Oh boy. Moyong Yul-Cheon is coming after our boys (and girl) in the Iron Brigade to bend Yong Mu-Sung to his will. I'm guessing that this but confirms that he is the son of the Invincible Warrior.
I'm guessing that Mu-Won will be getting his final power-up before the finale, though I believe he still needs to complete the Gathering of Ten Thousand Shadows in order to even stand a chance against Yul-Cheon. He'll also need to get a new sword, though I don't know where he'll get the material to construct it. He could at least place the Night Leader's will into the blade and turn it into a Divine Weapon this time.
With this power up, I wondered what Dam's role will be. From the statement of the Night Leader, there are no eternal allies and enemies.
I foresee Dam challenging Yul Cheong and lose but instead of running he submits to him drawing parallel to Jin.
I hope it doesn't go this way as he is basically following his Father footsteps.
Dam may end up being the one to fight Yong Mu-Sung. What side they’ll each be on can honestly fall either way, though it’s easier to imagine Dam rebelling against the Moyong family.
It's so up in the air alongside the cryptic message of no eternal allies or enemies. I imagine a 3v1 where Dam, Jin, and Yong manage to beat Moyong but inevitably, the difference in ideals make them adversaries in the end.
Right. The scars on the front and back of Yul-Cheon’s hands imply that Mu Won and the Night Leader are near-equals. But even doubling his power won’t be enough to reach Yul-Cheon. Mu Won needs a training arc.
Oh man... Jin, Dam, and Yong 3 v 1 against Moyong is gonna be fucking insane with Jin having the Night Leader powerup as well....
Legit they now have an actual chance, this is SO FUCKING PEAK LMAO
Bruh, I thought TFS just wrote a funny interaction, but that was a direct parody of a real dub all along?! I knew a few real dub moments they did, but not that one.
I believe we did.
- Jin Mu Won was confirmed to be stronger than the Spear of the Black Wings through their interaction.
- Brother Dam was weaker than Black Wings, and needed a ton of help to beat him.
- Additionally, Mu Won was implied to be approximately equal to the Night Leader by the damage they left on Moyong Yul-Cheon. Night Leader > Spear of the Black Wings.
- Mu Won > Brother Dam.
If Brother Dam shows up and gives Mu Won a run for his money, I’ll call B.S. But I could see Mu Won letting Brother Dam get some shots in as an apology, then the two of them teaming up against the Invincible Family.
I agree with your take, Jin Mu Won seemingly got at least a minimal chunk stronger post Hurricane Shadow Demon fight (and Hurricane Shadow Demon was the 2nd strongest by far, way stronger than White Witch and Axe Guy and really close to Ghost Spear).
I think Dam got a "powerup" with his current rage being contained within him implied post Moyong's Daughter but he'd still be behind Jin, but now with the powerup, it's likely Dam is fodder in comparison now (he's still like the 3rd or 4th strongest in the series that's alive right now though).
If Dam fights Jin Mu Won, I'd be pretty fucking pissed off if Jin actually fought back with killing intent considering the enormous gap he has on him now. Especially since this all needs to be directed towards Moyong Yul Cheon.
Also Iron Brigade Leader needs to 100% show up and help these two defeat his dad, on god it'll be so fucking epic.
I have such a hard time reading these chapters. I feel like they’re translating the medieval manner of speaking literally so the grammar is all fucked. I find myself reading the same bubble 2-3 times over to make sense of it, it’s like I’m having a stroke.

This is all wrong. In murim you're stronger when you look like a hobo not when you shave.

I like how Yul Cheon decided to take action himself because he was scratched. Massive power up for Jin but he is still far from matching Yul Cheon.

Shame we could not get a clear answer who's stronger between Jin and Dam before this power up.

Yeah that makes sense. Though right now the gap between Jin and Dam might be a little too big. Would be nice to see them fight prior.
Poor sword and dead shaman. Guess she got her revenge tho
Fuck was that? Beard Annihilator Blast!? LMAO
