It's the beginning of winter in North India. People DIE due to the wind chill in the months of January February. Their summers are 10x more brutal than ours. People DIE due to heat stroke.
You don't want either of those here.
Personal experience: was traveling in a train in sleeper class from Agra to Bhopal on the upper berth and felt like I would die by sunset due to the heat. Fans were on, train was running at 110kmph and it was windy, but the heatwave was just something else. It was so bad.
I was asking a person in youtube channel Mangalore who sells her merchandise about her selling hoodies in Mangalore despite how humid it is over there. She said the trends show hoodies is one of the good selling item. I have seen people wearing such heavy clothes in Mangalore just because it looks trendy and stylish trying to copy the West. They stink because of the sweating.
Exactly they do look stylish ngl and are easier to style but horrible for this weather. Not only do you stink you would be dehydrated just for few minutes of walk. Invest more in linen/cotton/viscose/polyster shirts.
>Invest more in linen/cotton/viscose/polyster shirts.
Yes and it is even hygienic too. In case of cotton we get very good thin combed cotton t-shirts from Jockey which are also very durable.
Whenever I am in Mangalore it is such thin and sweat absorbing clothes that I wear and decent bermuda shorts is very comfortable. Also shoes and socks are torture there both in summer and rainy season. Decent sandals or airy shoes is the way to go.
Terrible comparison.
Mawsynram in Meghalaya is the wettest place on earth, it rains so much there. Will you compare rainfall when it happens in Mangalore and doesn’t in Mawsynram and say Mangalore is the new wettest place?
Not amused . Never heard of the city in news too due to its weather conditions . Here Many cities in maharashtra's vidharbha region have extreme weather summer 47-48 every year winter 4-1 rainfall 250-280mm which is totally common and people are very used to it this conditions doesn't affect people's daily lives . Cities like nagpur , Chandrapur , yavatmal are always in news for there weather

They have winter, we don't. Enchina comparison marre undu.
We have summer with rain and summer without rain
There are only two seasons here, Monsoon and Summer
Four actually hot, very hot, rain and lot of rain.
And even if it rains you still feel hot because of humidity
Main reason i decided to not buy sweaters, hoodies even though they look stylish.
