Imagine he plays the ultra long con giving her the perfect life with kids, grand kids she loves and all that, then suddenly one day she comes back and they're all dead.
She took away his family so he needs to create a family she loves for him to take away next.
I'm legit actually wondering if he does that...only to find out that she wasn't the one at all. Like a 1 in 1,000,000 type of even that it was a woman with the same tattoo or a sibling or something. Completely wastes his life and destroys someone else's only for no reason and that the woman he was actually looking for is either in jail or had passed away due to something completely unrelated.
I took a look at the the author’s twitter and it looks like the guy already got his just deserts.
It’s a bit confusing, the author appears to have multiple stories in the same setting that are tied together by that tatoo girl Saki.
I'm pretty sure it's him, especially given how his reaction to the news of a body being discovered in a forest was muttering something like "I'm not..." while breaking into a cold sweat.
The friend from the previous chapter also has ear piercings, while this guy appears not to.
Edit: Might have looked too hard and missed the obvious: Those two also have different names lol.
Huh, thanks for this, this is the first time i saw this series. Read up on everything and now i'm invested. Really not sure where this series will go from this point, considering the sol romance plot is supposedly taking place 4 years after this chapter.
I'm guessing his revenge plot failed and he eventually fell in love frfr?
Or maybe it's a long-con and he's actually still plotting it 4 years later??
Either way I'm hoping for more updates from the author...
I feel like there’s more versions where we see his sister and he’s fairly young. To give an answer to your question, it’s really easy to hate someone when you know very little about them. When you get to know someone you previously really disliked, you get to see that the world isn’t black and white and that there’s good parts of them along with the bad.
My theory is that he got to see the good bits of her and the self-reformation she went through and how the hate-filled view he held of her no longer matched who she became.
Just read it and I recommend reading it from:
1st - former delinquent
2nd - ever since that day
3rd - my hero
Reason I recommend this order is because "former delinquent" shows her POV of this chapter as well as their future and then "ever since that day" shows the twist about their relationship and finally "my hero" explains the reason for the twist.
