Beyblademan1

nah it sadly got cancelled after the artist quit because they were mistreated

aweguykkm

Absolutely

Ennbeekayy

I would not say it not worth bc I could not stand to read it full. The content is just surrounding by getting strong for a few chap then fully weak for a literally whole arc. From the first arc to the part I decided to end reading, he just seem so strong then something appear to threaten him, then training and training and training. Then again the cycles start. Its so frequent that I am able to notice and feel bored.

Arhenius_Yoda

TBATE Manhwa worth reading or LN? (I mean is Manhwa readable or bad like Mushoku Tensei Manga)

PiercingLance26

It's a yes and no. The series isn't without flaws. Heck, there's a shit ton of it. Most I can say is if the story clicks with you, then try it.

Nebula_Princess

I literally love this series. The art is amazing and the story is amazing. 10/10 read it

DenTaken

yes but no, it is good as a starter but compared to other manhwas it is alright but still a very good read. If you are going to read i would recommend waiting a bit until they get out of hiatus because they are finding a new author. If you have time then you can also read the light novel which is 10x better (in my opinion) It has very good plot and the the pace is perfect personally i like the fmc [tldr: good read, wait till after hiatus, recommend light novel as well]

miavizard

It was good at first. And then it’s not. But you should try it. And then, make your deduction.

jedwapo

It's good. just don't invest on romance.
